Dr. Chacon graduated at the top of her class at a private all girls school in Miami, the Convent of the Sacred Heart as valedictorian. She then obtained her concentration in Economics and medical degree from Brown University’s Program in Liberal Medical Education. Her interest in pursuing the subspecialty field of dermatology led to a research fellowship in dermatologic surgery at the University of Miami, during which she performed significant research investigations, conference presentations and managed clinical trials in lasers. She then completed an internship in surgery at Orlando Regional Medical Center, followed by a dermatology residency. She completed her dermatology residency at Los Angeles County + University of Southern California Medical Center in Los Angeles, California, where she served as chief resident.
