Overview of Benji Sleep

Benji Sleep was founded by Ben and Mark McLean in 2018. Like many of us, the brothers were overwhelmed with the traditional method of purchasing bedding essentials. Prices are expensive; selections are confusing; and the overall process is just exhausting. The pair decided to tackle every problem they had personally experienced and came up Benji Sleep – the solution.

I’m sure everyone reading this Benji sleep review can agree on the importance of a good night’s sleep—which is only possible when your bed is comfortable enough. With that in mind, Benji Sleep offers Sheet Sets, Duvet Cover Sets, and their Benji Bundle – all which deliver exceptional results that are backed by athletic-grade fabrics; use of advanced technology; and a price that doesn’t get any better.

Although their line of bedding products is limited, I’m still a fan of how simple and straightforward the brand is with their selection. While individual bedsheets, duvet covers, and pillowcases aren’t sold separately; I prefer to buy aesthetically pleasing sets that match and work wonders to complement the rest of my room.

Benji Sleep Review

Here’s where it gets a bit technical, but I’ve only included the essential things you need to know. Benji Sleep’s products are made with 1,500 threads per square inch of polyester microfibers for breathability, softness, and durability. The smart fabric and temperature-regulated material is designed to wick away moisture, rather than absorb it; be hypoallergenic for all skin types; and is temperature controlled for maximum comfort. It’s safe to say that your sleep just got deep.

Benji Sleep also offers their selections at a price below the average market by delivering directly from the manufacturers. The brand gets straight to the point with an online platform and without the confusing salesperson; wholesaler; and retail markups. Simple, efficient, and quick – something we can all enjoy.

Where Are Benji Sleep Products Made?

Benji Sleep Review

Apparently, there is no information on where Benji’s bedding products are made. The most information I could find mainly focuses on the brand’s ability to avoid the need for wholesalers, warehousing, and retail markups. While this is all good news for a lower price, it doesn’t exactly tell us where these products are produced.

On another note, Benji Sleep does mention that they practice a Sustainable Manufacturing Process. Keeping the environment and customers in mind, the brand uses Textile Paper Green (TPG) dyes and washing techniques for bedsheets which are made with polyester microfibers. I’ve got very sensitive skin so this information is super relevant, as I’m sure it will be for many of you as well.

Benji Sleep Pillow Set Review

Finding the perfect pillow is no easy feat. Hard, soft, medium-firm, thin… There’s almost too many options to choose from and there’s few that are perfect for all sleeping positions. Enter: the Benji Ultra- Soft Gel Fiber Down Alternative Pillow Set

This medium fill pillow is so soft, you’d never believe that it isn’t down-filled. With a 300 thread count cotton shell, you don’t have to worry about wrinkles (or a pillow case). And for the heavy droolers out there, the quick-drying, machine washable material has your back when new house guests take a tour of your sleeping quarters.

To top things off, this heavenly-soft set is certified Oeko-Tex Standard- 100, meaning the textiles have been tested for potentially harmful materials and/or contaminants. You’ll sleep more comfortably knowing that you’re resting your head on something safe, hypoallergenic and temperature regulating too.

Say hello to your sweetest dreams ever with the Benji Ultra- Soft Gel Fiber Down Alternative Pillow Set, priced at $110.

Beni Sleep Comforter Review

One thing is clear: this brand knows how to make products for convenience. Take for example, the Benji Ultra- Soft Gel Fiber Down Alternative Comforter, which is ideal for both chilly temperatures and screeching hot nights that require AC.

Whether you run hot or cold, the velvety microfiber of this quilted blanket will provide you the warming up or cooling down you need. It has the softness of a true down comforter and even has corner loops to avoid slip-off during your deepest sleep.

Like all Benji textiles, the Ultra- Soft Gel Fiber Down Alternative Comforters materials are checked for unfavorable contaminants so that you can rest easily. They won’t crease or get wrinkly, helping you maintain a perfectly-made bed at all times.

For those who are prone to allergic reactions, take advantage of this $120 deal before spring rears its head!

Benji Sheet Sets

The sheet sets are as soft as they look, and they feel glorious. A lot of big-named brands will brag about their high thread counts but are really just fluffing their sheets with cheaper materials to increase the count and price. Benji claims that doesn’t matter for quality. In actuality, sheets from Benji Sleep uses 1,500 threads per inch using synthetic fibers that are properly woven and brushed and designed to be thin. Say goodbye to false claims and heavy products tricking you into buying overpriced sheets.

The Benji Sheet Sets feature 16” pockets to ensure proper fitting and even come in seven colors that work wonders to complement the rest of your room’s look. Another awesome benefit that comes with the sheets is that they’re designed to wick away moisture, rather than absorbing it like traditional cotton sheets. The smart fabric also regulates between temperatures, so my sleep, and your sleep, is the best it can be.

What you can expect to find in the Benji Sheet Sets is listed below:

  • 1x fitted sheet
  • 1x flat sheet
  • 2x pillowcases

Benji Duvet Cover Set

Another great selection from Benji Sleep’s product line is the Benji Duvet Cover Sets. Offering the same luxurious, durable, and soft bedding products, I love the comfort it delivers when I sleep. Similar to the features in the sheet sets, the duvet cover sets also uses smart fabric for the highest level of performance for a good night’s rest.

The 1,500 threads per square inch using synthetic microfibers, along wick and temperature-controlled technology make the duvet cover sets remarkably soft and gentle to your skin – and I have pretty sensitive skin. The set comes in four distinct colors and two patterns which makes it perfect to mix and match with other bedding products. Getting ready for bed has never been more fun or comfy.

What you can expect to find in the Benji Duvet Cover Set is listed below:

  • 1x duvet cover
  • 2x pillowcases

Benji Bundle

You’ve got the amazing benefits and features from the sheet sets and the duvet cover sets; but what do you get when you put them all together? You guessed right. Benji Sleep offers the Benji Bundle which allows you to get your hands on both their set collections at a discount. All you have to do is choose the color and size of each set and then purchase away so you get all the bedding products you need in a few simple clicks.

As I’ve mentioned in the Benji Sleep review, all their products are made with the same synthetic, athletic-grade, microfibers to deliver a superior level of comfort. The soft, gentle, yet durable, material are all designed to wick away moisture to maintain the balance between warm and cold. It doesn’t get better than this, other than that you also save an additional $10 with this purchase. Sleeping with Benji’s bedding products has got me staying in bed and writing this review. With that said, it’s time for another nap.

What you can expect to find in the Benji Bundle is listed below:

  • 1x fitted sheet
  • 1x flat sheet
  • 2x pillowcases
  • 1x duvet cover
  • 2x pillowcases

Benji Sleep Prices

This has probably been the most important thing on your mind; so here it is, right here in the Benji Sleep review.

I’m surprisingly amazed at the market and how bedding products vary to a large degree. To make matters worse, such things like technical jargon, statistics, and facts can also be confusing. However, with that said, Benji keeps things quite simple and on the low. While individual products aren’t available, the sets are still cheap. Below are the listed prices for their entire collection:

  • Benji Sheet Sets – $95 CAD
  • Benji Duvet Cover Sets – $95 CAD
  • Benji Bundle – $190 CAD minimum

Benji Sleep Sizes

Size is another important thing to consider when purchasing bedding products. The last thing anyone wants is to purchase a product online only to find out that you ordered the wrong size. As I’ve mentioned earlier in the Benji Sleep review, the brand likes to keep things simple. Product selections, colors, and sizes are easy to navigate and are as simple as a click away.

Benji Sleep does offer a size guide which can be found directly below the “Add to Cart” option when looking to purchase one of their bedding products. In my opinion, the brand should have a separate page that informs customers with dimensions and recommended sheet sizes for convenience. In any case, I’ve listed the details of their size offerings below:

  • Full/Double
  • Queen
  • King

Where to Buy Benji Sleep?

Benji Sleep Review

Nope, and I know it’s hard to get an idea of how the product will look and feel without physically touching the products. However, although they don’t have a physical location, they do offer a “100-night guarantee” that gives you an ample amount of time to test out their bedding selections.

Absolutely. Benji’s products are available through their online channel. Their product line is straightforward, and their website is easy to navigate. Check out their site here.

Are Benji Sleep Products Available on Amazon?

For those of you who are keen on finding better deals through Amazon, I’m afraid that their products are not available there. Benji Sleep operates through their own website as a means to offer the best prices.

We do recommend checking out an Amazon favorite Balichun sheets here. They use incredibly soft Egyptian cotton and have great reviews.

I am a very happy canadian.we have great canadian sheets shipped to us. Nothing bad about that. Many American products are not avail to canadians . #shop canadian proud❤

Answered by Maria (2 years ago) Reply

Bought a sheet And then found out they are made in China.
Please b3 upfront about this

Asked by Kim (3 years ago) Reply

I have purchased the bed sheets and duvet cover which are all very nice however, upon arrival I noticed the MADE IN CHINA tag which does not make me happy. Thought I was supporting a Canadian company. I will not be purchasing anything further.

Answered by Sue Ross (2 years ago) Reply

I agree! Advertising Proudly Canadian. That’s why I ordered them too. But the tags on the sheets says Made in China. Very disappointing

Asked by JJ (2 years ago) Reply

True, but it wouldn’t be $95 if made in Canada. At least the profits stay in the country.

Asked by Pat (2 years ago) Reply

Total con, they are made in China and they are most certainly not 1500 thread count, they only use that as a comparison but it’s easy to assume that is the actual count.
The pillow cases I bought have puckered seams, a sure sign of poor workmanship, the top sheet has a huge snag about three feet long, which is another sign of a more open weave. The washing instructions state “wash in cold water and don’t use fabric softener”, not sure this would be an issue if this was a robust fabric. Amazon has bedding making the same claim that they are made from double brushed microfiber and they are half the price. Also note there are zero negative reviews on their website and their facebook page, just not possible.
Just in the process of trying to find out how to get a refund, something that’s very simple at the bigbox stores or Amazon.

Wash before using?

We just bought some Benji sheets and pillow cases, should we wash them before using them.

Benji Sheets
Asked by Valerie Massy (2 years ago) Reply

I like the feel of sheets. Second set arrived with holes in the top sheet. No problem having it replaced. My issue is that fact that they were made in China. I believe that information should be readily available on their web site. Saying that they are a Canadian company implies misconstrues that fact that they are made in China.

I love the bedding from Benji. I am on my 5th set and bought for every family member.
