Since that first breakthrough in 1989, Case has kept Nite Ize’s home base in Boulder, and has laid claim to over 500 patented products. 

Case and his team also strive to build trust with customers through great customer service and products that are built to last. They’re also happy to partner with fellow inventors who have an idea, but lack the resources to produce their invention en masse – and all you have to do to get the ball rolling is submit your invention through their website.

It can clip onto your belt loop or bag with ease, and the stainless steel body ensures it can handle all the usual bumps and scratches you might encounter. As the name suggests, there are indeed ratchet bits on both ends for tightening and loosening, but this tool is so much more.

And I thought pop sockets were the most interesting things you could adhere to the back of our phones! If you’ve ever been inconvenienced by having your phone in one pocket and your wallet in another, then the Nite Ize Ca$Hback Phone Wallet is the perfect solution.

Having the right hook to hold your gear can be a tricky business. The types you screw or nail into a surface are sturdy, but it’s a lot of work to pull them out if you feel like moving them. 

On the other hand, hooks that stick to walls with adhesive are easier to install but can be prone to falling off prematurely.

If you want a hook that’s equal parts sturdy and flexible, try the Gear Tie Bendable S-Hook. 

These Nite Ize gear ties are rubberized for great grip and are simple to use. Here’s what you do:

1. Hook one end on anything that’s protruding, be it a wire rack, branch, or ledge
2. Twist the hook around using the inner wire into the shape you need it to be
