Overview Of Eva

Eva Home Review

The story of Eva starts a few short years ago in 2017 when it was a brand selling just one product: the innovative mattress-in-a-box.

The trend was huge at the time and Eva’s founder, Amanda Niu, saw success but knew she needed to diversify her product lineup. I’m pretty stoked she did because what she created next was something the world needs more of—practical, functional, simple, and sustainable furniture and bedding.

If you’re in the market for a good brand to support, it’s this one. As a Certified B Corporation, its emphasis is on slow, steady growth, responsible manufacturing, and doing good for the earth. Of course, its affordable prices don’t hurt either.

Transforming the furniture and mattress industry into what it should be, this Australia-based brand does it all transparently—which means you get to see exactly where, how, and by whom your furniture was made. It’s a noble approach to the market, no double, and one we’ll unravel throughout this Eva Home review. But first, let’s take a look at the highlights.

Highlights

Like its furniture, the Eva Home collection is simple and well-designed. Made from sustainably sourced FSC-certified wood and eco-friendly textiles, it’s hard not to snatch up one of each.

If you do plan to outfit your entire home, know that the brand offers payment plans through Afterpay, Zip, Klarna, and other financing services. But enough of the paperwork, let’s get this Eva Home review on the road.

Eva Home Review

As promised, up next in this Eva Home review, I’ll be moving right along and checking out the brand’s bestsellers in detail. From the award-winning Oeko-Tex certified mattress to sustainable, antibacterial hemp sheets, let’s find out if this forward-thinking company is truly on to something.

Eva Home The Eva Mattress Review

Ever since The Eva Mattress was launched in 2017, it’s caused quite a stir, despite being a drama-free mattress. People quickly caught on to the difference that sustainable materials and layers can make in the bedroom.

Since it’s made from cooling memory foam, your mattress will arrive in a box which means it’s much easier to get upstairs. But before we talk about logistics, here’s why The Eva Mattress has won so many awards:

  • A 5-zone pocket spring system
  • Low partner disturbance
  • Allergy-free
  • Adapts to your body
  • Supportive

Since the mattress is made of gel memory foam, it isn’t hot and stuffy like some other memory foam mattresses can be. And clocking in at a 7-8/10 on the firmness scale, it’s great for side and back sleepers.

Sizes include single, double, queen, king single, and king. Prices start at $750 and go up to $1,150 for a king.

Eva Home Everyday Sofa Review

What if your couch was as comfortable as your bed and as easy to wash as your bedding? The Everyday Sofa was designed for real life, so not only is it super cushy, but it’s also practical. Coffee and cartoons? Lounge on the chaise. Spill something? Take off the cover and throw it in the washing machine.

Requiring very little assembly, this durable Eva sofa was built to last you a long time. When building yours, you’ll get to choose from a 2.5-seater to a six-seater and you can add an ottoman if you please. Upon delivery, you get to pick your preferred set-up as well.

Made of materials you can feel good about buying like sustainably-sourced wood, and CFC-free foam, get yours for $1,850+.

Eva Home The Eva Pillow Review

If I had to, I could handle an uncomfortable bed, but an uncomfortable pillow? That’s a different story. Each time I buy a pillow, I end up getting a different one because honestly, finding the perfect support and comfort has been tricky.

The Eva Pillow was made to be the last pillow you ever buy. It’s made from memory foam—but not the hot and sticky kind. For airflow, it’s designed to be breathable while still giving you the support you need.

It’s a great option for all kinds of sleepers[2]. Equipped with a cushy cover, remove it for a plush pillow feel or keep it on for something a little firmer. Get yours on sale right now for $120 (normally $150).

Eva Home The Eva Timber Bed Frame Review

At first glance, you may not think the Eva Timber Bed Frame is super special. But let your eyes linger a while and you’ll see just how sturdy and well-made it is.

My favorite thing about it has got to be its easy assembly. It comes together in just five minutes without tools which is a major difference from the 52 parts other frames need.

Laying flat against the wall, the Eva bed frame is quiet and won’t creak. It also raises your bed off the ground so you now have more places to organize your off-season wardrobe. There’s even a slat for your phone and a cable organizer.

Merging today’s complicated needs with the simplicity we all crave, it’s a smart design that’s won awards from Good Design and Reddot. Available in single, double, queen, king single, and king sizes, prices range from $900-$1,350.

Eva Home Hideaway Side Table Review

Side tables are a totally underrated piece of furniture. So much attention goes towards finding a couch but I think the right side table can change everything.

Made from sustainably sourced American oak and built to last, the Hideaway Side Table is one of those pieces. It’s quite a sturdy little table despite its simplicity, and to assemble it, all you’ll need to do is screw in the legs. Now, that’s my kind of table.

I also love that it has more storage than meets the eye. Open the top drawer to reveal separated compartments to keep things tidy. Pens go here, books go there, and cords stay organized. Great for the living room or a bedroom, get it for $350 and never buy another side table again.

Eva Home Eva Hemp Linen Sheets Review

Hemp’s superpowers have finally been recognized, and I’m so happy to be seeing it in all kinds of textiles lately.

The Eva Hemp Linen Sheets are made from organic hemp linen for a crisp and fancy feel that subtly softens over time. And if you’re a fan of color, you’ll love the six different hues they come in—like terracotta, mustard, and olive.

As for sustainability, hemp is one of the best materials you can choose. Plus, it’s naturally antibacterial and resists odors. Was there ever a more perfect material for sheets? I don’t think so. Long-lasting but biodegradable in the end, prices start at $250 and go up to $360. Sizes include double, queen, and king.

Who Is Eva Home For?

Eva Home Review

As previously mentioned, Eva furniture and bedding are designed “for a pretty simple life.” That means the brand sells functional pieces that work in any space and work together for a cohesive, fresh, and easy-going look. Plus, if you like sustainability and transparency when it comes to your furniture, I definitely think you’ll like this brand.

It’s also worth noting here that, right now, Eva’s products are only available for customers in Australia.

Eva Home Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Eva Home Review

You already know that Eva makes award-winning products, but what exactly is it that makes them so appealing? In this section of my Eva Home review, you’ll read a collection of comments and ratings that explain why.

My first stop for feedback was Eva.com.au, where I compiled a short list of ratings for some of the brand’s bestsellers.

  • Mattress: 4.8/5 stars from 3,054 reviews
  • Timber Bed Frame: 4.9/5 stars from 231 reviews
  • Hideaway Side Table: 4.7/5 stars from 13 reviews
  • Hemp Linen Sheets: 4.8/5 stars from 102 reviews

I’ll get to the feedback for the mattress a little further down in this Eva Home review. So to give you some variety, I checked out the comments for the Hemp Linen Sheets—even though I can clearly see that the mattress is the brand’s most popular product. Here’s what one customer had to say about the linen:

I personally like an amount of texture in my sheets, particularly that crisp feeling after washing, and these don’t disappoint. Softened well over a number of washes, definitely less scratchy than other linen I’ve experienced. Also very resistant to odour…these haven’t soiled anywhere nearly as much as cotton sheets.”

It sounds like the Hemp Linen sheets are everything the brand promises they are. Plus, I love that they’re made from a sustainable fabric but also that it’s one that resists smells. Up next, I turned to ProductReview.au for an overarching view of the Eva Mattress. There, 1,016 shoppers awarded it 4.5/5 stars. One wrote this positive review:

I have been so happy with the quality and comfort of the mattress that this is now our third Eva mattress to replace another old mattress and if any old mattress needs replacing in the future I know where we’ll be heading.”

Others mention getting better sleep, feeling less pain, and having more energy in the morning. The next Eva Home review we’ll look at is a prime example of this:

I had neck, back and hip pain daily prior to my purchase of an Eva hybrid queen mattress and would sleep with pain relief next to my bed. Since my purchase, which was so easy, ordered one day and it came the next, I am now sleeping through the night without pain and I am refreshed and bouncing out of bed ready to face the day.”

Honestly, it sounds like this mattress is a dream come true for many—no wonder it’s won so many awards. Another one of the brand’s award-winning products is the Timber Bed Frame. To see why it’s such a popular pick, I hit up an Eva Home review on Cosier. This is what the author had to say about it:

The Eva Timber Bed Frame scores excellent marks on performance. Almost everything has rounded edges, which minimises the 3am cursing when you knock your shins. There’s no squeaking or rattling, and the pieces are cut so precisely, nothing shifts.”

Okay, so the whole rounded edges thing is something I totally missed in my Eva Home review! That’s such an important point—especially because I’m somewhat spatially unaware (and have the bumps to prove it). Along with a solid, durable frame and easy assembly, it’s plain to see why the Timber Bed Frame is a go-to for so many seeking sustainable simplicity.

While I found a ton of glowing feedback for this Eva Home review, not all of it was positive, but that’s to be expected for any mattress brand. With different sleep preferences, no mattress will ever be a one-type-fits-all.

Is Eva Home Legit?

Eva Home Review

In terms of negative feedback and red flag reviews, I didn’t come across any that speak of the brand’s shipping or customer service at all. So, from what I can see, Eva is a legit brand that’s trusted for its well-made, sustainable products and prompt delivery

Plus, the fact that metro orders are delivered the next business day is kind of incredible. Overall, I found nothing that suggests that this brand is anything but outstanding. So all signs are clear for shopping with Eva.

Is Eva Home Worth It?

Eva Home Review

In the realm of mattresses and bedding, things can get a little stuffy. Cheap chipboard frames, polyester sheets, and toxic (not to mention expensive) mattresses are all too common.

Luckily, Eva breathes fresh air into the furniture and bedding industry—giving customers a totally transparent view of its materials, manufacturing, and company as a whole.

Those are things I really respect about the brand and why I think it’s worth shopping with

Add in the fact that its furniture looks great, is functional, and affordable, plus shipping is free, and it makes a lot of sense why everyone is talking about Eva. Now, if only it branched out to the US and Canada, we’d really be happy.

Eva Home Promotions & Discounts

Eva Home Review

No Eva Home review would be complete without a section on deals, so I scoped out the brand’s website to see what I could find. It turns out that Eva has a refer-a-friend program where you can get a $30 Visa gift card for every friend you refer. And they’ll get $10 to use towards an Eva Mattress or Timber Bed Frame.

Getting your study on? All students get $150 off the Eva Mattress through Student Beans.
