About Apothékary

Apothékary Supplements Review

Maybe it’s because I’m obsessed with all things wellness or that I’m trying to kick my coffee habit, but I keep seeing Apothékary pop up on my social feed. With its totally natural roster of ethical ingredients, delightful little bottles, and dreamy, creamy mixes, it was an easy follow.

Apothékary is a plant-based health and wellness brand offering 100+ herbal and adaptogenpacked blends. Focused on restoring balance to your life, the brand creates herbal remedies for common concerns like stress, focus, and immunity, alongside custom wellness routines.

Studies[1] shows that stressful situations can affect your immune system. These can range from childhood traumas to aging, and time and intensity are atenuants.

Developed from 5,000+ years of traditional medicine, their products cater to those looking for effective Eastern remedies made with potent, natural ingredients backed by modern science. In other words, Apothékary is for those serious about getting healthy in a way that fits their life.

Apothékary was founded in 2018 by wellness entrepreneur Shizu Okusa. Sprouting from Okusa’s healing journey with “Ayurveda, TCM and Japanese Kampo Medicine, rooted in over 5,000 years of science and tradition,” the company’s goal is to keep toxins out, opting for an all-natural ingredients list brimming with tried and true ingredients.

Peeking at its ingredients page revealed every single ingredient you’ll find within its line—from açai berry to sea buckthorn—along with a general description of what each one does, where it comes from, and what formulas you can find it in. I absolutely loved this feature.

Scanning the ingredients page told me that all of them are ethically-sourced, USDA Organic Certified, Fair-Trade, and non-GMO. To top it off, they’re also free from dairy, gluten, and sugar.

The company operates from its headquarters in Falls Church, Virginia and believes that “getting back to our roots and finding balance naturally is the best way to kick the quick fix and get well for good.

As you can probably tell, there’s a ton to unpack in this Apothékary products review. If you want the full scoop on this enlightened brand, I’ve got all of the details here. I’ll cover their most popular products, ingredients, customer ratings, promotions, and more. First, let’s talk about their pros and cons.

5 Best-Selling Apothékary Products

Digging through its trove of natural remedies, I learned that Apothékary’s collection targets numerous ailments of the mind and body. From stress and gut health to clean beauty and deep sleep, each intriguing formula made me think it’s high time I elevated my daily wellness.

From individual treatments to herbal bundles, I was invited to browse remedies by category, sets, or build my own farmacy. I particularly loved that as someone new to herbal medicine, I could order a taste test sampler of 5 popular blends, take the Find Your Fix Quiz, or book a consult to get the products I really need.

Skeptical about herbal medicine? There’s no need to be, but hesitation around trying new things is totally natural (pun intended). In an age of quick-fix remedies and over the counter pills, it’s easy to forget where medicine began.

Apothékary Mind Over Matter Review

Lately, my double espresso has me feeling everything but buzzed. Coffee is supposed to improve concentration, right? Instead, it’s making me totally anxious[2].

Mind Over Matter is a cool alternative to your morning cup. I read that this earthy, mushroom blend can actually reduce anxiety, brain fog, and overall stress. A potent combination of Lion’s Mane[3], Reishi, and Chaga mushrooms[4](aka nootropics) help support better brain health and cognitive function while coconut cream powder makes for a deliciously creamy brew.

I think it would be ideal daily or perfect for staying ahead of the game for meetings with your boss or studying for finals.

The Mind Over Matter mix is non-caffeinated yet energy boosting and can be added to your smoothies or shakes, or mixed in with hot water for a soothing AM sip. How does it taste? This triple mushroom blend has a naturally earthy and savory flavor.

Stay sharp throughout the day with this mind-boosting blend, available as:

  • 10 servings for $23
  • 12 servings for $25
  • 45 servings for $60

Customers say: “I like this blend very much, and have noticed better mental clarity when I take it everyday. Pairs well with a toddler of maple syrup & cinnamon in coffee.”

Apothékary Slay All Day Review

When I’m not feeling a strong cup of coffee, I reach for my matcha. I’m a long time lover of its subtly sweet, earthy flavor, mixing it with frothy oat milk for a hot morning treat.

Slay All Day can be your new cup of coffee, providing a well-balanced boost to your energy levels and immune system. It has classic matcha flavor and a creamy consistency that pairs well with hemp milk and bananas. Might I suggest mixing up an enhanced matcha latte before heading to the office and crushing those deadlines?

Here’s where Slay All Day beats out my plain matcha mix: It contains chlorella and ginseng[5], a mix that helps to boost your immunity and detoxify your system. Bursting with the antioxidant L-theanine from nutrient-rich organic Japanese matcha, you’ll feel both energized and calm—a yin and yang balance that coffee just can’t give. Pep up your morning with natural, healthy energy and Slay All Day for:

  • 10 servings for $23
  • 12 servings for $25
  • 45 servings for $60

Customers say: “I drink this everyday at lunch and it is incredible!! I have so much more energy to get through my afternoon classes and after-school rehearsals!

Apothékary Glow Getter Review

I definitely had the winter blues this year, realizing how much happier I felt when I finally saw the sun. Glow Getter is like the sun, delivering a unique anti-inflammatory combination along with a healthy dose of vitamin D[8].

What else is inside? Organic goji berry provides a vitamin C[8]
boost, while maca root naturally boosts your mood to lift the gloom of grey days—dark winters and stormy moods don’t have to feel never ending, you just need a herbal blend with the right ingredients.

Here’s one I don’t see everyday: Tocotrienols. From rice bran, these antioxidants contain both vitamin D and E[8], offering protection against rapid aging and deterioration caused by the sun. He Shou Wu provides healing support to the liver and kidneys as well. Combining with Tocotrienols, this blend helps to preserve youth by keeping your skin looking and feeling its best.

Are you thinking what I’m thinking? Damage control for sunbathing, hangovers, and the passing of time. Glow Getter is sweet and pairs well with fruit smoothies, but also shines on its own in plain or sparkling water. Get 12 servings of this multi-purpose wellness blend for $24.

Apothékary Chill The F* Out Review

Good advice, Apothékary, because lately, I’m anything but. It’s time to Chill The F* Out. This therapeutic blend targets serotonin and cortisol levels to help you find your zen.

Reishi mushroom and Ashwagandha join forces to counter stress and inflammation, so it’s no wonder why this is one of Apothékary’s most popular blends. I imagine all the stresses of work melting away in a cup of peppermint bliss—which just happens to be my favorite flavor. But here’s what makes me love it even more:

It totally take the edge off feeling stress. Whenever I’m agitated and ready to give it all up, I read that this blend could help me feel more balanced and is ideal for times of burnout—a huge topic in wellness right now.

Chill The F* Out is a treat for both you and your tastebuds, especially when combined with milk and sweetener. Hints of peppermint and chocolate make this blend a great addition to a nice cup of hot cocoa. Get this stress-busting elixir as:

  • 10 servings for $23
  • 12 servings for $25
  • 45 servings for $60

Customers say: “This is my favorite blend. It’s great mixed in a coffee alternative at any time of the day. Delicious and calming.

Apothékary Shatavari Review

Shatavari[9] is an ancient root that has helped multiple generations of women by promoting sexual health and regulating their hormonal system. From menstruation to menopause, this natural remedy can help manage estrogen production and boost libido.

In Sanskrit, I read that Shatavari translates to “a woman with a hundred husbands,” meaning you’ll have many helping hands when you’re dealing with cramps. Sounds like a dream to me.

Shatavari has a mix of bitter and sweet flavors, and the brand says it pairs well with nut-based milks, berries, and cinnamon. I’m dreaming of a warm hazelnut milk elixir. When combined with other Apothékary blends like Chill The F* Out or Glow Getter, it truly creates a routine fit for a queen. Get your regal root as:

  • 12 servings for $23
  • 45 servings for $52

Customers say: “I had added this into my coffee during my last period and my cramping seemed to be a bit less. It was pleasant tasting, almost like a creamer substitute. Definitely recommend if you are looking for a healthy way to manage PMS.

Who is Apothékary For?

The items highlighted in my Apothékary review imply that the brand is best suited for people who want natural or holistic care. Specifically, they’re tailored towards people who want digestive care, people who are managing stress, and those looking to improve their skin’s complexion.

Apothékary Products Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Apothekary Supplements Review

You may be wondering, is Apothékary legit? Well, I intend to reveal what customers honestly think of the brand right here. After buzzing around around the web for this part of my Apothékary products review, let’s start with what I discovered on Etsy.

On Etsy, the average item rating is 4.5/5 stars out of more than 300 reviews as of June 2023. One customer doubted the efficacy of Follow Your Gut, but is now an Apothékary convert:

I was very skeptical but willing to try almost anything. I have IBS and have tried every OTC and prescription probiotic you can name. I will be honest, I didn’t enjoy the taste, but now…I can say with certainty this stuff is worth the taste and works!”

Apothékary’s website features several thousand highly positive ratings as of June 2023. Overall, customers praised the high-quality products, natural ingredients, and effectiveness.

Apothekary Supplements Review

One user on Apothékary.co noted how well the License To Chill Set does its job: “It actually calms me down, and I get better quality sleep from this than I do taking prescription medication. It also leaves me less drowsy in the morning.”

Though I scanned through many of the thousands of flowing testimonials for this part of my Apothékary products review, I discovered a few complaints.

I should note that many of these issues came during the COVID pandemic—things like delayed shipments are no longer as common, if they happen at all.

While I won’t discount these issues, it’s important to note that the majority of customers enjoy their Apothékary blends. Overall, the feedback for this brand is off the charts. With thousands of 5-star reviews, it’s easy to see customers love what they get from Apothékary’s farmacy.

Are Apothékary Products Worth It?

Apothekary Supplements Review

Based on what I found during this Apothékary products review, I think their health and wellness products are certainly worth buying. I love that Apothékary is a woman and AAPI-owned business and that its remedies contain all-natural, organic, and high-quality ingredients—including popular ones used in Eastern medicine. These wholesome formulas are effective, according to many customers.

The products also heavily revolve around Ayurveda, the science of life. By taking the Apothékary Find My Fix Quiz, you can find the product that works best for you. Whether you’re looking for an anti-inflammatory, an energy boost, or anything in between, there’s likely an Apothékary treatment you can try.

At this point in my Apothékary products review, I must mention that wellness isn’t one-size-fits-all, it’s a journey. It may take you some time to find the products that work best, but with the tools and resources available from the brand, I think you won’t have much trouble.

Ultimately, if you’re looking for effective, holistic remedies to support health and wellness, Apothékary is a solid option. Embrace your natural roots and get back to basics with its fresh farmaceutical line.
