• Mentha Spicata (Spearmint) Leaf Oil: This uplifting ingredient is made from spearmint essential oil which has scalp-soothing properties. It can help increase circulation and cool down an inflamed scalp.
• Chamomilla Recutita: Derived from the ever-soothing chamomile plant, this botanical extract helps calm irritation and redness thanks to its high concentration of a-bisabolol.
• Rosmarinus Officinalis: Rosemary oil helps to stimulate the scalp to bring about a fresh, clean feeling.

Ok, so there are tons of ingredients in the CLEARSTEM Repair Conditioner, a little too many to include here. I suggest checking out the brand’s website for a complete list. What I will do here is highlight the star ingredients in the formula to showcase what they can do for your hair:

• Hydrolyzed Sweet Almond Seed Cake: This is a technology made from almonds that coats the hair shaft in a natural peptide. Improving tensile strength, it also prevents breakage and increases the appearance of shine and the feeling of health.
• Dimethicone PG-Sunflowerseedate: This ingredient is a hard worker, combining the sensorial benefits of straight-chain dimethicone and moisturizing sunflower seed. The result is moisturized hair that isn’t weighed down.
• Kokum Seed Butter: Non-comedogenic, this natural seed butter can improve hair moisture and prevent dryness even after you rinse it off.
• Helianthus Annuus (Sunflower) Seed Extract (and) C9-12 Alkane (and) Squalane (and) Argania Spinosa Kernel Oil (and) Citrullus Lanatus (Watermelon) Seed Oil (and) Coco-Caprylate/Caprate: This natural ingredient blend is quite the star, helping to increase hair-break strength and comb-ability when hair is wet and when it’s dry. It helps to repair hair at the cuticle which can also help to minimize frizz and breakage.
• Mentha Spicata (Spearmint) Leaf Oil: This lively aromatherapeutic scent is made from spearmint essential oil which has scalp-soothing properties to calm irritated, sensitive scalps.

The Repair Conditioner does not contain shea butter, coconut oil, and other pore-clogging ingredients found in most hair products. It is specifically formulated to be acne-safe to avoid breakouts on the back, neck, hairline, scalp, and cheeks.

CLEARSTEM Haircare Packaging

For me, the materials a product is packaged in are almost as important as the product itself. If the vessel isn’t environmentally friendly, for me, there’s less incentive for me to buy it. If you feel the same, you’ll be happy to hear that CLEARSTEM’s haircare packaging is recyclable. 

Made from polypropylene plastic, it can be rinsed and tossed in the blue bin. While I admit that glass is an even more sustainable option, I’ll take recyclable plastic over non-recyclable plastic any day. Plus, glass in the shower isn’t a safe idea. Their packaging is easy to grip which means you’ll have an easier time holding it with wet or soapy hands.

Who is CLEARSTEM Haircare For?

CLEARSTEM products are designed for people with acne and other skin concerns such as dry skill, dark spots, and signs of aging. Their haircare products are made with non-comedogenic oils that won’t block your skin’s pores. 

Clogged pores can lead to breakouts, which makes their haircare a great choice for those with acne-prone skin. What’s more, this haircare line is safe for sensitive skin, dermatologist-tested, and vegan, which also means it isn’t tested on animals.
