About Feature

Feature Sneaker Boutique Review

Feature is an urban streetwear retailer that sells 100% authentic high-end cult favourite apparel, sneakers, and accessories to both men and women. They create a chill and upbeat atmosphere for shoppers through the use of contemporary visual art and music.

The brand collaborates with and sells products by massive labels such as Adidas, Nike, Off-White, Commes des Garcons, Givenchy, G-Shock, and much more. Their approach to street style has earned them over 315k followers on Instagram, and nearly 29K followers on Facebook. And those numbers just keep climbing.

Feature’s media clout does not stop there, though, as the retailer has been mentioned by the Las Vegas Weekly, Las Vegas Sun, and other publications.

When there is a lot of buzz surrounding a label, it can be hard to tune out all the noise. This is where we step in. This Feature sneaker boutique review will cover the brand’s origins, some bestsellers, customer ratings, and more, to help you make an informed purchase.

Overview of Feature

Feature Sneaker Boutique Review

Feature was founded by Ej Luera and Ajay Bouri in 2010 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Their partnership started in a nightclub in Reno, where the two worked together: Luera was into DJ-ing and marketing, and Bouri was his fashion visionary coworker.

The two began their journey in retail by subleasing a corner of a women’s apparel boutique, in which they also sold trendy menswear. Although it closed, they eventually decided to invest money to open their own boutique in Vegas’ Chinatown, which then developed into Feature. The brand has since made a name selling cult favourite sneakers, apparel, and more to trendy socialites and cool kids.

Feature hypebeast products are 100% authentic because they acquire them directly from the brands themselves. They ship both domestically and internationally through their website, and they have three brick and mortar locations to this day—one in their original location in Chinatown, another in the famous Las Vegas Wynn Hotel, and the third in Calabasas, CA.

In an interview with Mr. Mag, Luera claims that “The Wynn experience is more elevated but the Chinatown store is a more authentic reflection of urban street culture and during conventions, people from all over come to check it out.”

Feature Shoes Review

If you need some fresh new kicks, then look no further than these picks from the Feature shoes line. This list contains sneaker collaborations with labels like Adidas, Converse, Nike, Ugg, and more

Feature Converse X Comme Des Garcons Play All Star Chuck ‘70 Review

Commes Des Garcons has a fun, edgy, rebellious flair to it that pairs so well with the classic silhouette of a pair of Chuck’s. Founded by Rei Kawakubo, this Japanese fashion label is immediately recognizable by its iconic red heart logo (designed by artist Filip Pagowski).

The heart is featured on these Converse sneakers, made of a canvas upper and a rubber outsole. You can buy these unisex collab sneaks in four colorways: black, cream, blue, and grey. Sizes range from 3–12 for men and 5-14  for women.

The company suggests that Chucks tend to run a bit large, so our Feature sneaker boutique review recommends ordering them half a size down. Find the Converse X Comme Des Garcons Play All Star Chuck ‘70 sneaks for $150

Feature Adidas Originals x South Park Campus 80s SP “Towelie” Review

This Campus 80s SP Towelie sneaker from Adidas features lace closure and the iconic 3-stripes on the side of the shoe. The talking towel from South Park has never looked so chic.

A unique twist is the lilac-colored towel fabricated upper that features Towelie’s eyes stitched onto the tongue of the shoe. And the coolest part is that, under UV light, the eyes change colour

The shoe is made to be ultra comfortable with traditional foam cushioning implemented within the midsole for a unique, snug, cozy fit. Feature states that, due to the limited nature of this product, all sales are final. Find the Towelie collab sneaker on the site for $100

Feature Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG – Sail/Dark Mocha Review

The Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG always stuns with the coolest colorways, from the crimson tints, to the obsidians, and everything in between. The silhouette is unmistakable with its leather upper and rubber outsole.

The sail/ dark mocha colorway takes the familiar black mocha color scheme and elevates it with suede blocks in a mocha color. Along with black lace and toe frame accents, these details contrast nicely with the white leather covering the body of the shoe.

The whole package comes together to create a clean, subtle, yet trendy looking kick. Feature sells the Air Jordan 1 Retro High OG on its site for $170

Feature Ugg Women’s Classic Short II Boot Review

I am sure that most of us remember when UGG boots really started to blow up. The comfy design could be seen everywhere in nearly every color. And that is what makes the Classic Short II Boot, well, classic. The upper is made of premium sheepskin, which features a leather brand tag placed on the suede heel counter.

A treadlite outsole provides comfort and durability, while a water repellency treatment ensures that the whole boot retains its integrity. Purchase the Classic Short II Boot in either grey, black, or tan, between sizes 5–10 for $170

Feature Clothing Review

You can’t serve looks with just a pair of sneakers—even though they do a lot of the heavy lifting if they are cool enough. In order to complete your look, we’ve highlighted some cult-favourite pieces from the Feature apparel collections.

Feature Comme Des Garcons Play Blue Eyes Red Heart T-Shirt Review

Here we have yet another iconic piece found in the Comme des Garcons Play line. A 100% cotton tee with a ribbed collar features the iconic brand heart logo in two different textures. The larger base heart is printed onto the shirt, while the smaller heart is embroidered over it.

You can purchase this unisex piece online, as well as in Feature’s Chinatown or Calabasas stores for $123. The sizes range between S–XXL. To add some color to the outfit, may we suggest throwing on a Feature ReadyMade Chain Bag before heading out the door?

Feature Comme Des Garcons Play Multi Heart Zip Sweatshirt Review

Comme Des Garcons Play strikes again, but this time, with a grey hoodie made of 100% cotton. This warm sweater is finished with a zipper closure and ribbed cuffs and hem. A tiny logo heart is embroidered onto the front of the piece—right over where the wearer’s own heart would be.

Several hearts and the words ‘PLAY; COMME des GARCONS’ are printed on the back. This hoodie is currently only available online in the sizes XS-L; the site recommends you size up, as CDG apparel runs small. Feature retails this piece for $291.

Feature Comme Des Garcons Play Kid’s Striped Long Sleeve T-Shirt Review

Even your kid can be ‘comme des garcons’ with this 100% cotton long sleeved tee, which features an alternating colored and white stripe pattern, a ribbed collar, and an embroidered CDG heart logo right on the left side of the chest.

Feature offers this kiddie shirt in green, black, blue, and red, in sizes 2,4, and 6. If you want to purchase it, you will have to look either online, or through the collection sold in their Chinatown location. The price tag on this piece is $90

Feature Stone Island Cargo Pants Review

Stone Island is an Italian luxury men’s apparel brand. It was founded in Ravarino, Italy by Massimo Osti. In late 2020, the brand was acquired by Moncler. Given its high-end background, it is no surprise that Stone Island elevates basic cargo pants to new levels with this design.

These Stone Island Cargo Pants are made from 97% cotton and 3% spandex, and they feature stitched branding and a rib stop waistband. They are comfortable enough to be worn in all conditions, and durable enough to withstand a range of elements and activities.

Shoppers can find them exclusively online in nine colors for $380; sizes range from 28–40. For styling ideas, we recommend pairing these cargo pants with an edgy Feature Rassvet Motorbike Tee.

Who is Feature For?

Comparison: Feature vs. The Webster

Feature Sneaker Boutique Review

Before Laure Heriard Dubreuil got to it, The Webster was the 20,000 square foot Webster Hotel, located in South Beach, Miami. In 2009, Dubreuil, who was a former merchandiser for Balenciaga and YSL, transformed the hotel and launched her women’s and men’s multi-brand luxury retailer.

The Webster boasts an impressive number of collaborations with brands like Off-White and Fenty, and stocks some of the most popular designer labels like Tom Ford, Balenciaga, Balmain, Chanel, Givenchy, Valentino, Fendi, Palm Angels, Amiri, and more.

Both The Webster and Feature offer domestic and international shipping. The former offers complimentary ground shipping on all US orders (in contrast, Feature requires a $150+ order to qualify for free shipping), and they are slightly more transparent about their shipping policies.

The Webster’s return policy is much more flexible as well, as they accept returns within 28 days from your receipt of delivery, while Feature gives you 14 days. The Webster has brick and mortar locations in Bal Harbour, Costa Mesa, Houston, LA, Sawgrass, Soho, South Beach, Miramar, and—coming soon—Toronto, making them much more physically accessible than Feature, which only has three locations, two of which are in Las Vegas.

How do their prices compare? Good question. Let’s look at a couple of items from each site side-by-side to find out. Both sites offer a black Balmain men’s hoodie made of 100% cotton, featuring a zip-up closure at the front. On The Webster, you will pay $1,400 for the piece, down from the original price of $2,750, while on Feature, you will pay $836, down from $1,195. Both sites have the exact same Fear of God Tennis Sneakers in ‘Cream’. The Webster sells them for $815, while Feature sells them for $595.

It all comes down to accessibility and personal preference. Feature might carry specific brands and collaborations that you’re interested in checking out. Their online articles and videos also make for an engaging shopping experience.

On the other hand, The Webster is more flexible about some of their policies but the price tags are steeper. So, where will you shop first?

Feature Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Feature Sneaker Boutique Review

This Feature sneaker boutique review wouldn’t be complete without looking at some customer feedback. For those who are curious to learn what people are saying about their purchases, we’ve compiled some comments from the company’s Facebook page, Trustpilot, and Wombly.

On Trustpilot, Feature is rated 2.3/5 stars out of a total of 48 reviews. There were some concerns around customer service, but we’ll get to those a bit later. The positive comments were mainly centred around Feature’s wide selection, luxury shopping experience, and the company’s blog and extras.

One buyer raved about the boutique’s Wynn location, “[The store] at Wynn Las Vegas is a must see. Good sneaker selection and Stone Island apparel. Store was busy on a Saturday evening but still got a chance to buy some tees. Definitely worth the walk if you’re staying near Encore.”

Another reviewer shared, “…ordered my pair of sneakers from them last Tuesday, paid for express to Australia…a week later it came! Truly a great smooth experience…I was really happy as I knew there could be some sort of delay from the States due to covid but nope, none whatsoever! Sneakers came in perfect condition, absolutely thrilled.”

While there are notable Feature sneaker boutique reviews on Facebook that outline some difficulties with exchanging or returning items, the company overall receives a decent score of 3.6/5 stars from 177 opinions. Customers who know exactly what to buy or are already familiar with their size at a chosen brand seem to run into the least amount of issues.

One customer writes, “All of my Vans showed up as they should have. I bought 5 pairs. All the correct sizes, new in the boxes, perfect. I’ve been looking for Vans Vault options and they had the most styles to choose from. Not disappointed at all, couldn’t be happier. I’ll definitely be placing another order!”

The comments on Wombly tell a similar story about Feature, with a rating of 3.5/ 6 stars out of 112 reviews. A buyer writes, “I ordered shoes I couldn’t find anywhere else and I got a great deal! Free shipping was very fast and I loved how they gave me updates on every update on shipping…Took about 3 days, will definitely be ordering from them again.”

Across the board, it seems that plenty of people enjoyed fast shipping and had a smooth experience in the stores. As a final note, this Feature sneaker boutique review highly recommends visiting their in-person locations, so that you can try on the clothing or footwear before placing an order.
