Overview of MiiR
After a skiing accident in his 20s, Bryan Papé realized that he didn’t want to leave the world without making a mark. While recovering, he noticed a void in the drinkware industry and saw an opportunity to improve how people carry water. This also gave him a chance to help people worldwide get clean drinking water.
MiiR launched in 2010 with “a social and environmental mission” that chooses people and the Earth over corporate motivation. The flagship store in Seattle offers high-quality stainless steelware made to be functional and, of course, sustainable.
The company is also a Certified B Corp, Climate Neutral certified, and part of the 1% for the Planet organization. In other words, they’re meeting high social and environmental standards and contributing 1% of sales to environmental causes.
Now that you know more about the brand, my MiiR review will start with some highlights:
- The company offers design-forward reusable water bottles, cups, and other drinkware for everyday use
- Climate Neutral and a Certified B Corp
- Well-received on and off the main website
- Free shipping for US orders with a minimum
- Offer a lifetime warranty and 30-day return policy
Whether you’re on a hike or just hanging out, staying hydrated is a must. Reusable MiiR cups, bottles, and canisters can keep your drink at the desired temperature while reducing your carbon footprint. So, keep reading my MiiR review to learn about functional and sustainable items.

MiiR Coffee Canister Review
Next in my MiiR review is the Coffee Canister. The company knows how to deal with caffeine, and it needs the right environment to stay fresh. This stainless steel vessel features an accordion-style seal that pushes out oxygen and locks in your coffee’s flavor. You won’t have to worry about stale beans with this bad boy.
This container holds up to 12oz of coffee beans, whole or ground. It also has a sleek design, available in black, white, and copper. So, you can easily match it with your kitchen decor or your trailer knick-knacks to keep your coffee strong and flavorful.
The MiiR Coffee Canister will run you $30 at checkout.
MiiR Water Bottle Review
I can’t continue without talking about the MiiR water bottles. They’re perfect for any adventure and are easy to stash away after taking a swig. So let’s get into it.
MiiR Bottle Wide Mouth Review
The Wide Mouth Bottle is the ultimate hydration station. It has double-wall insulation to keep your water ice cold and your tea piping hot. It also has a threaded lid, allowing for a leak-free experience. As a result, you can put it in your backpack without worrying about spills.
The bottle also doesn’t sweat, so you won’t have to worry about residue either. It can even carry ice for a few hours, and the 16oz and 20oz bottles are cup-holder compatible for your next road trip. Plus, with a BPA-free makeup, it’s almost a no-brainer.
You can get the Wide Mouth Bottle in four sizes, ranging from 16oz-42oz. It can cost you between $30-$45.
MiiR Tumbler Review
Last in my MiiR review is their stainless steel tumblers. They’re understated and invaluable for any of your favorite bevies.
MiiR Tumbler Review
The MiiR Tumbler doesn’t make any fuss. Like the other reusable MiiR items, it has double-wall insulation and is BPA-free. So, it’ll maintain your coffee’s or tea’s temperature perfectly without the usual metal aftertaste.
There’s nothing worse than catching coffee spills while walking to the office. Luckily, the included press-on lid can prevent unfortunate accidents, making it easy to integrate into your daily routine.
Sizes range from 6oz-24oz with prices between $16 and $35.
Who Is MiiR For?
MiiR’s reusable drinkware is great for adventurous and on-the-go folks. They’re functional and have sleek designs that look (and feel) cool. But, of course, if you’re working towards being more sustainable, their products and goals as a company will match up perfectly.
MiiR Reviews: What Do Customers Think?
Now we’re at the fun part of my MiiR review: the customer feedback. It just wouldn’t be the same without it. So, I searched the web for ratings and found some on the main website and Amazon.
There are a few criticisms, but I’ll get to that later. Here are the average ratings for our featured items:
- Camp Cup: 4.9/5 stars out of 1,571 ratings
- Coffee Canister: 4.4/5 stars out of 185 ratings
- Wide Mouth Bottle: 4.9/5 stars out of 537 ratings
- Tumbler: 4.9/5 stars out of 550 ratings
The Camp Cup is the most reviewed item, and for a good reason. Customers praise the quality and functionality, with one writing, “This cup keeps my morning latte perfectly warm & fits underneath my espresso machine. The thinner lip makes it enjoyable to drink from while the thicker insulation below keeps the coffee hot.”
Another reviewer says, “Customer service was super helpful in getting a replacement lid for my tumbler. I’ve had the tumbler for quite a while, so it was an older style. The new lid fits perfectly, and my tumbler no longer leaks.”
I also need to mention the Wide Mouth Bottle’s ratings. It received similar rave comments as a customer stated, “I have many Miir products – all are great! This is my favorite. Stays hot or cool (my favorite way to use it) for a couple of days if I don’t empty it and it’s doesn’t leak in my gym bag or purse.”
The bottle also gets excellent ratings on Amazon, with 4.7/5 stars from 463 reviews. One reviewer says, “I wanted an insulated bottle that was easy to clean (no bottle brush needed) and the same size as the throw-away plastic bottle…This one fits, holds plenty and keeps it cold. It’s easy to wash and looks good too!”
The Tumbler is also well-loved on Amazon, with 4.7/5 stars from 747 ratings. A reviewer writes, “Love this! It’s so hard to find small, reusable, sleek tumblers for coffee. Not everyone needs a gigantic cup of j – this is great for those of us who drink smaller amounts.”
As I mentioned, there are a few dismal MiiR reviews regarding the quality and customer service. Unfortunately, these comments go unanswered, but they are rare compared to the brand’s praise. Hopefully, everything gets solved behind the scenes.
Is MiiR Legit?
MiiR is legit. They receive a plethora of praise from customers and strive to be sustainable with their certifications. There aren’t many ratings that pose a red flag regarding shipping or customer service.
Is MiiR Worth It?
While it’s not entirely on our shoulders, trying to live sustainably and supporting environmentally-friendly companies brings us closer to a healthy planet. MiiR’s commitment to a happy Earth is evident in its products and core values.
Based on everything I’ve discovered during this MiiR review, I’d say the brand is worth the buy. Their drinkware is practical, well-made, and just plain stylish. Plus, their contribution to nonprofits and environmental initiatives is worthy of praise. So despite a few criticisms, you’ll be in good hands when buying a new tumbler.
