About Presto

Presto Pizzazz Review

Move over pizza ovens, the Presto Pizzazz is here. Well, technically it’s been here for over 20 years, launched in the summer of 2000 by National Presto Industries, Inc. The company itself has been kicking since 1905, known for its small appliances and housewares.

As for the Pizzazz, it’s a rotating countertop pizza oven that can handle wings, mozzarella sticks, and other tasty apps as well. Since you’re here reading this Presto Pizzazz review, there’s a good chance you’ve heard of its legendary pizza-making skills.

If not, I’ve packed the sections ahead with plenty of information about the Pizzazz, including feedback, promotions, and perhaps most importantly, where you can get one. Without further ado, let’s get started. The highlights are up first.

Presto Pizzazz Products Review

Presto makes a whole line of small kitchen appliances and products, but since this is a Presto Pizzazz review, I’ll be sticking to the details of its fast and easy pizza maker. You’ll find everything you need to know about it next.

Presto Pizzazz® Plus Review

When did pizzas start costing upwards of $30 delivered? Despite using some of the most affordable ingredients on the market, ordering a pizza isn’t a casual purchase anymore.

Because of that, many have dabbled in making their own at home or resorted to buying freezer pizzas instead.

For pizza parlor-worthy results, ditch your oven and try the Presto Pizzazz Plus. It’s the brand’s newest model of their ever-popular pizza maker, crisping up delicious pizzas in a matter of minutes.

The Pizzazz Plus doesn’t stop at just pies though. You can cook most convenience foods with it as well, think: game day appetizers and Friday night nibbles.

The Pizzazz delivers even cooking to all of your dishes thanks to its rotating tray that continually turns the pizza. It even has separate heating elements on the top and bottom for ultimate control.

That’s why you’ll never experience soggy bottoms or burned edges—this little appliance was born to create the perfect pizza

You’ll have yours in 11-14 minutes depending on how you like it. So why use the Pizzazz over a regular oven? Well for starters, it uses 60% less energy than conventional ovens. It’s also compact and ideal for those who maybe don’t have an oven (ie. students).

Accompanied by a removable nonstick baking pan, the entire cooking and cleaning process is a breeze. Get your very own Presto Pizzazz pizza maker for $90 along with a 1-year limited warranty.

What customers say: “I use this for every meal. I am in college and it makes life sooo easy no mess virtually no clean up and amazing food. Have yet to find something I cant use it on, I have made grilled cheese, frozen pizza, mozzi sticks, chicken, taquitos, toast, french fries, chicken fingers, reheat pizza, taco shells, anything frozen, the list goes on and on.” – Whitie02, BestBuy.com

Presto Baking Pan Review

When you order a Presto Pizzazz Pro, a Presto Baking Pan will come with your order. To make life even easier, you can order another one to have on hand and make additional pizzas one after the other.

The option to purchase a replacement pan is also handy if you should ever ruin yours. I’ve read that some customers have had the same pan for 5+ years, so though it’s a high-quality product, things happen. Grab one for $25.

Presto Cajun Pizza Recipe Review

Dreaming of pizza? If only you had the perfect pizza recipe. Oh wait, here it is, served up free of charge by Presto. Thanks, guys.

Ingredients:

  • 1 recipe Basic Pizza Dough + 1 ½ tbsp crushed red pepper mixed in
  • ½ cup diced onion
  • 1 rib of celery, trimmed and sliced ¼” thick
  • ½ large green pepper, sliced lengthwise into ½” slices
  • ½ lb Andouille sausage, sliced ¼”-½” thick

  • 1 cup canned crushed Italian tomatoes, drained well

Presto Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Presto Pizzazz Review

Would any Presto Pizzazz review be complete without feedback? I don’t think so. That’s why you’ll find a heap of it here, starting with some ratings from Amazon.

Overall, the Presto Pizzazz Plus is rated 4.7/5 stars based on 17,349 reviews. Wow. We’ll look at the snapshot first then at our first Presto Pizzazz review.

  • 5 stars: 84%
  • 4 stars: 9%
  • 3 stars: 3%
  • 2 stars: 1%
  • 1 star: 2%

This sweet baby makes even the cheapest pizza taste so good! I always add a little more cheese and pepperoni and the pizzazz has always cooked it to perfection. I only wish I could bake for longer than 20 minutes for some pizzas,” wrote one customer.

There’s an overwhelming response for the Pizzazz on Amazon, and I found similarly high reviews on Pizza Oven Radar too. This time, there are just 11 Presto Pizzazz reviews for the pizza maker, but all of them awarded it 5/5 stars.

One Presto Pizzazz review read, “I was using this Pizzazz pizza oven for the whole summer. At first I was suspicious about its open top which lacks a cover, but later I got used to it. Though you can’t cook an extra hot pizza with it, the pizza itself will be always evenly cooked.

On Best Buy, the Presto Pizzazz has 5/5 stars as well awarded by 3 customers. One said:

I’ve had this for about 5 years. Although it cooks a good fresh pizza, where it really shines is with frozens; specifically Freschetta/Degiorno rising crust style frozen pizzas. Follow the directions and this makes a soft, chewy crust, with a crisp bottom. Browns cheese and toppings perfectly. Very different than cooking in a typical home kitchen oven. Quick setup and cleaning. Highly recommended.

It’s clear that customers love using the Presto Pizzazz and it’s easy to see why. While it may not be perfect in every way, it’s obviously a valued appliance in more than a few home kitchens.

Is The Presto Pizzazz Worth It?

Presto Pizzazz Review

I was surprised at the feedback I found for this Presto Pizzazz review. I’ll admit I underestimated the pizza maker judging by its looks, but it turns out it’s very good at what it does—which is making crispy, delicious pizzas, by the way. Is it worth it? 100%.

How To Choose The Best Pizza Maker

Presto Pizzazz Review

Pizza making is a serious business. Therefore, finding the best pizza maker is not an easy task. I’ve included a few key points to consider before shopping though to help make the process more straightforward.

  • Size: Dreaming of giant, family-sized pies? Then you’ll want to pay attention to the size capacity of your pizza maker. Makers and ovens come in all different sizes, so be sure to suss out the size before buying.
  • Type: Are you looking for a pizza maker or a pizza oven? Something that sits on your countertop or one that will go outdoors? The Presto Pizzazz is a countertop indoor pizza maker.
  • Fuel type: If you’ve chosen a pizza oven, you should check out what kind of fuel it takes. To avoid messing around with wood chips, choose gas. For a smoky flavor, choose wood chips.
