About Baleaf

Baleaf Review

Are you someone who likes following fitness trends or discovering new sports and outdoor activities? Or maybe you’re the kind of person who’d never be able to choose between the summer and winter Olympics, because your athletic pursuits know no seasonal bounds!

While it’s great to stay adventurous and keep your exercise routine fresh, a wardrobe that can keep up with your active lifestyle can get expensive fast and take up precious space in your closet if you don’t shop smart. If you’re looking for a brand that can help you streamline your activewear with multi-use pieces, check out this Baleaf review.

Baleaf is a brand of affordable, quality sportswear with simple designs that are suitable for different fitness, sports, and outdoor activities. They ship all around the US and carry a variety of apparel for men, women, and even kids; so the whole family can even do all their favorite activities together.

While their presence may not yet rival that of legacy brands with familiar logos, Baleaf has grown an impressive following for their functional take on athletic dressing. The brand has 1k Facebook followers and 12.7k followers on Instagram. It has also been featured in travel and fitness media like Shape, Travel + Leisure, and Runner’s World.

If you’re looking for new threads that can take you from yoga to the baseball diamond to a few extra miles on your bike, my Baleaf review will introduce you to the brand’s history, their best-selling products, promos, and customer feedback to help you decide if they’re the brand for you.

Let’s suit up and take a closer look at Baleaf!

Overview of Baleaf

Baleaf Review

Baleaf was founded by Lefee Xu, the current CEO of Xiamen Dream Supply Chain Co. and an experienced e-commerce businessperson passionate about providing people with quality sportswear.

According to their website, Baleaf’s line of wallet-friendly, versatile sportswear hit the market in 2015. Baleaf is built on the principles of inclusion, accessibility and functionality via streamlined designs and affordability. The brand’s mission contains four elements:

  1. Co-create a better active lifestyle!
  2. To unleash your mind, body & soul.
  3. To create a better active lifestyle for the 99%”
  4. To lower the manufacturing industry’s carbon footprint.

According to the team behind the brand, many of us only make use of about 20% of the clothes we own, meaning the rest sit in our closets. Sportswear can be even more impractical, with every activity having its own dedicated wardrobe.

Baleaf recognized that the average person would be better served by having a few pieces in fabrics that could go from activity to activity – why can’t you have durable, stretchy leggings that are also waterproof, or a sun-repelling golf shirt that’s also breathable enough for a run?

They also saw that they could help reduce the environmental impact of manufacturing by making fewer products that served more needs, keeping costs low on both wallets and the planet.

Baleaf also recognized that there wasn’t enough size diversity in the athleticwear market. To remedy this, they manufacture all of their clothes in sizes XS-3XL for both men and women, and in petite, tall, and extra tall options.

Now that my Baleaf review has shared a bit more about the brand’s basics, let’s look at some of the highlights of shopping with this inclusive activewear brand.

Let’s take a closer look!

Baleaf Women’s Review

Size, color, function – there’s a lot to take into account when buying the right workout clothes. Luckily, you’ll have no shortage of options when buying any of Baleaf’s women’s pieces.

To give you a sense of what I’ll be covering in this Baleaf review, these are the best-sellers I’ll be considering: the Laureate 28” Thermal Leggings, Triumph 28” Thermal Water-Resistant Pants, and Laureate Jacquard Thermal Pullover.

Baleaf Laureate 28″ Thermal Leggings Review

Whether you’re going to a pilates class, out for a run, or doing any other activity that requires a flexible yet sturdy material, you’ll find a great match in the Laureate 28” Thermal Leggings.

Their blend of polyester and spandex will bend and flex as needed, wick away moisture, and allow your skin to breathe while still resisting water

These Baleaf leggings will also help keep you warm with a brushed fleece lining and have been tested by the brand to guarantee they won’t split or become see-through when you move and squat.

You’ll find the guesseted crotch and body contouring flatlock seams work with the high rise cut to ensure a secure yet comfortable fit. Plus, there’s a zippered pocket at the back for holding any small items you need with you.

These leggings hit the ankles at 28” long, and come in sizes XS-3XL.

Priced at $33, you can get a pair of the Laureate 28” Thermal Leggings in black, green, red, brown, and a few different shades of blue and gray.

Baleaf Triumph 28″ Thermal Water-Resistant Pants Review

Baleaf Triumph 28" Thermal Water-Resistant Pants

Leggings are a standard go-to in the workout world, but sometimes you just need to go with pants, especially for outdoor activities that might involve water or snow. In those moments, you can’t go wrong with the Triumph 28” Thermal Water-Resistant Pants.

Think of these slightly tapered, ankle-length pants as light snow pants. Their polyester/spandex fabric blend repels moisture and the waffle-knit fleece lining helps you stay warm without feeling stuffy.

You can also adjust the waist as you see fit with a back-cinched waistband. You can also adjust the legs for a looser or tighter fit (perfect for ensuring they stay tucked into your boots), thanks to the ankle zippers.

Speaking of zippers, these pants have no shortage of pockets if you need to bring along a few things for a nature hike. You’ll find three zippered pockets between the front and right thigh, along with a pair of sturdy velcro pockets at the back.

You can pick up the Triumph 28” Thermal Water-Resistant Pants in navy, pink, green, gray, or black, in sizes XS-2XL. A pair retails for $42.

Baleaf Laureate Jacquard Thermal Pullover Review

If you’re expecting a lot of windy or chilly conditions while you’re out having fun, try on the Laureate Jacquard Thermal Pullover.

Like many of Baleaf’s thermal pieces, this long-sleeved shirt is made from a breathable, moisture-wicking polyester/spandex blend, but has a nice brushed fleece lining to keep you warm and protected from cold and damp conditions.

You’ll also find this balance of warm and breathable extends to the high collar and half zipper. They keep the pullover cozy and secured, but are still easy to modify, undo, or take off whenever you need to get a little air.

Armed with two zippered side pockets and available in sizes XS-3XL, it’s the perfect everyday outdoor covering.

You can get the Laureate Jacquard Thermal Pullover for $37 in  black, white, gray, red, or violet.

Baleaf Men’s Review

Who says you can’t sweat and look good doing it? It’s not just the womenswear that’s on point at Baleaf; the men have a great selection to choose from, too!

For this Baleaf review, I’ll be looking at the best-selling Triumph UPF50+ Sun Shirt, Laureate Thermal Water-Resistant Tights, and Laureate Ultra Light 5” 2-in-1 Shorts.

Baleaf Triumph UPF50+ Sun Shirt Review

If your activities take place in the direct sunlight and you need to cover up without roasting, the Triumph UPF50+ Sun Shirt is a great solution.

This shirt’s polyester fabric blocks most harmful rays with its UPF 50+ protection, yet still allows you to breathe and keeps moisture off your body. And if you encounter any rain, water, or just break a major sweat, it’s made to dry super fast.

You’ll cut a strapping figure with the crewneck and long raglan sleeves, which offer plenty of stretch and flexibility for your more acrobatic activities. It also comes in a rainbow of colors, including blues, grays, greens, black and white.

You can grab the Triumph UPF50+ Sun Shirt for a mere $19 in sizes S-3XL.

Baleaf Laureate Thermal Water-Resistant Tights Review

Proud of never skipping leg day? Why not strut your stuff and show the world your results in the Laureate Thermal Water-Resistant Tights!

The elastic waistband and flatlock seams will ensure you’ll get a supportive, body-hugging fit that can show off your muscle definition while still keeping you comfortable.

Their polyester and spandex fabric blend with brushed fleece lining provide water resistance and keep your legs from getting chilly, while still letting your body breathe. These thermal leggings also come equipped with two side and two inner pockets to bring along whatever you need.

You can get the Laureate Thermal Water-Resistant Tights in S-2XL, in black, green, navy, or gray. A pair costs just $31.

Baleaf Laureate Ultra Light 5″ 2-in-1 Shorts Review

One should never underestimate the importance of quality when it comes to your basic gym shorts. The Laureate Ultra Light 5” 2-in-1 Shorts are a basic, everyday, everywhere short that are built to last and suit nearly any activity you can think of.

Like  most of the other pieces in this Baleaf review, these shorts are built with a polyester/spandex fabric blend that wicks moisture and can dry fast. They also have a built-in mesh brief (hence the 2-in-1) to help keep you cool and supported. Best of all, they’re lightweight, so you can be as nimble as you need to be.

This above-the-knee short comes equipped with two side pockets and a zippered back pocket for phones, plus an elastic waistband with drawstring for a secure fit

These Baleaf shorts come in a huge selection of colors ranging from warm red, orange and yellow to cool blues, greens and violets, as well as neutral black, grey, and white. They also have a reflective strip to help keep you visible if you hit the street for a midnight run.

Laureate Ultra Light 5” 2-in-1 Shorts can be yours for just $22, in sizes S to 3XL.
