Sadly, in spite of these positive reviews, I have to mention some negative Bodum customer reviews I found online. People comaplined about Bodum’s less-than-satisfactory communication skills, in some cases saying that the company never responded to their emails. The other main criticism was that Bodum’s products were subpar.
Despite those complaints, there were still a large number of customers who reported good conversations with Bodum’s customer service representatives, such as this shopper:
“Had a good experience with customer service…While unpacking, saw a small defect on one of the 0.25 glasses, contacted customer support through the website (attached picture of the faulty glass), got a fast response (made an inquiry in the evening, responded in the morning next day), they sent me a pack of two 0.25 glasses to replace a faulty 0.25 glass.”
In fact, there were more than a couple of Bodum reviews that singled out the company’s proficiency at replacing products in the event that they were damaged. Many of these testimonials reported speedy turnaround times and fast responses.
Another customer wrote: “I had an extremely good experience with the company. I had ordered a hot water can and had not opened it for three months. When I opened it, I realized that it was broken. I sent an email about it not having much hope but they responded immediately and sent me a replacement within one week.”
They finished by adding: “I am super happy about the quality of Bodum and also their after-service quality.”
