About Epicure

Epicure Review

Epicure believes that we all deserve to eat better and live healthy lives. Considering 1 in 2 adults is overweight, finding a way to eat healthier is incredibly important. The problem? Healthy food has a bad rap for being bland and boring. That’s until Epicure had anything to say about it.

Using real, whole foods, gluten-free ingredients, and delicious spices, Epicure makes gluten-free, healthy living easy and offers a selection of meal solutions, desserts, and drinks. It also has an entire section of cookware should you need some super smart utensils, pots, or prep tools.

I’ve given you but a taste of what this brand has to offer. Coming up in this Epicure review, I’ll deliver a four-course meal of their selections–including feedback, promotions, and more. Our first amuse bouche? The highlights.

Epicure’s Mission

Epicure Review

Epicure is on a mission to put good food on everyone’s table. They define “good food” as that with whole, natural ingredients and mindful of sugar, fat, and salt. Inspiring others to eat consciously, their meal, dessert, and drink mixes may skimp on preservatives, but they never skimp on flavor! Many of their products are Kosher, Halal, and vegan, while all of them are gluten-free. 85% of their meals are non-GMO and you’ll find a ton of organic ingredients packed inside.

**A note on how gluten-free their food really is: Epicure’s products are triple-tested to ensure they are 100% gluten-free. They are also made in a peanut-free facility.

Epicure Review

Epicure has a collection of meal solutions, desserts, drinks, and cookware in their collection, providing not only the food but also the means to cook it. I should note here that their meal solutions aren’t fully ready to heat and eat meals–they’re package mixes of delicious spices and nutritious ingredients that you cook with meat, veggies, and healthy grains. Let’s take a look at their selection.

Epicure Meal Solutions Review

Epicure Review

Love cooking but don’t have the time? Want easy meals with great ingredients? These classic favorites are sure to tickle your fancy. Epicure has a wide range of tasty meal mixes to whip up lunch and dinner in a pinch. Here are a few of their best-sellers:

Honey Garlic Meatball Seasoning Review

Epicure Review

One of the most popular items in the Meal Solutions categories is the Honey Garlic Meatball Seasoning. Perfect to create sweet and savory meatballs to serve on top of mashed potatoes or as a perfect addition to game day, this delicious mix is made with organic tamari and organic coconut sugar to create an umami-meets-lick-smacking flavor. A pack of 3x 3.5 oz packets is $13.95.

Alfredo Sauce Mix Review

Epicure Review

Another popular pick is the Alfredo Sauce Mix. Traditional store-bought Alfredo sauces are seldom gluten-free, so I appreciate that this one is. Plus, since it’s a dry powder, it stores easily in your pantry and won’t take up a lot of space. Grab a pack of 3 for $13.95.

Mac & Cheese Seasoning Review

Epicure Review

One of the most popular recipes of all? It’s Mac & Cheese, which, when I think about it is really a no-brainer. This powder mix turns into a lusciously creamy sauce with your choice of milk, pasta, and butter. The ingredients are simple and this product is both nut-free and kosher. Like the other two products in this section of my Epicure review, you can get 3 packs of this cheesy mix for $13.95.

Epicure Desserts & Baking Review

Epicure Review

What’s dinner without a little dessert? Epicure has a tantalizing collection of baking spices and dessert mixes to help you whip up something sweet without worrying about overindulging. Some fan-favorites include:

Happy Birthday Cake Review

Epicure Review

Made with surprisingly simple ingredients, this gluten-free cake bakes up just like the traditional boxcakes you used to eat. The main difference? Instead of 70 ingredients, it has only 7. Shoppers say it bakes up great and is yummy. What more could you ask for? Oh, the Happy Birthday Cake is also vegan, non-GMO, and nut-free. Grab a 2-pack for $13.

Sweet Banana Bread & Muffin Mix Review

Epicure Review

There’s nothing quite like enjoying a slice of banana bread on a cool fall morning. This gluten-free, vegan Sweet Banana Bread & Muffin mix is super simple and can even be baked in the microwave. With just 6 grams of sugar per serving, it’s the perfect level of sweetness and won’t make you think you’ve eaten cake for breakfast. A 2-pack is $13.

Summer Berry Sweet Dip Mix Review

Epicure Review

Made with real raspberries and strawberries, the Summer Berry Sweet Did Mix is light and fruity, hinted with the flavors of hibiscus and rooibos tea. To make the perfect, low-sugar dip, combine it with the yogurt of your choosing and enjoy it with fresh fruit or create ice pops. Yum! A 4.3 oz jar is $10.50.

Epicure Cookware Review

Epicure Review

Epicure has a fun collection of stainless steel and silicone cookware. Including everything you need to whip up a delicious meal or dessert, you’ll find baking trays, air frothers, mandolins, and Woks in this collection. I’ll list a few of their most popular picks below.

  • Multipurpose Steamer. So practical. Get it for $63.

Epicure Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Epicure Review

Almost every product on has ample feedback, and as a reviewer, I appreciate all the feedback I can find. It helps me find out exactly what customers think about the brand and what its products taste like. I’ll highlight a few of the best-sellers on the brand’s website here first in this section of my Epicure review.

  • Crispy & Crunchy Coating Mix (Pack of 3): 4.8/5 stars, 53 reviews
  • Butter Chicken Seasoning: 4.8/5 stars, 53 reviews
  • Beef & Broccoli Stirfry: 4.9/5 stars, 51 reviews
  • Honey Garlic Meatball Seasoning: 5/5 stars, 71 reviews

Of the Crispy Crunchy Coating, one shopper wrote, “So good that we are looking forward to cooking this chicken meal once again,” while another said, “All the other GF coatings get mushy but these stay crunchy and taste great!

As a gluten-intolerant person, your options are limited for crispy coatings. It’s nice to know that this one is truly crispy and delicious!

Of the Butter Chicken Seasoning, one home cook wrote, “My family loves this sauce. It’s not too spicy for kids and we always add carrots and broccoli to the dish. Packs a flavour punch that will keep you coming back for seconds and thirds!”–another excellent message that Epicure makes delicious meal packs!

On, quite a few of Epicure’s products have been reviewed. Let’s take a look at the 3 Onion Dip Mix which had a 4.8/5 star score among 17 reviews. By the way, 100% of them said they loved it, but here’s one piece of feedback for a little more information:

This product is so fresh and tastes like you just chopped up fresh onions. Only 5 mg of sodium, in comparison to other onion soup mix products that have approximately 650 mg of sodium in 1/4 of one packet. This is a must have for everyday cooking!

It’s so difficult to find a flavor-enhancing product with minimal sodium. Epicure for the win!

In an Epicure review on a blog called The Heart Dietician, the author says, “If your goal is to get everyone at the table at the same time, enjoy the same meal on days when you need to work late or drive the kids places… you need shortcuts like Epicure to help.

The Heart Dietician approaches their Epicure review from the standpoint of saving time and money. It’s cheaper and healthier than takeout, it’s something easy to cook in 15 minutes when you come home after a long day, and it tastes great.

There appears to be a lot going for Epicure according to its many customers, and while you won’t eliminate grocery shopping altogether (you still need to buy the meat and veggies), it will pull your meals together and will even help you meal plan for the week.

Is Epicure Legit?

Epicure Review

Epicure is 100% legit. There are some comments about the way Epicure is structured (anyone can sign up to be an Epicure Ambassador to earn money and receive discounts), but you can also purchase directly from their website without a middleman involved. There’s nothing fishy about this brand though. Its meal solutions are tasty and the ingredients are great.

Is Epicure Worth It?

Epicure Review

While I don’t personally suffer from a gluten allergy, I know many that do. I also know how extreme gluten allergies can be and how important it is to be 100% sure that food is 100% gluten-free. I appreciate that about Epicure. With a wide range of options for all types of diets, they make it super easy to follow a gluten-free diet without the need to religiously check labels in the grocery store.

Something else I love? How clean their meals, desserts, and drinks are. Limiting processed food and being conscious about ingredients often means eating blandly. Epicure proves that doesn’t have to be the case. What’s more, their meals are actually delicious and packed with a blend of healthy, celiac-safe spices. In other words, yes I do believe that Epicure is worth it if you’re gluten-intolerant or simply looking to eat better.
