Real Estate Express is an online course that helps you earn or supplement a real estate license. It provides busy people an accessible way to learn and complete their education in this field.

The online real estate course is also accredited by official organizations, including The Association of Real Estate License Law Officials (ARELLO) and the International Distance Education Certification Center. Both are leading organizations in real estate and education.

Are you looking to expand your knowledge and get certified? My Real Estate Express review can help you out. Keep reading to find out more about the company, its courses, and policies so you can decide if it’s worth the investment.

Overview of Real Estate Express

Real Estate Express Review

Real Estate Express began developing online real estate education in 1996. From the start, they wanted to be the leading brand for helping people acquire their license.

The company has been able to help over 520k future real estate professionals reach their goals through their mission to “help customers achieve more in their careers.”

In 2011, they amped up their courses to help more professionals pass their real estate exams. In the following year, the company branched out to Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, and more. By 2013, nearly 200k real estate agents had been trained by their instructors.

The story continues—as in 2014, Real Estate Express partnered up with Colibri Real Estate, which included several other education brands. In the following years, they created a sister company. They even came up with a new brand identity, with head offices located in St Louis, Missouri.

So with the brand’s history out of the way, my Real Estate Express review will now go over some highlights.

Highlights

  • Accessible and flexible online courses for busy individuals
  • Certified to offer real estate education and instruction
  • Livestream classes available with easy access to instructors
  • Offers exam prep and study guides
  • Budget-friendly compared to other brands
  • Pass or Don’t Pay Guarantee

In this Real Estate Express review I’ll go over how the courses work, pricing details, and the different classes they offer in the following few sections. That way, you’ll be able to decide if the hype is justified.

With the shift from in-person to remote learning and working, Real Estate Express is definitely one of the leaders in the practice. Read on to find out more!

As I said, many of us have made the shift to online learning and working in the past couple of years. So, that makes Real Estate Express perfect for studying from home. They offer pre-license education, exam prep, and continuing education for real estate professionals looking to learn more about their profession.

Unfortunately, it’s only available in 33 states. The signup process is pretty simple, but I’ll get into that in the later sections of this Real Estate Express review!

Who Is Real Estate Express For?

Real Estate Express Review

Real Estate Express is perfect for aspiring real estate agents. They provide you with the courses and tools to prepare for and pass your license exam. It’s also ideal for current real estate professionals who want to continue their education.

Plus, if you’re looking for a flexible course that you can take on your own terms, the online education platform is perfect for you.

How Does Real Estate Express Work?

Real Estate Express Review

As I mentioned in this Real Estate Express review, you’ll find signing up to be a breezy process. First, you choose your preferred course package. Then, provide some personal info along with a payment method. After that, the process doesn’t take too long at all.

After verifying your email address, you go through completing the course agreements and reading over the terms of service. If you don’t have any livestream classes, the courses are presented in text and image formats. This is great if you excel through independent learning.

Once you’ve finished your courses, you’ve gotten through the first step: completing your pre-licensing education. Basically, as an aspiring agent, the pre-licensing courses are required from an approved school like Real Estate Express. Once you’ve finished, collect your transcripts or certificate ready to complete your license application.

Next, Real Estate Express can help you pass your real estate exam. You might receive questions on the exam that weren’t covered in class, so the company’s exam prep programs can help with that by asking state-specific exam questions

Finally, you’ll be able to jump-start your real estate career once you pass the final exam. You’ll be able to work with a broker who will be able to help you out on the rest of your professional journey.

How Much Does Real Estate Express Cost?

Real Estate Express Review

Of course, these classes require financial and time investments. Financially, costs for Real Estate Express depend on a few factors:

  • Your home state
  • How far into the real estate education process you are
  • How much you’re willing to spend

Regarding home state, I’ll look at the costs for class in New York as an example. The company’s website states that pre-licensing, courses, and training can have an estimated cost of $100 or more

Of course, online learning is generally cheaper than in-person classes. For potential New York students, it’ll cost about $309 for an introductory licensing course. This includes a 75-hour pre-license course, instructor support, and three real estate eBooks.

If you want to add all the bells and whistles like exam prep and study aids, costs can range between $364 and $500. Once you’re done with classes, Real Estate Express estimates that exam fees could be up to $325 or more. This includes an application fee, background checks, and fingerprinting. Keep in mind, though, prices will vary depending on your home state!

Additionally, if you’re already licensed, you can take continuing education courses with Real Estate Express’ partner, McKissock. Continuing education courses in your chosen state will cost about $130–$169.

Real Estate Express Continuing Education Review

Next up in this Real Estate Express review, I’ll be looking at their Continuing Education program. The company’s courses were created to help you enhance your industry abilities. Like the broker program, it may help you earn more money and get an edge over competitors.

Real Estate Express emphasizes that their Continuing Education course is easy and convenient. Their instructors have plenty of experience, and they do well in making sure you get what you need. The curriculum’s goal is to advance your hands-on skills so you can make a splash in your space.

As I said earlier, Real Estate Express partners with McKissock Learning for their continuing education courses. Of course, this depends on the state you’re living in. Regardless, you’re still able to receive the best real estate education possible, all from the comfort of your home office or living room couch.

Real Estate Express Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Real Estate Express Review

Now that we’ve gone through the process and the available courses, let’s get some customer feedback. To round out this Real Estate Express review I scoured the internet for testimonials and found some on the main site, Agent Advice and Consumer Affairs.

The certified school has a 4.4/5 star rating on their website from 768 reviews. Professionals and students have nothing but good things to say about the company. One reviewer writes, “Enrollment was easy. The customer service people were attentive. The instructor provided excellent feedback to questions.”

Another reviewer praises the Exam Prep Master, stating, “The Exam Prep Master was an excellent choice as it helped me pass the state exam on the first attempt. I went through the 4-hour state exam within one hour and 45 minutes. The prep was very close in the type of questions that were on the licensing exam. I would recommend the Prep Master again.”

Another happy student writes, “The Exam Prep Master was my favorite tool. I know I passed my exam the first time because of that alone! I love the wealth of practice questions are given. It made me feel certain that I could pass. I was not nervous during my test because of this tool!”

A Floridian agent writes, “I really liked that I could take my time, and if I didn’t fully understand something, I could go back and review as many times as needed. I also liked that it was an easy course to navigate. I use Real Estate Express for all of my continuing education.”

The company gets third-party love, too. For example, a reviewer on Agent Advice writes, “It was all spot on, on both the national and state portion, and had all the right information I needed to pass.”

Additionally, here’s how the real estate school rates on our chosen third-party sites:

  • Agent Advice: 3.83/5 stars from 83 reviews
  • Consumer Affairs: 1-2/5 stars from 3 reviews

Some customers had criticisms—for example, we came across a few complaints regarding the lack of communication with instructors, grammar errors in readings, and broad concepts that aren’t state-specific.

So, it does look like the reviews for Real Estate Express are a mixed bag. Regardless, the company offers a refund for anyone who doesn’t pass their license exams!
