About Rigby and Peller

Rigby and Peller Review

There’s nothing that feels better than a piece of clothing that seems like it was made for you, whether that be a pair of pants, a wool sweater, or underwear.

Rigby and Peller understand that. They’re a luxury women’s underwear brand that reports that their products fit unlike anything else on the market.

Their royal heritage, over 5k followers on Instagram, and lofty price tags seem to indicate that’s the case. What you’ll find out in my Rigby and Peller review is whether or not they can fit you well. I’ll cover:

  • The brand’s history
  • Some of their best-selling bras
  • Their prices
  • What customers have to say about them
  • Where you can buy their products

Overview Of Rigby and Peller

Rigby and Peller Review

Rigby and Peller approach bras much like how a writer approaches a novel. They focus on the small components to create an overall better product.

Much like how a novel is just a collection of expertly paced and planned chapters, Rigby and Peller’s bras are composed of over 40 delicate components. The brand’s attention to detail results in bras that are cozy and complete.

Also, Rigby and Peller offers a virtual shopping experience. Before you sigh and say that that’s the whole point of online shopping, I’m not talking about adding items to your cart and then checking out.

It’s closer to a personal one-on-one private shopping tour with one of the brand’s stylists, except virtually. You can book an appointment for a video chat for free and the sessions last 90 minutes.

The London-based brand has been around since 1939. However, it was their contributions to the queen that made them noteworthy.

They made personalized items for Queen Elizabeth II, who then spread her praise to other members of the royal family. Due to her satisfaction with their garments, Rigby and Peller gained a reputation for providing a regal feel.

This royal feel is evident from the company’s detail-oriented manufacturing that I just mentioned. Speaking of details, let’s go deeper into the details of this Rigby and Peller review after I cover the brand’s highlights:

Highlights

  • High-cost but high value
  • Formerly designed undergarments for the royal family
  • Sizes are tailored to all body types (A to K cup)
  • Free shipping on all orders over $150
  • Bespoke virtual shopping experience

While I’ve already mentioned in brief what this brand distributes in this Rigby and Peller review, I want to give you a complete image of their catalog. Their inventory breaks down into these categories:

  1. Lingerie
  2. Swimwear
  3. Sportswear

In each of these categories, Rigby and Peller makes bras and bottoms. They also make bodysuits, cover-ups, wedding night lingerie, and other items that would fall into two or more of their categories.

Rigby and Peller Bra Review

Despite the brand’s robust product selection, I’ll focus on their bras in this Rigby and Peller review.

That’s where the majority of their effort goes and considering that they’re renowned for comfortable, cute, and all-sizes accommodating bras, it’s the best way to showcase why you may want to shop with them.

Rigby and Peller PrimaDonna Madison Review

The first of the Rigby and Peller bras I chose to feature features no padding but a full cup support system.

The Rigby and Peller PrimaDonna Madison brings a notable shape to your breasts while keeping them tighter to your body for a stronger hold. It comes in four colorways; bronze, black, blue, and latte.

The Rigby and Peller PrimaDonna Madison is available in sizes 34C to 42H. It starts at $148.

Rigby and Peller PrimaDonna Arthill Review

The next bra in this Rigby and Peller review is a three-piece affair. Bras of this style have an underwire lining but a double-material lining on the breasts.

The top of the Rigby and Peller PrimaDonna Arthill is made from sheer for a translucent appearance while the bottom uses double-lined tulle for firmness.

The Rigby and Peller PrimaDonna Arthill also comes in a plethora of sizes, ranging all the way from 34C to 44H. You can grab it in black for $169.

Rigby and Peller Marie Jo Nathy Review

The Rigby and Peller Marie Jo Nathy provides a nice polo of color like raspberries in a pitcher of water at a cafe. It’s an underwire bra with a standard shape and design. However, the deep neckline and flowery ornament nudge it beyond other standard-fare brassieres.

Of all the bras I’ve written about in this Rigby and Peller review, the Rigby and Peller Marie Jo Nathy is both the more affordable (by a very slight amount) and the best for women with smaller breasts. It runs from sizes 32A to 36E and costs $146.

Rigby and Peller PrimaDonna Deauville Review

Last but not least is the Rigby and Peller PrimaDonna Deauville, a bra that uses intelligent design as a means to support and accentuate your bust.

The deeper cups give a larger helping hand than regular cup sizes when it comes to support. Meanwhile, the side panels push your breasts inwards, subtlety though, to encourage cleavage.

This bra comes from the most popular line in Rigby and Peller’s inventory and it’s not hard to see why. Besides its flattering properties, it also runs in most sizes and comes in seven enchanting colorways.

You can pick up the Rigby and Peller PrimaDonna Deauville for $149.

Who Is Rigby and Peller For?

Rigby and Peller Review

Rigby and Peller is for women who want bras that are made for their bodies, rather than having to compromise their bodies for bras.

Rigby and Peller Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Rigby and Peller Review

Seeing as how Riby and Peller formed served royalty, I wanted to see if customers felt that the company gave them the same royal treatment. As such, I looked at Rigby and Peller reviews from a few different websites. Here are the aggregate stores I found:

  • Yelp: 4.5/5 stars based on more than 10 pieces of customer feedback on their New York location
  • Trip Advisor: 3.5/5 stars based on more than 40 pieces of customer feedback on their London location
  • TrustPilot: 3.4/5 stars based on more than 20 pieces of customer feedback

As you can see, the majority of Rigby and Peller reviews were written about the brand’s retail locations. That’s because that’s where they primarily conduct their business. Their efforts were appreciated by shoppers who left many positive comments about their expertise and products

Amazing service! My stylist was Veronica and she shared very handy tips about sizes and fits and how to find a perfect match. I looked for swimwear and my stylist did not only offer great advice for sizes but she also was very knowledgeable on colours and patterns and what look would work,” wrote one buyer.

Rigby and Peller Review

Here’s another Rigby and Peller review from a customer who was delighted during their time in the store:

After a miserable experience looking for a strapless bra in a high street dept store, I happened upon Rigby & Peller during a day trip to Harrogate. I am so glad I did… In the end, I bought 3 bras and I walked out of the shop feeling like a million dollars.

Even the somewhat negative Rigby and Peller reviews had to compliment the brand’s bras for their comfort and support. This next review writer says that while one bra they got didn’t fit them as well as they would’ve liked, the company remedies the issue in a flash.

I buy ALL my bras from this company, not because they are cheap only because of their expertise, and good Customer Service. I am normally very pleased with my fitting and purchases, but on my last two visits I was fitted with a bra that cut into my back … I went back and without any quibble I got a full refund.”

Is Rigby and Peller Legit?

The only negative experiences people shared with Rigby and Peller have to do with returns, which is the case for any company. As such, I believe that this company is legit.

Is Rigby and Peller Worth It?

Rigby and Peller is worth it even with the expensive price tag. Yes, there’s no denying that their bras are comfortable, but they’re also multiples more expensive than bras you’d find elsewhere.

Rigby and Peller Promotions & Discounts

There weren’t any promotions running or Rigby and Peller discount codes available when I wrote this review.

Where To Buy Rigby and Peller

The company has only seven retail locations so the easiest place to purchase their stuff is through their website, rigbyandpeller.com.
