About RVCA

RVCA Review

A surf and skate brand at heart, RVCA has been around for over two decades, impressing sports enthusiasts and casual wear lovers alike. Their commitment to simplicity has drawn in an astounding following, and has raised their iconic RVCA logo to an easily recognizable status.

Over time, the brand has taken on a number of sponsored artists and athletes, including skaters, surfers, MMA fighters, and even chefs. And, as an added bonus, their Va All the Way trucker hat was worn by Zac Effron in his Netflix series Down to Earth. If that doesn’t impress you, then maybe their 730k followers on Instagram will.

When all is said and done, this RVCA review can’t help but be amazed by the success of what comes across as a rather laidback and no-frills boarding brand.

But hang in there, because it’s our mission to make sense of it all. We’re going to take a look at the brand as an entity, and put all the pieces together like a super chill and easy jigsaw puzzle.

Overview of RVCA

RVCA Review

RVCA was created when professional Hawaiian surfer Conan Hayes and co-founder Pat Tenore decided to join forces and launch their own apparel company in 1999.

With a drive to represent boarding and sportswear in a new and unique way, the brand wanted to redefine skate style and give consumers something casual and consistent to believe in.

The RVCA name was born of the “balance of opposites,” which is the driving mission behind the company as a brand. The folks behind the scenes of the company are big on coexistence, the future, and life as a whole. With a strong set of values and headquarters in Costa Mesa, CA, this skate and surf inspired brand is still as chill as they were when they started.

Although that’s the brand at a glance, this RVCA review is determined to uncover a lot more than just their beginnings and their mission statement. So stay tuned to find out some numbers, styles, and general highlights that make this brand what it is:

RVCA Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

RVCA Review

After giving an RVCA review of their best-selling qualities, it’s time to dive into some customer feedback so you have a well-rounded idea of what people really think about the brand. Digging through reviews can be timely and exhausting, which is why we’ve done it for you. Before we dive into the ins and outs of consumer words, here’s a collection of ratings for their top items:

  • Men’s Day Shift Long Sleeve: 5/5 stars, from 9 customer reviews
  • Va All The Way Hat: 4.5/5 stars, from 17 customer reviews
  • Women’s Yogger Short: 5/5 stars, from 4 customer reviews

RVCA is doing pretty good with impressing customers. With a portfolio of 37 reviews on Trustpilot, this 5-star customer rave stood out: “Arrived quickly! The best quality clothing I’ve ever received. Ordered the women’s sports shorts, two different pairs. So comfortable and flattering. Customer service was spot on! Will be shopping again! And again and again”

Meanwhile, on Zappos.com, where RVCA’s Week-End shorts are sold, they’ve collected 27 customer reviews, with 4.4/5 stars. Here’s one of the 5-star reviews: “Great shorts! I’m extremely picky about my clothes. The size is on par with most other clothing companies that lie to me and tell me my waist is 32″ when I know it measures 34-35.”

They continue, saying: “These shorts are great for most occasions and I think the colors go with anything. I bought the dark khaki and grey and I will now purchase the black ones as well. I hope they hold up because I’m going to wear the heck out of these this summer.”

And, last but not least, Amazon showcases 119 RVCA reviews for their Men’s Yogger, with a 4.7/5 stars, including this 5-star rave from a satisfied customer:

“These shorts are extremely comfortable. I swim in them. I work out in them. I chillax in them. All the materials used feel high quality. I thought the price was high at first, but bought them anyway. I started wearing them every day and they soon became the only shorts I want to wear. I even bought a second pair. Do it.”

Well, folks, the verdict is in. With a small selection of negative RVCA reviews to weed out, we’d have to go ahead and say that this company is doing it right.

By making quality, affordable gear and supplying customers with kind service and flexible shipping options, they’re making friends left, right, and center.

Is RVCA Worth It?

RVCA Review

There’s plenty of competition out there for a brand like RVCA. Yet with all those other styles, designs, and companies fighting to be recognized, this brand is still coming out on top.

In a way, their low-profile, simplistic styles continue to attract their customers. By offering their fans casual comfort with a fashionable edge, they’re making friends everywhere they go.

One of the central values of the company that this RVCA review wants to focus on is their iconic yet lowkey branding. Perhaps their minimalist designs speak to their customers as loudly as their affordability and their versatility. But whatever it is, we want in.

RVCA has impressed us with its selection, its following, and its mission. So, yes, they’re definitely worth it!
