About Soak and Sleep

Soak and Sleep Review

If you’ve ever slept in a luxury hotel bed, you know that not all bedding is made the same. Soak and Sleep offers a wide selection of bedding and bath products that are a cut above, made from materials that make a difference in comfort and a good night’s rest.

Studies1 says that the quality of your sleep can be greatly affected by the comfort of your bedding. Comfortable bedding can help you fall asleep faster and stay asleep longer, leading to a better overall sleep experience.

On the other hand, uncomfortable bedding can cause discomfort and disturbance throughout the night, leading to poor sleep quality.

Based in the UK, the brand is a leader in the industry, featured in notable publications like Hello! Magazine, British Vogue, and British GQ. With 35k followers across social media as well, if you’re new to their collection, consider my Soak and Sleep review your all-access guide.

Here, I’ll cover everything you need to know including details on their bestsellers, feedback, FAQ, and more. Comfy? Good, let’s dive in.

Overview of Soak and Sleep

Soak and Sleep Review

Soak and Sleep’s story is pretty impressive. It’s the kind of story everyone who’s ever wanted to start a business dreams of. Let’s start at the beginning. The year was 2006 and Charlie Hunt had just spent £100 on a website (for reference, e-commerce web design ranges from $5,000$55,000).

He’s working from a spare room in his house selling premium bedding and shipping it right to customers’ doors. Back then, the concept was a little more foreign than it is now, but Hunt knew the direction that online shopping was headed and planned accordingly.

Today, Soak and Sleep is one of the UK’s most popular bedding brands. From providing the right kind of products to the right kind of advice through their online Better Sleep Hub, this brand is on a mission to improve your sleep.

But sleep-changing products aren’t the only reason folks flock to this brand. Soak and Sleep is dedicated to making the entire process as easy as possible, factoring in streamlined shopping and helpful customer service into the equation as well.

Ready to see all that this brand has in store? I’ll walk you through a selection in just a few scrolls. Up next, you’ll find the highlights.

Soak and Sleep Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Soak and Sleep Review

Any reliable Soak and Sleep review hinges on customer feedback. I mean, how would we truly get to know the brand without it? So to help you understand what shopping with this company is like, I’ve dedicated an entire section to it here.

Normally I like to start with feedback from the brand’s website, but it turns out that the ratings and reviews they display on the official website are actually collected on Trustpilot. I’ll start with the ratings for their bestsellers first, then broaden the scope to include feedback for the entire company.

  • 4000 Pocket Air Spring Pillow Mattress: 5/5 stars, 4 reviews
  • Soft as Down with Silk Mattress Topper: 4.7/5 stars, 84 reviews
  • Luxury Quilted Cotton Pillow and Mattress Protectors: 4.8/5 stars, 675 reviews
  • 90% Hungarian Goose Down Duvet: 4.9/5 stars, 154 reviews

Scanning the comments for the 90% Hungarian Goose Down Duvet, here’s one Soak and Sleep review that shed light on its quality: “Bought this set about 7 years ago and it’s still going strong! Recently upgraded to a super king so bought it again!!”

Still commenting on the duvet, another shopper left a review, but it was more so about their experience with the brand in general rather than the specific product. It read: “Great company, great products, great customer service. I can’t recommend Soak and Sleep enough.”

There are a million and one bedding stores, so the fact that customers often return to this one speaks volumes about its products and services. Soak and Sleep’s overall 4.7-star score on Trustpilot from over 21.7k shoppers does too.

One thing I really like about Trustpilot is that it’s easy to trust. The site displays if the company collects both negative and positive reviews (Soak and Sleep does) and if they respond to negative comments (they do).

When you make a complaint, you just want it to be heard and dealt with, so it’s really great that Soak and Sleep has responded to 97% of complaints. Which is a very slim 6% of shoppers.

The majority of other comments on Trustpilot said things like: “Very smooth and hassle-free shopping experience. My order was dispatched very quickly and arrived promptly.” Others mentioned “high-quality bed linen,” and “first-rate” service.

We’ve heard a lot from Trustpilot, but does this kind of feedback hold up elsewhere? On Amazon, the Quilted Cotton Pillow and Mattress Protectors received great reviews. It averaged 4.6/5 stars over 167 ratings. Here’s what one reviewer said they loved about it:

“I was looking for a 100% cotton mattress protector at a decent price which is quite difficult and then I came across this one. So glad I bought it. It’s very good quality. It adds extra comfort to the mattress…Best of all it is so much cooler than my old polyester-backed one.”

After all of the Soak and Sleep reviews I rounded up, I’m pretty astounded. Evolving from a company created in a spare room to very possibly the most popular bedding brand in the UK, it’s safe to say that quality (of the bedding and service) is the driving force behind its success.

Is Soak and Sleep Legit?

Soak and Sleep Review

In my search for feedback during my Soak and Sleep review, I landed on a site called Review Centre. There’s a rating of 4.8/5 stars from almost 5k shoppers on the site, and while I know that the majority who shop with the brand love what they get, there were some unsavory comments posted as well.

There’s no doubt in my mind that my featured brand is legit and safe to shop with, but I want to give you the full scoop on the brand, including red flags about shipping and service. Though the bulk of comments and ratings on Review Centre said otherwise, some mentioned long shipping times, unfulfilled orders, and issues getting in touch with customer service.

It’s important to keep in mind that thousands of customers have had nothing but great things to say about this brand, but it’s always smart to be aware of possible mishaps too.

Is Soak and Sleep Worth It?

Soak and Sleep Review

When I first landed on the brand’s website for my Soak and Sleep review, I’ll admit, it looked to me just like any other company that sells bedding. After learning about the quality of its products, the thing that sold me was how much this brand is loved.

Soak and Sleep has a terrific reputation around the web, talked up as a hidden gem in the world of online bedding. With quick delivery, premium products, and reliable customer service, thousands of customers gush about their service, which to me, says it’s definitely worth checking out.
