About Kraus

Kraus Review

I’ve finally reached the age where a sleek-looking faucet can bring me joy, and I’ve got to say, Kraus’ line of bathroom and kitchen faucets and sinks has got me feeling happy.

Whether it’s because of its designs or the features that make sense for my life, I can easily understand why the brand has so many accolades—including winning the IDA Design, iF Design, and Red Dot awards.

And for a faucet company, its social community of 140k+ is equally as impressive.

Why all the buzz? I’ll help you figure that out by giving you the full scoop on the brand in this Kraus review.

Coming up, I’ll share details on Kraus’ bestsellers, customer feedback, and more so that by the end of this review, you can decide if this brand’s products are the right choice for your home.

Overview Of Kraus

Kraus Review

Founded in 2007 by Russel Levi and Michael Ruhklin, Kraus was born from the need for accessible, highquality faucets and sinks. Imported from Italy or engineered in Germany, the brand’s collection is truly one to be admired.

Even though Kraus is now owned by the Masco Corporation (since 2020), the folks behind it have always believed in the power that design has on people’s lives. I’d have to agree.

A spacious, durable kitchen sink or a smooth flowing faucet has the ability to make chores a little less tedious

Kraus is a highly admired brand, and after reading more than my fair share of customer reviews, I’ve come to realize that it’s also easy to work with. Based in New York, it sells its products via retail partners around the world

Coming up in this Kraus review, I’ll tell you more about this brand’s forward-thinking collection. But first, check out some key highlights below to get a feel for what’s in store.

Kraus Sink Review

The collection of Kraus sinks is pretty impressive with 10 different categories—from undermount to bar to workstation and more. You’ll browse through stainless steel, enamel, and fireclay options made from German and Italian engineering.

Just ahead in this Kraus review, I’ll walk you through the brand’s bestsellers.

Kraus Fireclay Workstation Drop-In Undermount Single Bowl Kitchen Sink Review

The Fireclay Workstation Drop-in Undermount Single Bowl Kitchen Sink is made in Italy, so you know it has fine craftsmanship. Fitted with a ledge that can hold workstation accessories, this sink was created with functionality in mind.

Since it’s made with a durable solid core, it’s less likely to crack over time.

So what’s the deal with fireclay? It’s super dense and durable, heated at 2300°F then coated with porcelain enamel so that it’s as easy to clean as it is on the eyes thanks to a black matte finish.

Kraus Kore Workstation Undermount 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Single Bowl Kitchen Sink Review

If you like to cook, you’ll find that a workstation sink comes in handy. The Kore Workstation Undermount 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Single Bowl Kitchen Sink helps make meal prep and clean-up a breeze.

Equipped with a dish drying rack as well as a bamboo cutting board, you can prep, clean, and store items easily. But let’s not forget what this sink is made of—16 gauge stainless steel which is apparently the most durable material you can ask for when it comes to sinks.

Kraus Standart PRO Apron Front 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Single Bowl Kitchen Sink Review

The Standart PRO Apron Front 16 Gauge Stainless Steel Single Bowl Kitchen Sink is a farmhouse-style sink with an oversized basin to handle large amounts of dishes or whatever else you find yourself washing in the sink.

Made with NoiseDefend sound dampening, you’ll enjoy less clanging and clinking, and thanks to industrial-grade steel, fewer dings too.

But this sink also looks great with its commercial-grade satin finish that just happens to be really easy to clean.

Kraus Faucets Review

Kraus is known for just two things, and one of them is faucets. Even though the type of products the brand offers is limited, there are a ton of items within each category.

The Kraus faucets section includes designs for both the kitchen and bathroom, with modern and vintage-looking styles. Below, I’ll tell you all about the brand’s bestsellers.

Kraus High-Arc Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet Review

Made in a matte black color that would look killer with marble-style countertops, the High-Arc Single Handle Pull-Down Kitchen Faucet is super sleek. No matter what kind of counters you have though, it’s guaranteed to make an impression.

Arcing high, it helps you fit large bulky items in the sink while the pull-down spray head lets you reach places that are usually hard to get to.

Along with the dual-function sprayer, this forward-thinking design has everything you need to create a functional sink.

Kraus Oren Single Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet in Chrome Review

A super modern and simplified design, the Oren Single Handle Pull-Out Kitchen Faucet in Chrome includes all the must-have features for your kitchen sink.

With a dual-function spray head, rubber nozzles, and a braided nylon hose, this durable, well-made faucet resists rust and installs easily.

Equipped with an aerator that helps prevent clogging, this Kraus kitchen faucet comes with everything you need to quickly connect and install it.

Kraus Arlo Single Handle Basin Bathroom Faucet with Lift Rod Drain in Brushed Gold Review

You might never think you’d marvel at the design and look of a bathroom faucet. Then you turn 30.

The Arlo Single Handle Basin Bathroom Faucet with Lift Rod Drain in Brushed Gold is like a work of art.

In a beautiful gold finish, it gives your sink an upscale look in a flash. Featuring a curved faucet and single handle design, it’s made with an eco-friendly aerator to help you save water.

Who Is Kraus For?

Kraus Review

Kraus makes kitchen and bathroom sinks and faucets, so I think it’s safe to say this brand is for anyone looking to replace those items in their home. Since what they offer is unique, you may also like the brand if you’re looking for something with a little more charm.

Kraus Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Kraus Review

You probably wouldn’t consider this Kraus review complete without looking at customer feedback, and neither do I. That’s why I combed the web to find out what people really think about the brand’s products.

Below, I’ll show you some of the ratings and comments I found on Amazon, Wayfair, and the Better Business Bureau (BBB).

Let’s start with Amazon. There, the Viva Round Black Porcelain Sink was rated 4.8/5 stars by 423 shoppers. Here’s a breakdown of the score:

  • 5 stars: 88%
  • 4 stars: 7%
  • 3 stars: 2%
  • 2 stars: 1%
  • 1 star: 2%

One satisfied customer wrote this Kraus review: “Very happy with my purchase. Hubby says easy to install…I love the ribbing on the inside, makes it look classier and not like just a bowl from the kitchen. Good size too.

Eye-catching details are just one thing that sets Kraus products apart from the pack—and who doesn’t love an easy install?

Hundreds of other shoppers agree, but can this kind of feedback be found elsewhere? I headed over to Wayfair to find out.

Wayfair sells a wide selection of Kraus products, so I’ll include some ratings for a few of the brand’s bestsellers below:

  • Bolden Pulldown Kitchen Faucet: 4.8/5 stars from 5,556 reviews
  • Arlo Single Hole Faucet: 4.8/5 stars from 1,021 reviews
  • Arlo Vessel Sink Bathroom Faucet: 4.8/5 stars from 452 reviews

One customer left this Kraus review about the Arlo Vessel Sink Bathroom Faucet: “It is sleek and sturdy. Flows perfectly. And it looks very high end.”

Arlo has a unique design, but it’s also handy to know that it fits the kind of sinks it’s made for. Another shopper was also happy with their purchase.

Here’s what they wrote: “We bought two of these for our master bath three years ago, and they are still functioning very well and they look like new! They are quiet when they run as well.

Not only do Kraus products look good and work well, but it also sounds like they stand the test of time.

But to find out just how well Kraus handles issues that come up with customers, I went over to the Better Business Bureau. And funnily enough, the company has a perfect score.

With both an A+ and 5/5 rating for customer service and products, I’ll admit that this company is one of the few I’ve come across with positive comments on the BBB. Here’s a Kraus review I found on this site:

Absolutely LOVE my KHT300-33 Replacing an old dual S/S sink long overdue. I am so impressed with the workmanship and quality of this sink. Plumber that installed it for me couldn’t stop praising it…Love everything about it. Will recommend to those looking to buy a sink to come see mine.”

I was super impressed with the feedback I found for Kraus online. With ratings consistently above 4.5/5 stars, it’s safe to say that customers are really pleased with what they get from this brand.

Is Kraus Legit?

Kraus Review

Kraus is one of the few brands that has positive reviews on the BBB—a place customers go to report issues. And not only that, it has an A+ score.

No matter where I looked, Kraus has consistently high ratings and no concerning issues. It’s definitely legit and an awesome brand to shop with.

Is Kraus Worth It?

Kraus Review

Kraus was founded as a way to make high-quality imported faucets and sinks more accessible by offering them online. I like how much selection the brand has because of this and took note of the many different designs that are available.

Reviews for Kraus were off-the-charts good and I didn’t discover any glaring issues with its products or customer service.

So, after all the elements considered in this Kraus review, I certainly recommend the brand

FAQ

Kraus Review

Who owns Kraus?

Kraus was founded in 2007 by Russel Levi and Michael Ruhklin. The pair sold the brand in 2020 to the Masco Corporation

Does Kraus ship internationally?

This entirely depends on which retailer you shop with. Kraus doesn’t ship directly to customers at all.

Instead, it ships products to the stores it partners with. It’s up to each store to decide if it will ship internationally or not. If you live outside of the USA, you may be able to find a store that does.

What is Kraus’s shipping policy?

When you place an order with any of Kraus’ retail partners, it’s subject to that store’s unique shipping policy.

Kraus says that it takes about three business days to process an order, but I suggest referring to the policy of whichever partner retailer you choose to shop with for more precise information.

What is Kraus’s return policy?

Remember when I said you can’t actually shop directly with the brand? That means Kraus’ return policy will vary depending on which retailer you buy its sinks and faucets from.

While that may be so, Kraus has a general return policy if for any reason you need to send your items back to the company directly.

I’ll run you through it:

  1. You have 30 days from the date of purchase to make a return
  2. Your items must be in original, saleable condition
  3. You need to get in contact with Kraus before sending your items back
  4. The company will send you an RGA number that you’ll write on the copy of the original receipt you include with your return
  5. Your order may be subject to restocking fees and shipping costs

To start the return process, send an email to [email protected] and let Kraus’ team know. Be sure you include all of the original packaging with your order.
