About Aarke

Aarke Review

Fancy restaurants will usually have a selection of water. As someone familiar with fast food, it triggers a double take. I can choose my type of water? What does that even mean?

From tap or bottled to citrus-infused, most formal establishments recommend carbonated H2O to offset deep aromatic dishes. This is where Aarke comes in.

If you can’t afford to dine at Serendipity 3 every day, Aarke carbonated filters offer the same sense of class and sophistication found in 5-star diners.

Designed to offer a hint of bubbly to normal tap water, it’s a great way to encourage daily hydration. Their products have been featured in various media outlets, including PureWow, Mashable, and Wired.

In need of the perfect gift? If so, perhaps this brand can offer you the model you need. Keep reading, as in my Aarke review, I’ll give you a comprehensive look at the company, its products, customer ratings, promotions, and more to help you decide if they’re worth checking out.

Overview of Aarke

Aarke Review

You can say that Aarke is the Balenciaga of home decor. Founded by Jonas Groth and Carl Ljungh, this Swedish brand focuses on redefining everyday essentials with a touch of grandeur.

The company hit the ground running since its debut in 2013, which was partially thanks to the owners’ coupled experience in industrial design. Their first-ever product, the Aarke Carbonator, became a global success, and it’s currently available in over 30 countries.

Aarke states that they’re committed to providing high-quality products for contemporary homes: “With an obsession for detail and honest care for our products, we develop distinctive, iconic designs that never go out of style. We will refine our products until they cannot get any better, with the goal of creating the perfect user experience.”

Before I continue with my Aarke review, let’s go over some company highlights.

Highlights

Aarke Review
  • A curated selection of water carbonators
  • Also sell water purifiers
  • Sustainable alternative to plastic bottles
  • Available in several countries
  • Offers Afterpay as an alternative payment option
  • Free shipping on orders $50 or more

While glamorous, consuming too much champagne has its downsides, and normal tap water isn’t the easiest to get down if you’re not a fan of bland tastes. So if you’re looking for a decent compromise, Aarke carbonated filters offer the best of both worlds. By using their machines, customers can get a sense of sophistication with their daily hydration.

Currently, the company sells carbonators, flavors, purifiers, CO2 exchanges, and accessories. I’ll briefly walk through some of their best-selling products in the next section of my Aarke review to help customers get started.

Aarke Carbonator 3 Review

Competing brands, like Drinkmate and Sodastream, usually focus on functionality rather than aesthetics. Obviously, I’m not here to hate on these competitors but it’s definitely something to consider if you value design.

If you prefer to decorate your home taking inspiration from the magazine spreads of Architectural Digest, the Aarke Carbonator 3 can be an excellent addition to your kitchen. With a rugged design, this stainless steel machine features a safety valve system and a precision notch to ensure an accurate stream.

This all-time bestseller also includes a PET water bottle, a drip tray cover, and an Aarke cleaning cloth.

Available in 8 stylish colors, the Carbonator 3 retails for $212 or $252, depending on which hue you choose.

Aarke PET Water Bottle Review

Like most carbonators, you can’t use any ol’ water bottle you have lying around. Most machines come with a standard container to ensure a spill-free experience. For Aarke, this is the PET Water Bottle that comes with all of their models.

This stylish bestseller is made out of food-grade, virgin PET, so you don’t have to worry about ingesting harmful chemicals. Complimented with steel detailing, it’s definitely an upgrade compared to traditional Hydro Flasks or S’well water bottles.

If you want to buy a PET Water Bottle on its own, you can buy the 1L version for $20. If you don’t need as much water, you can buy a 650mL bottle for $14. Again, most Aarke models come with this product included, so this is an add-on purchase.

Aarke Carbonator Pro Review

The Aarke Carbonator Pro brings the “would you like a glass of water?” question to a whole other level.

This fancy gadget is made out of premium stainless steel which is covered in textured powder for added dimension. Set with a push-to-lock feature for added convenience, it’ll definitely trigger some envy among house guests.

Like other Aarke models, it also comes with a glass bottle, a product manual, and a complimentary cleaning cloth. The Carbonator Pro retails for $300. I recommend adding some flavors, such as the Drink Mixers Set, if you really want to impress your friends and family.

Who Is Aarke For?

Aarke Review

Compared to other carbonator brands, Aarke is quite expensive. It’s definitely a treat-yourself purchase, given that most of their machines retail for $200+. If you’re not the type to covet plastic gadgets, this company focuses on aesthetics to ensure a timeless design.

Made out of stainless steel and finished in a variety of stunning colors, Aarke is the kind of brand that you’d associate with fancy coffee makers and wine fridges.

Aarke Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Aarke Review

Despite the cost, customers love their Aarke carbonators. Aesthetically pleasing and functional, I found hundreds of positive Aarke reviews online. I thought it best to feature some of the ratings posted for the brand’s best-selling products on the official website:

  • Carbonator 3: 4.8/5 stars from 270 reviews
  • PET Water Bottle: 4.6/5 stars from 90 reviews
  • Carbonator Pro: 4.8/5 stars from 17 reviews

Perfect for spicing up your water, Aarke carbonators are considered a must-have in every kitchen. Customers stated that it helped to stylize their countertop spaces. Others were happy with its sustainable design, given that it reduced their consumption of plastic water bottles.

“Great carbonator with a very nice design which fits in every kitchen. We don’t purchase plastic bottles anymore,” one customer wrote for the Carbonator 3

“Love the way this machine looks and the no-mess approach. Very slick and perfect fizzy water every time,” one reviewer detailed for the Carbonator Pro

Aside from the brand’s official website, I turned to outside sources such as Mashable and CNET. Both reviews concluded that Aarke carbonators performed beautifully. Easy to use and with an attractive design, they’re reportedly worth the investment. The company scored a respective 4.7/5 and 8/10 stars on both sites.

Here’s what Mashable’s reviewer wrote: “Overall, it’s difficult to find flaws in the Carbonator Pro. It’s meticulously designed, and it’s easy to see how using this machine could seamlessly weave its way into your daily routine.”

Now, before you spend over $200 on a high-quality carbonator, I did uncover some minor complaints online. I’ll be sure to discuss this in full in the next segment of my Aarke review.

Is Aarke Legit?

Aarke Review

One of the main complaints associated with Aarke is its overall expense. Thankfully, you can take care knowing that the amount of negative reviews is quite small compared to the positive ones online.

Is Aarke Worth It?

Aarke Review

Spending more than $200 on a small kitchen appliance is a hard bullet to bite, but it’s definitely worth considering if you’re a fan of bubbly water.

Plus, it can help encourage hydration for those not fond of the usual tap H20. Beautifully designed and functional, I can confidently recommend this brand.
