Airo Collective was not inspired by the famous Seinfeld gag where George Costanza’s oversized wallet causes him back pain. However, founder Steve Schmidt faced a similar predicament 5 years ago after injuring his back in a BMX accident.

His wallet was so big that it hurt him when he sat on it. This made him so uncomfortable, that he searched far and wide for a better option. After not finding what he needed, he decided to do something about it.

Schmidt established Airo Collective with the Airo Collective Stealth Wallet in 2016, which was designed to be as tough as it was thin.

Three years later, they turned to Kickstarter to gather more funds. They reached their goal in less than 10 hours, eventually earning more than $600k from over 10,000 backers.

Since then, Airo Collective has gone on to produce Swiss Army knife-like tools and other everyday items.

Their crowdfunded background showed them the importance of giving back. As such, Airo Collective donates 3% of all of its profits to nonprofit organizations.

That’s a commendable trait, but it’s not the only thing about them that’s worthy of applause.

Airo Collective has built its brand off of the quality of its wallets, which is exactly why I’m going to hone in on the details of each one in the next section of my Airo Collective review.

Airo Collective Stealth Wallet Razor Review

The first wallet here is proclaimed to be the thinnest and the toughest wallet in the world, but is that true?

Well, the Airo Collective Stealth Wallet Razor is up to 15 times stronger than steel and about as thick as a credit card, so if it’s not the thinnest or the toughest, then it’s awfully close.

This wallet is made from ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, which is a material that’s waterproof, tear-proof, and rigid.

The wallet should keep its shape regardless of how many cards it holds. It can keep all those cards safe from digital thieves with its RFID protection too.

Airo Collective Stealth Carbon Wallet Review

The next item is a slightly more opulent wallet. It contains many of Airo Collective’s protective qualities like a TPU-infused 3k carbon fiber for toughness and micro-diamonds to help the edges keep their points.

Sounds really tough. But don’t worry, thanks to its interior of Italian leather laced with ultra-high molecular weight polyethylene, this wallet feels soft in your hands.

So it’s safe to say that the Airo Collective Stealth Carbon Wallet is as thin as it is regal, and it can be yours for $185. That’s a bit more than the last item I mentioned, but this wallet is made with more valuable materials. 

Airo Collective Stealth Diamond Wallet Review 

The Airo Collective Stealth Diamond Wallet might share many traits with the last wallet I covered, but there’s one thing that separates the two: leather nano-armor.

See, the Airo Collective Stealth Diamond Wallet has a leather exterior that’s made of a nano-armor plating that maximizes the wallet’s durability and flexibility.

This means that you won’t be sacrificing any aspect of quality by buying a wallet than can bend and twist. In fact, this is the first wallet in the world to use such material.

This one-of-a-kind wallet is sadly sold out at the time of writing my Airo Collective review, but you can grab it when it becomes available again for $185.

Airo Collective Stealth Leather Wallet Review 

The final featured item in my Airo Collective review sits in the sweet spot between function and formality.

It’s a genuine leather wallet made from leather produced as a byproduct of the meat industry. As such, it’s more sustainably manufactured than other leather wallets on the market.

It seems like customers absolutely adore these wallets! It seems to be exactly what some customers have been looking for. One 5-star review said as much:

“I like that it is compact, lightweight but still able to hold all that I need without taking up my entire pocket. The construction seems sturdy and strong even though the material is thin. The only negative is that I have to buy another one for my brother because he’s jealous.”

While there are a ton of great reviews on the brand’s official website, there were some other websites where people reported good experiences with Airo Collective. Amazon users in particular praised the company.

This is what one Amazon commenter wrote about the Stealth Razor wallet:

“The stealth razor wallet is definitely the thinnest wallet I have ever used. The craftsmanship is top-notch, and their material choice used state-of-the-art materials, overall I couldn’t be happier with my purchase, so stoked!”

Another user boasted about the wallet’s performance and materials, saying that they were unlike anything else on the market. They wrote:

“I love minimalist wallets!! This bulletproof material has made this wallet the thinnest possible. It has been durable, it feels like nothing in my pants and it beats all my other wallets by far.”

That being said, some customers were complaining that the products were rather expensive. However, given the technology behind the wallets, and their durability, it makes sense that they wouldn’t be as affordable as other wallets.

At least that’s how one Airo Collective review writer sees things: “My only complaint was the cost, $61 is quite expensive, but so far I love it and look forward to using it for a long time.”

Overall, in their Airo Collective reviews, customers seemed to love these wallets because they are minimal, simple, tough, and as thin as a wallet could be.
