BABOR Refining Enzyme & Vitamin C Cleanser Review
The Refining Enzyme & Vitamin C Cleanser isn’t your average everyday cleanser. It’s a fine powder designed to be mixed with water. After pouring about a teaspoon into my hands and adding a few drops of water, it becomes a liquid that I could then begin to massage over my skin.
This particular product is ideal for pale and acne-prone skin, helping you achieve an even complexion using enzymes to slough off dead skin and deliver a keratolytic effect. Keratolytic cleansers help buff away bumps and irregularities on the skin, so it made sense why mine was baby smooth after using it for the first time.
After using the cleanser regularly, I noticed that my skin looked and felt cleaner and that my blackheads were less visible. The ones on my forehead also appeared smaller. The perfect first step for any skincare routine, I highly suggest that you pair this with one of BABOR’s Ampoule sets.

BABOR HY-ÖL Cleanser & Phyto HY-ÖL Booster Reactivating Set Review
I’ll admit that when I received this set, I was a little confused about what to do with it. It’s a two-step routine that includes an award-winning bi-phase HY-ÖL Cleanser and the Phyto Essence.
It’s recommended for mature skin, but I really loved how it felt on mine. Now, when you use this cleansing set, keep in mind that it’s not going to feel like any other you’ve used.
The HY-ÖL is an oil that reaches down into your pores to extract dirt and oil, but it’s also a wonderful makeover remover that expertly washed off my concealer and mascara easily. Kind on skin, the gentle formula supports the health of your skin barrier and won’t remove much-needed oils and bacteria.
Made from a blend of soy, sesame, and peanut oils (don’t worry it doesn’t smell like any of the above), it’s also packed with Vitamin E, bisabolol, and Quillaja extract to suck out dirt from your pores.

Who Are BABOR Cleansers For?

One of the many things I love about this brand is the number of cleansers they offer. I know I reviewed three in this BABOR Cleanser review, but there’s one for every type of preference on their website. As for the types I tried out, I’m a big fan of alternative cleansing methods.
