Overview of Blush and Bar

Blush and Bar Review

Dan and Sarah Wesley wanted to be part of a jewelry brand that suited the hands of the modern woman. They needed it to be ethically sourced, look expensive, fit many ring sizes (4-13), and be affordable.

So, in 2016, after partnering with ethical manufacturing facilities and sources, Blush and Bar was born as an e-commerce platform headquartered in Tampa, Florida. The online business model allows them to offer expensive-looking, 18k plated jewelry for low prices.

They put their money where their mouth is too because all of Blush and Bar’s jewelry comes with a lifetime warranty and a portion of sales is donated to the Make a Wish foundation.

Does Blush and Bar Tarnish?

Blush and Bar Review

The jewelry is high in quality, but you may experience tarnishing with any one of them due to the underlying layer of metal oxidizing the gold or silver. It can take a long time to show, but tarnishing is always possible.

In the next section of this Blush and Bar review, we’ll cover a few of the many adorable rings that the brand has to offer. After that, we’ll show you their best-selling necklace and earrings.

Blush and Bar Rings Review

Rings come in all styles and sizes, so you can mix and match or swing it solo to complement an outfit or your stunning personality.

All of Blush and Bar’s rings come in three plating options: 18K Gold, 18K Rose Gold, and 925 Sterling Silver, and can be bought using afterpay.

Let’s take a look at the brand’s customer favorites, from simple, classy designs to those with glamorous precious stones.

A prong setting keeps the sparkly rocks in place and looks fantastic paired with any plating variety. Keep it cool with the Sophia Snowflake Ring for $59.

Blush and Bar Blue Opal Carved Ring Review

With a mystical essence, the Blue Opal Carved Ring is an enchanting statement piece. This Blush and Barreview gets some seriously royal vibes from this piece.

Understated is the name of the game with the Moonie Glass Geometric Ring. Delicate with just the right amount of sparkle, this sophisticated piece adds an edge to any ring collection.

Blush and Bar Rebecca Rope Ring Review

With an interlocking, woven design, the Rebecca Rope Ring spreads its charm forever. This meaningful band is similar to an infinity ring and would make a lovely gift for a girlfriend or daughter to signify your love for them.

The 84 pavé, round-cut stones line each strand of rope for a dazzling display of glitter. With a 4.6mm band, the Rebecca Rope Ring is thicker than other Blush and Bar varieties but is still dainty and delicate

Show someone you love them with this gorgeous and heartfelt ring for $59.

Blush and Bar Emie Ring Review

Like a mini tiara for your finger, the Emie Ring shines with simple elegance. A total of 9 stones decorates this 1mm ring, with 3 large stones in the middle surrounded by another three tiny ones on either side.

Pair this band with rings that have larger stones alongside those that don’t have any for a tiered, varied look. The rose gold version especially caught the eye of this Blush and Bar review with its enchanting finish.

Add a classic and refined piece to your collection with the Emie Ring for $59.

Knuckle rings are one of jewelry’s more rebellious designs, allowing for a different way to wear a ring.

Created to be stackable, the Midi Knuckle 2-Ring Set is like two rings in one: the first a sleek, shiny band, and the next a cubic zirconia encrusted ribbon that sits snugly in front.

27 round-cut stones catch the light beautifully, each set on a prong and measuring 1mm. Show off your originality and mix and match metals for a modern, bohemian look.

Blush and Bar Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Blush and Bar Review

Jewelry is a girl’s best friend, but only when it’s as good in person as it is on the screen. In the following section, this Blush and Bar review will fill you in on what buyers have to say about the brand’s jewelry, and if it really is as good-quality and gorgeous as it appears to be.

Blush and Bar has an A rating on the BBB, but they have not received any reviews or complaints. This could be considered a good thing, as it means no customers have felt the need to take issue with the service.

Hitting up the brand’s website, we compiled a list of some of their bestsellers to give you a general idea of what customers think about them. While we would have liked to see a larger number of ratings, here’s an emerging glimpse at some Blush and Bar rings:

  • White Fire Champagne Opal Ring – 4.4/5 stars, 100 reviews
  • Midi Knuckle 2-Ring Set – 4.6/5 stars, 48 reviews
  • Emie Ring – 4.8/5 stars, 27 reviews
  • Rebecca Rope Ring – 4.7/stars, 66 reviews
  • Moonie Glass Geometric Ring – 4.6/5 stars, 88 reviews

Because the White Fire Champagne Opal Ring has the most comments, we decided to take a closer look at it to really get all the nitty-gritty details.

Blush and Bar Review

According to those who bought it, this ring is even more gorgeous in person when compared to the photos.

One Blush and Bar review reads, “It looks better in real life, the opal sparkles and the color is stunning. Pictures don’t make it justice. Both the gold and the stones look perfect.”

There aren’t a ton of negative comments, but some customers complain of a low-quality look and had issues with the ring’s size. One review reads, “too bulky… also looks too flashy.” This is more of a personal preference, as the size is clearly stated in the details.

The Sasha Sparkle Ring has 3.8/5 stars on Amazon, as rated by 50 buyers. We’ve provided the rating snapshot below to give you a better picture of how customers enjoyed this ring:

  • 5 stars 55%
  • 4 stars 8%
  • 3 stars 16%
  • 2 stars 6%
  • 1 star 15%

Amazon reviewers write about how this ring fits and feels, along with the compliments they’ve received while wearing it.

One comment stood out to us, and simply reads, “The real thing would cost 10x what this ring did, but I would dare anyone to notice the difference.” A great choice for anyone who wants to look expensive but may not be able to fork over the dough.

Blush and Bar Review

The reviews on Amazon are littered with users commenting on how tarnished the rings were when they arrived. One said that “the ring was so tarnished that it looked brown.”

Others reported missing stones. We did find mentions of the brand offered a refund, a sign of good customer service

The brand has a 4.1/5 star rating based on 332 Trustpilot users. The rating spread was heavily favored towards 5/5 stars.

We decided to include some pros aside from the quality to help give you a full picture of what the brand’s rings and other jewelry pieces are like. There are quite a few Trustpilot reviews that mention enjoying the Blush and Bar 3 for $99 special, and the gift they received with it.

Another Blush and Bar review appreciates the large sizing. It reads, “Just love my rings. Bought 3 of them. Blush and Bar is the only place I can get size 13.”

Regardless of your hand size, rings should come in all sizes, but many brands don’t carry above a size 10. This is truly an applaudable feature.

Blush and Bar Review

Is Blush and Bar legit? From what we could see, the brand appears to be a mid-to-highly rated brand with great quality rings. Customers love the low prices and other perks that the brand offers like gifts and deals.

While there are reports of tarnishing and missing stones, we’ve seen reliable follow-ups by customer service.

Is Blush and Bar Worth It?

Blush and Bar Review

Based on what we’ve read from customers, we think Blush and Bar is worth it

They have great prices, a varied selection of jewelry, and some truly pretty, intricate, and expensive-looking designs that are affordable. This seems to be the consensus among customers as well, who love the pieces for their great looks and quality.

If you’re on the fence, consider this: their jewelry comes with a 60-day money-back guarantee, has a lifetime warranty, and every purchase helps children through the Make a Wish Foundation.

We’re not here to sway you in either direction, but when we spot a good brand, we’re not afraid to let you know.
