ABEC stands for Annular Bearing Engineering Committee, and it’s a rating given to denote the precision level at the bearing is made at ratings ranging from 1 to 9, 1 being the lowest. Bustin uses the following types of bearings on their boards:
- ABEC 7: High precision, holds up well during high speeds.
- ABEC 9: Highest possible precession, low vibrations, longer lasting.
- ABEC 9 Built-In: Highest precision, combined with spacers, allows for more wiggle, great for slides & high speeds.
