About Confetti

Confetti Review

Whether you’re working from home or in an office, sometimes it’s easy to let years go by without learning all of your coworkers’ names. You already have one thing in common, who’s to say there aren’t lifelong friendships waiting to be formed just down the hall (or across computer screens)?

Enter Confetti, a company that offers tons of team-building games and activities to foster connectivity within the workplace. The quickly growing business has earned the business of 4,000+ companies and brought together hundreds of employees both in remote and corporate settings. Some of their clients include Vimeo, Netflix, LinkedIn, and Hubspot

If you want to learn more about what the company offers, look no further than my Confetti review. I’ll take you through some popular classes, their mission, some FAQs, policies, and more.

Overview of Confetti

Confetti Review

Launched in 2017, Confetti is a remote company run by Lee Rubin and Eyal Hakim. The duo came together after noticing the same conundrum within professional settings—the burden of event planning often falls onto corporate employees who have no idea where to start.

A statement from Lee Rubin, CEO says, Team building is a must-have for companies who want to work on a better or stronger culture, and that’s what we’re all about!”

A workplace with a strong culture is also proven to be more productive in the long run. You know what they say: play together, stay together. Confetti helps plan themed events, games, parties, culture-building experiences, and even fitness classes

Now that you know a little more about the business, I’m going to steer this Confetti review into a list of highlights!

Highlights

Confetti Review
  • Created to increase workplace productivity via culture-building
  • Hundreds of fun team-building activities and experiences
  • Takes the stress out of event planning
  • End-to-end planning by a dedicated team
  • No booking fees
  • Instant quotes and transparent pricing
  • Transparent cancellation and rescheduling policies

I don’t know about you, but I’d jump out of bed even on a Monday morning if I knew there was a Confetti event planned at work. The company offers so many exciting games such as themed Trivias, Taboo, Pictionary, and more. They also offer baking, cooking, and fitness classes, employee onboarding workshops, parties, and so on.

You could scroll through the collections for hours like a kid in a candy shop! The business also offers a ‘gifting’ option such as a bottle of wine or Grow a Tree kits. But for this review, I’m going to focus on some Confetti team building activities.

Confetti Team Building Review

There’s no better way to bond with strangers than to spend an afternoon participating in a mentally stimulating activity. Is your team made up of introverts who prefer to play games such as Two Truths and a Lie? Or is a fun round of Leadership Coworker Feud more their speed?

Up ahead in this Confetti review, I’ll share four of the company’s best-selling options from the Team Building category as mentioned, so you can get a sense of what to expect! As a side note, pricing varies according to group size.

Confetti Tie Dye Workshop Review

Some of us were lucky enough to go to summer camp when we were toddlers, where we spent days finger painting and making tie dye clothing. If you missed out on the experience, here’s your chance to learn the fun technique!

In Confetti’s 1-hour Tie Dye Workshop, you can either choose between an Accessory Kit (contains 3 dyes, socks, a tea towel, and a canvas bag) or a T-Shirt Kit (includes the same items from the Accessory Kit + a T-shirt in your size + an additional dye). Then, select a color combination out of 4 options.

The company equips you with shipping insurance, a ‘camp-spirited instructor’, a Zoom link, and the kit of your choice. Your employees will need to simply need a set of old clothes (in case things get messy), paper towels and a ziploc bag, bowl of water, and access to Zoom.

Confetti Virtual Trivia Review

Virtual Trivia is a fairly safe choice if you can’t decide on an activity that a large group will enjoy. This mentally stimulating game will stir up some competition among even the most reserved employees. All you need to bring is a basic knowledge of US pop culture, history, or sports.

The activity takes 1-hour on average; employees need to have access to a computer or smartphone, Zoom, and a shared communication app. Virtual Trivia is available for both virtual or hybrid workplace settings, and can be done in a variety of themes, including custom themes.

Confetti Virtual Escape Quest Review

With Virtual Escape Quest, team building has never been so thrilling. In this 75-90 minute game, team members will put their problem solving skills to use, working together to uncover clues and solve puzzles while they race against the clock.

This fun, challenging game splits up to 160 members into groups of 5 and gives them the backstory of the challenge. Each team will have 60 minutes to complete their quest and the one that finishes the fastest wins! Choose from games like the Holiday Escape Quest and The Secret Society, with prices starting at $10 per person.

Confetti Pub Review

Bring the fun, relaxed setting of your favorite pub into your team’s homes. With Virtual Confetti Pub, your co-workers will enjoy live music from a professional musician that takes song requests, games, pub trivia, and the chance to mingle in separate conversation rooms.

With Confetti Pub, the more, the merrier, and unlike your corner pub, you can pack up to 950 people into one room. Usually, the event lasts for 2 hours, but if you need longer, just ask.

Since offices are full of unique people, Confetti Pub is an awesome way to ensure everyone’s having fun. For even more variety, add on extras like Drag Queen Bingo and Ice Shaker, or choose themed hangouts like Holiday Pub Party and Nostalgic Prom.

Set your rating at PG to keep things kosher or choose Anything Goes to really get the party started. Pricing depends on headcount and your chosen add-ons, but you’ll receive an instant price quote once you input these details.

Who Is Confetti For?

Confetti Review

Confetti is for offices and businesses who want to build a stronger workplace culture and boost productivity. It’s designed to take the anxiety out of planning events for both small and large teams. Why not make the burden lighter on your HR team by offering fully thought-out activities and kits ready to go?

From what I can see, you can book for a wide variety of headcounts at any time, the maximum headcount will always be listed on each event page. That being said, you can always start out with a lower headcount and increase it later.

Confetti Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Confetti Review

Confetti has catered over 15K events for 4K+ employees since it has been in business. So, lucky for us, there should be plenty of Confetti reviews floating around the web! If you’re as curious as me to take a look at what people have been saying about their events, keep reading.

On Capterra, the company received an average score of 4.8/5 stars from 63 reviews. Here’s the breakdown of individual ratings:

  • Ease of use: 4.8/5
  • Customer service: 4.9/5
  • Features: 4.8/5
  • Value for money:  4.6/5

So, it seems that Confetti scores high points in the realm of customer service, ease of use, and features. This is not too surprising, given that the brand offers convenient kits and an instructor or host with each activity.

One customer who booked a game and works as a Senior Manager says, “Overall, it’s a very positive experience working with Confetti. Their customer service is very lovely and the game hosts are always fun and approachable. I really like how they organize everything for you. All of the zoom links and even relaying the rules to everyone.”

This testimonial is helpful for anyone trying to plan ahead in time for the holiday season: “I immediately had access to the full library of experiences to peruse. Experiences are neatly and logically categorized, and during the holiday season they grouped all of the seasonal options together making it a cinch for me to find themed experiences during the month of December.”

Hopping over to Trustpilot, Confetti received 4.5/5 stars from a small pool of 19 reviewers. Here is a fun activity that one client left a comment for—mixology! Lets see what they said:

“The mixology class was everything you want in a bonding, entertaining activity that linked folks from all over the country. The cocktail artisan really listened to the needs of my group and kept people with different abilities engaged — not an easy task!”

The following is a Confetti review from a client who has used the service many times, “I love working with Confetti! I’ve booked around 15 events on the platform in the last year. It’s super easy to book and I have been very pleased with each and every event. Would recommend virtual team building!”

Lastly, people have left positive Confetti reviews across Facebook and Google, saying that they enjoyed the team-bonding events planned for them. The equation is pretty simple: a happy employee is a productive employee.
