“Spend the extra money to get this unit. I got a unit half the price of this and about 90% of the vacuumed sealed packages leaked after 24 hours. I returned the unit and got this. So far after about 20 sealed packages, zero leaks. Unit works great, easy to seal, easy to vacuum.”
Well, there you have it, folks. People really like this brand and its products. None of the sites spoke too much about customer service, but from what I can see, shipping is pretty standard and so are returns, though some queries sometimes seem to slip between the cracks.
Is FoodSaver Legit?
FoodSaver is definitely a legit brand, but it does look to have some trouble in the customer service department. None of the 20 complaints made to the Better Business Bureau have been answered, which obviously isn’t ideal. The most common complaint was about difficulties making a return.
Is FoodSaver Worth It?
If cutting down on food waste is important to you, FoodSaver is worth it. Why this brand and not one with cheaper products? Because according to customers, these vacuum sealers are superior and worth the money. End of story.

What is FoodSaver’s Return Policy?
FoodSaver has a 30-day policy that allows for returns as long as the product you are sending back meets certain conditions. Here’s what’s non-negotiable:
- You submit a return request before the 30 days are up
- You get an RMA and send the items back on your own accord – shipping fees are your responsibility
- Your item was not final sale
After you fill out the online form, you will be sent an RMA and a prepaid shipping label. Though the label is prepaid, the shipping amount will still come out of your refund amount.
