Overview of Padmate

Padmate Review

Things like TV shows, podcasts, our favorite songs, and video calls all become more meaningful when we are truly able to hear. In order for us to be truly present, sound quality and noise canceling features are important. With this in mind, Padmate was born.

Padmate has been spearheaded by Harda Group since 2010, a company focused on innovative design and product development. In the past 11 years, the brand has released top tier versions of classic earbuds and headphones.

That being said, Padmate focuses on “accelerating the delivery of high quality consumer electronics products from the concepting stage onwards.”

Now that we know about the brand’s origins, this Padmate review will quickly go through some highlights of the shopping experience!

Padmate Review

Padmate covers all of your listening needs with its noise-canceling, over-the-ear, in-ear, and wireless headphones. The products feature sleek, minimalist designs while belonging to a reasonable price range.

Padmate Earbuds Review

Choosing the right pair of earbuds can be hard; of course, they have to be comfortable and provide crisp sound quality. If they’re wireless, they need to have good Bluetooth connectivity and a long battery life. For those who are unsure of where to start, this Padmate review is here to demystify the brand’s most popular options.

Padmate PaMu Slide Plus Review

The Padmate PaMu Slide Plus bluetooth earbuds are seriously hard to compete with. They have a 60-hour battery life and it only takes 5 minutes to charge for one hour of battery life. On top of that, they deliver incredible sound quality and bass.

They come with lots of different features, such as a button that enables you to take calls, skip songs, or change the volume. There are 6 differently sized ear tips for that perfect fit. Additionally, they are water-resistant, so you can get a rigorous workout in without being concerned about sweating.

The Padmate PaMu Slide earbuds are available in three color options: sleek black, snow white, and forest green. You can choose between two options: one has a wireless phone charger built in and is currently on sale for $70 from $200. The other option has everything but the wireless phone charger and is on sale for $60 from $170.

Padmate PaMu Slide Mini Review

Tired of bulky headphones that are hard to carry around when you’re not wearing them? You’ve heard the phrase ‘small but mighty’! The Padmate PaMu Slide Mini remains true to the name— they are super small and compact, but pack a powerful punch.

This option is great for anyone who doesn’t like to carry a bag. The Pamu Slide Mini fits easily into your pockets. You can also store them in a pencil case and bring them to work or school.

These Bluetooth earbuds have a 30-hour battery life, so you won’t have to charge them for days; but when you do, it only takes 5 minutes for one hour of life! They are also water-resistant so no need to fret about getting caught in the rain on your nightly jog. They also come with 6 different sized ear tips so you can adjust them accordingly.

These Padmate earbuds come in four different colors, from classic black or white, to mint green or soft pink. Like the PaMu Slide Plus, you can opt for a combo with or without the wireless charger. The earbuds are on sale for $39 from $99, while the earbuds and charger are $49 from $109.

Padmate PaMu Quiet Review

Need a little quiet time in your life? The Padmate PaMu Quiet earbuds are noise canceling, so you can take your call in peace or watch a movie with no outside disturbances.

The noise canceling only makes the sound quality better, as the deep bass will be the only thing you hear. It’s even backed by NBA stars who are able to get their head in the game with these earbuds in!

The round leather case has 90s vibes, so you can feel like you’re carrying around a walkman. The earbuds are also made specifically to avoid the uncomfortable pressure feeling, so you can wear them for as long as the battery lasts (we don’t recommend sleeping in them though!).

These Padmate wireless earphones are available in carbon black or snow white for $120

Padmate PaMu Nano Review

Gone are the days of bulky, tangly wired headphones with the Padmate PaMu Nano earbuds. Not only are these earbuds comfortable to wear, but the design is also quite inconspicuous.

The triangular shape fits into the curvature of your ear perfectly, so an intense workout or heavy jog won’t knock them out of your ears. They’re also waterproof, so if you accidentally jump into the pool with your headphones on you’ll be okay! (Trust me, I’ve done this and wish I had these).

With these earphones, you can also opt for the wireless charging pad in black, white, or green. The headphones alone are on sale for $49 from $69, while the combo is on sale for $59 from $79.

Padmate Headphones Review

If you prefer the classic over-the-ear headphones, you know it’s important that they have good sound as well as soft padding and a comfortable fit. To help you decide which ones are right for you, this Padmate review will now take a look at some of the brand’s most popular options.

Padmate PaMu Explore Review

PaMu Explore are over-the-ear headphones that you can use for meetings, playing games, or watching movies because they are great at blocking out ambient noise. There’s also a microphone so you can easily communicate with others.

The headphones feature a modern design with a smooth architectural black structure. The Bluetooth connectivity, deep bass, and 27-hour battery life allow you to have the best listening experience. Also, the large ear cups and comfortable soft padding around the ears and on the top of the headphones ensure optimal comfort.

These Padmate headphones are available in carbon black with red LED lights for $89.

Padmate Earphone Charging Case Review

Need a replacement case for your PaMu Slide, Mini, or Unique earbuds? No problem! The Padmate Earphone Charging Case has you covered.

If you’ve ever lost a case or headphone, you know that most brands require you to purchase the entire item again since lost items are not covered under warranties. Padmate is aware that sometimes things get lost, but that doesn’t mean you should have to repurchase an entire new piece, which is wasteful both moneywise and for the environment.

You can choose between green, black, or white for $35 (a wireless charging pad is included in this price).

Padmate PaMu Charging Case Review

Similar to the PadMate Earphone Charging Case, the Padmate PaMu Charging Case is a replacement case for your PaMu Slide, Mini, or Unique earbuds!

This case has a bit of a twist though, featuring a cylindrical design and cool colorful options. The designs are a little bit galactic and super textured, inspired by graffiti and lacquer painting. You can choose from A and B, both of which come with three different styles.

Option A is a little more moody, with darker colors like red and black, while Option B looks more like bright abstract art pieces. This charging case also comes with a wireless charging pad, as well as a charging cord and new eartips, for $49.

Padmate Hercules Mecha Speaker Review

You haven’t seen a speaker like the Padmate Hercules Mecha Speaker before. This design gives us Sid from Toy Story vibes.

While this speaker comes fully assembled, it can also be disassembled or changed. It comes with extra parts, as well as all the tools you’ll need for switching it up. If you love a little DIY and industrial design, this is the speaker for you.

In the end, you’ll get something a little Mike Wazowski turned electronic. This Padmate Hercules Speaker will definitely be the talking point in your home for $69.

Padmate Wireless Charger Pad Review

Ahhh, the Padmate Wireless Charger Pad we have been talking so much about! You can purchase it separately as well as in a combo.

This charger pad features a sleek black design so you can easily hide it away. It’s super convenient since you can just sit your phone on it before bed, or charge your earbuds on it. It also has temperature control features so you can have peace of mind knowing it will charge your devices more effectively without overheating.

The Padmate S10 Wireless Charger is only $15 by itself, but you’ll get a deal if you purchase it with earbuds!

Comparison: Padmate vs. Treblab

Padmate Review

Padmate isn’t the only company on the market that offers quality headphone options. This Padmate review will now compare our featured brand with Treblab to help you decide which one is the best choice for you.

Both brands offer more recent developments as they entered the market around 5-10 years ago, but Padmate seems to be the more popular choice as they have a wider audience. Padmate’s products are marketed to everyone with simple designs, while Treblab leans towards working professionals who need something sleek and minimal.

Like Padmate, Treblab carries a selection of headphones, earbuds, speakers, as well as a few other electronics like a handheld massager or air purifiers. They also have a low price range, so you won’t be paying more than $100 for a new pair.

There are a few more options when it comes to products at Padmate. If you tend to lose things, you can buy earbuds and charging cases separately so you don’t have to repurchase the entire product.

Accessibility is important to both brands as they strive to create innovative yet affordable products. They also provide free shipping and some great promotions.

If you’re on the hunt for a new pair of headphones or earbuds, or any accessories, these brands have great options. Padmate does offer a little more options at a lower price, so it all depends on what you’re looking to purchase and what you’re looking to spend!

Padmate Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Padmate Review

Overall, this Padmate review found that these products are well loved. It is evident that the brand is constantly improving on design. They are tailored to people’s needs and have features that make customers happy—like noise cancelation.

On the brand’s website, one 5/5 star reviewer talks about how they keep coming back for more: “I have the PaMu Slide and just got the PaMu Quiet Mini before my trip and they’re awesome! The transparent option along with the ANC noise canceling work great and were the only things missing from the slide. These both have better sound quality then my airpods did!”

The brand receives an overall rating of 3.7/5 stars out of 165 reviews on Trustpilot. Many reviewers outline their appreciation for how the headphones meet all their needs. They also commend the brand for a quality that is hard to beat!

One customer left a 5/5 star review on Trustpilot, saying that the headphones were amazing and that “The best sound experience I had with headphones was with Pamu headphones. I purchased the Pamu Quiet Mini and fell in love with their sound quality, design and noise cancellation. Simply perfect! I don’t live without my headphones anymore”

Another 5/5 star reviewer documented a great experience with customer service as well as their purchase, stating, “I got my earbuds a month back. Customer service is very good with rapid shipping service in this pandemic. Had some doubts before buying but once you use these earbuds, clear all my doubts. Great sound experience, excellent noise cancellation. Rapid connectivity and durable battery autonomy. For this price, definitely worth it. Recommend for use.”

A small pool of reviewers expressed some problems with faulty devices or wanting to return their items. Padmate does offer a 30-day return period, so you don’t have to worry about changing your mind. As for the faulty devices, the brand has a 1-year warranty, but more on that later!

An article on the CNBC compared the PaMu Slide with Apple AirPods, remarking that “the sound quality was better than Apple AirPods, the battery lasted longer, the charging case can charge my cell phone and the earbuds are perfect for the activities I like to do, like going to the gym and riding the subway.”

All in all, customers seem extremely happy with their purchases. Not only does the brand produce top tier headphones that measure up against the competition (and then some), but also come at an affordable price.

Padmate Review

Where is Padmate made?

Padmate products are made by its mother company, Harda Group, which operates out of Xiamen, China. There are multiple factories in China that produce Padmate products, but the brand also has warehouses in the US and Germany.

How do you charge Padmate?

Charging Padmate products is super easy—the same way you would plug in your phone to charge it!

  • Earbuds: ensure they are in the charging case and then plug the charger into the case
  • Headphones: plug the charger into the port on the headphones

If you do choose to purchase the wireless charger with your earbuds, you can charge them as well as your phone on the charging pad!

How do you reset Padmate?

Need to restart your headphones? This Padmate review will walk you through the steps.

To reset Padmate earphones, you first need to ensure that they are holding a charge, so plug them in and watch for the charging light.

Look for the small hole on the inner side of the earbud. Use a small needle to press the button located inside the hole, as that’s your reset button. Hold the needle there until the light flashes blue and red.

After you have reset them, tap the button on the earphone twice. It should flash blue and red. Repeat this process if it doesn’t work on the first try!

What is Padmate’s Shipping Policy?

Anxiously awaiting your new Padmate headphones? Luckily, the brand has fast and tracked shipping! Your item should ship within 1-2 business days.

Shipping is free for orders over $90. Otherwise, it can range between $8–$18 depending on where you live.

What is Padmate’s Return Policy?

If you have any issues with your Padmate order, you can easily cancel it. Alternatively, the store allows customers to exchange or return unopened products in like-new condition.

Unfortunately, the buyer is responsible for covering return shipping costs; a tracked method is recommended to avoid a lost package. The refund should be received within two weeks, while you can expect your exchange to be shipped once the company receives the original product.

The brand also has a 1-year warranty that will allow you to return and receive a refund or exchange a defective product. The brand asks that buyers with faulty products email customer service for further help and information.
