About RVezy

RVezy Review

Ever dream of abandoning society and becoming a mole person in the middle of the woods? Well, with RVezy, that dream can become a reality. With RVs available for rent all across North America, your next adventure is just a few clicks away.

Or, maybe you’re tired of living like a recluse and are ready to settle down in the suburbs. You don’t need to get rid of your RV. Just list it on RVezy and make a bit of extra cash.

Apparently, RV users only use their RVs 1% of the year, so a concept like this is a win-win for renters and owners alike.

The company jumped from a $100,000 to a multi-million dollar enterprise after its appearance on Canada’s Dragons Den and is now a front-runner in the world of RV rentals.

In my RVezy review, I will take a deep dive into their website and service, then look at customer experiences and more to help you decide if your next vacation is in that villa in the south of France, or traveling the country in an RV, at one with beautiful mother nature.

Overview of RVezy

RVezy Review

Mike McNaught and Will Thompson, veterans from Ottawa, Ontario, began RVezy in 2016 after realizing the success they were having to rent out their own personal RVs.

Although renting RVs is not new, having a platform like RVezy that offers secure payments, insurance, and comprehensive background checks has created a safe, new way to travel

Their mission is to provide amazing customer service, share RV knowledge, and “bring together like-minded people who help…create an ecosystem that allows travel and vacationing in an RV to be accessible, reliable, safe, and easy.”

Depending on what type of trip you’re looking to book, there really is something for everyone. If you’re not looking to drive, you can actually have the RV delivered to your campsite (for an additional cost), so the only thing you need to worry about is if you remembered your bug spray.

If you don’t need all the glitz and glam of a full Class C motorhome, why not try a campervan and let the wind take you where it will? Smaller vehicles don’t have to mean smaller adventures.

The website is easy to use, with filters that help you narrow down your search. But of course, nothing is perfect. So let’s get to the highlights section of my RVezy review before getting into more info.

Highlights

  • Easy RV rentals across North America
  • Selection includes motorhomes, towable RVs, pet-friendly RVs, and more
  • 24/7 roadside assistance
  • Insurance for owners
  • Background checks that promote safe transactions
  • Top-rated customer support

RVezy Camper Trailer Rental Review

Planning a vacation isn’t easy. First, you have to pick a destination. Then, where to stay. Then, pack 400 outfits because you never know what to wear. No? Just me? Well, at least my RVezy review will help you pick a place to stay, anyway.

There are multiple types of RVs available for rent: towable, motorhomes, pet-friendly, stationary, and even those available for delivery! So let’s dive (or drive) into it, shall we? Here’s a list of the categories of RVs I’ll be featuring in my RVezy review.

RVezy Towable Trailer Rental Review

Why stay in one location when you can hook a home right up to the back of your car and see the sites? Towable trailers come in all shapes and sizes, from just a bed to basically a one-bedroom apartment.

Hit the road with your own wheels, and the comfort of home trailing just behind. Both travel trailers and hybrids are available for rental.

Prices seem to range from $50 to $160 per night, with amenities like a full bathroom, kitchen, etc, varying from trailer to trailer.

RVezy Motorhome Rental Review

Start your engines, ladies and gents, the open road is calling! With a selection of campervans, and Class A, B, and C RVs, you will really believe that home is where the motorhome is. Writing my RVezy review, I’ve had to stop myself from booking a campervan and driving across the country more times than I’d like to admit.

Prices seem to range from $100 to about $300 per night, with amenities like a full bathroom, kitchen, and more which vary from trailer to trailer.

RVezy Pet-Friendly RV Rental Review

I haven’t even written this section of my RVezy review yet and I’m already sold! I can’t be the only one who has separation anxiety from their dog. Never feel the guilt of going on vacation and leaving your fur baby at home again with a Pet-Friendly RV rental!

Whether your golden retriever is in the passenger seat, or your tabby is snoozing on the bed, you’ll rest easy no matter where you are knowing you’ve got your best friend by your side. Choose between campervans and Class A, B, and C RVs.

Prices seem to range from $170 to $300 per night, with amenities like a full bathroom, kitchen, or others varying from trailer to trailer.

RVezy Deliverable RV Rental Review

You can get food delivered, so why shouldn’t you be able to get an RV delivered? For an extra fee, many owners will deliver your rental straight to your door. Be sure to check each individual listing for the price of the RV and the delivery fee.

RVezy Stationary RV Rental Review

These were the ones that enticed me the most while writing my RVezy review. Do you want the rustic feel of camping but prefer it with a bit more glam? Or maybe you like the appeal of a trailer but don’t feel like driving? Maybe you should give a stationary RV a try.

Coined as an “RV Cottage”, it really is the best of both worlds. Stationary RV rentals seem to only be currently available in Canada.

Prices range from $100 to $135 per night, with amenities like a full bathroom, kitchen, and more depending on the trailer you choose.

Who Is RVezy For?

RVezy Review

RVezy is for anyone who loves a good ol’ RV experience. But more specifically, you should probably own an RV if you put one up for rent. Also, having a valid license, a credit card, and no criminal record is required to rent, so being an adult helps, too.

But really, RVezy is for those who love to adventure. If you don’t like to be tied down when you’re on vacation, rent a Class C and hit the open road. Or maybe you’re a touring band and want to save money on hotels. Rent a campervan, load up your gear, and rock on.

If my RVezy review hasn’t convinced you yet, the next section will break down exactly how the booking process works.

How Does RVezy Work?

RVezy Review  1

In a nutshell, RVezy is like the Airbnb of RV rentals. Here’s what I mean.

To start, you’ve got to pick your destination. You could throw a dart at the map and see what happens, but it might be easier to look at what’s available on the RVezy website.

Select the dates you wish to travel, and their website will show you which rentals are available. You can use filters to help narrow down exactly what you’re looking for, like pet-friendly, delivery, etc.

Once you’ve decided where you want to go and when you can submit requests to rental owners with your desired dates. The owners will then let you know if they approve or deny your request.

The website suggests you submit multiple requests for different rentals to raise your chances of having a place to stay. Once you’ve been approved, you’ll have the chance to suss out the cut of the owner’s jib and decide if you would be a good fit!

If you accept their approval, get your deposit in quickly as the rentals are first come first serve. Payments are made through direct deposit: 50% is paid 24 hours after the rental start date, and the rest is released when the RV is returned.

Comparison: RVezy vs. RvShare

RVezy Review

RVezy is not the only company offering RV rentals. RvShare is another brand in the game. At first glance, both companies seem to offer the same options: pet-friendly, delivery, towable, mobile, etc. The first noticeable difference is that RvShare seems to operate exclusively in the United States.

The process of requesting a rental seems to be the same across both websites. Price-wise, things are pretty similar as well. This could be because RV owners use multiple websites for their listings or because the price for RV rentals is fairly standard no matter the platform.

For me, my preference is RVEzy because of its aesthetic and user-friendly web design

RVezy Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

RVezy Review

Ever find yourself spending hours reading the comment section on a Facebook post? Me too. That’s why looking up customer feedback is one of my favorite parts of writing reviews. The general consensus of those who’ve used RVezy was pretty positive. Here’s their average review score online:

  • VerifiedReviews: 9.2/10 stars from 2.2k reviews
  • Apple App Store: 4.7/5 stars from 928 reviews
  • Google Play: 4.4/5 stars from 633 reviews

One customer wrote a 5-star review on Verified Reviews that said: “Very easy to search for a vehicle that met our needs. Updates deadlines and other important information related to the booking are easily accessed through the booking system. Well done!!”

Another said: “I had a great experience with using RVezy.com, the app was simple to use and the communication was never lacking. I had no issues and thoroughly enjoyed renting a trailer through RVezy.com I would rent again and recommend this option to others.”

Finally, one customer was thrilled with their experience as well, including the company’s customer service: “Everything from start to finish was very good booking through Rvezy. The selection near me, the website, and all information and support were great. I highly recommend it and will definitely book again.”

As always there were a few negative comments here and there, but the positive review rating on Verified Reviews is 91%, so that says to me they’re doing something right.

Is RVezy Worth It?

RVezy Review

As I wouldn’t classify myself as an RV connoisseur, I did a bit of research for my RVezy review to see how they stood up against other competitors beyond RvShare.

It’s important to note that if you’re an American customer, the options available to you are a bit more limited than your relatives in the Great White North where the company was founded.

This could be something to consider when you’re looking to book a rental-another site that may have something better suited to your needs.

Another thing to consider is that RVezy seems to make renters jump through a few more hoops than other companies. A downside to the rental process is that owners can decline your request to rent if they don’t agree with your travel plans.

Many of the add-ons that could make your stay more hospitable, like delivery, propane tanks, or awnings, can come at an extra cost, and those add-ons can add up pretty quickly.

But, a great plus of something like RVezy is you’re not limited to one place like you would be with Airbnb, which makes your travel options almost endless. If you’re anything like me who doesn’t plan trips but enjoys flying by the seat of my pants, not being locked down in one location would be perfect for you.

All in all, I think RVezy is a great idea and a great company. Before writing my RVezy review, I never would have thought about renting an RV as an option for me, because I simply didn’t know a service like this existed, but when I’m booking my next vacation, I’m definitely going to consider checking our RVezy.

A successful company should find a product or service that isn’t overly saturated in the market, almost selling you something you didn’t know you needed, and I think that’s what RVezy is doing for those who love to travel and adventure.

RVezy Promotions & Discounts

RVezy Review

Because of the nature of the service, each rental price is dictated by the owner of the listing. That said, there are sometimes discounts for longer stays, depending on the owner.
