This section of my Secret Escapes review will focus on the consumer experience, so I’ll be covering what you can expect from the website.
The main appeal of Secret Escapes is their exclusive deals on luxury hotel rooms. Some of the rooms I found on the brand’s homepage were available for 41% cheaper than what you’d find on Booking.com or other accommodation websites.
The quality of the stays, based on the information Secret Escapes provides, lives up to the luxury tag. I found deals for country mansions in Buckinghamshire, England, all-inclusive South African lodges, and cruises in New Zealand.
If you want more than just a place to stay, you can look into some of the other excursions Secret Escapes provides. A few of these even include the price of the flight.
The “secret” part in Secret Escapes’ name refers to the fact that these deals aren’t available to the public, the company only offers them to an exclusive club. Thankfully, to join that club, you only have to sign up with your email address and it’s totally free.
You must live in one of the 21 regions that they cover to make use of these savings. Many of these regions are in Europe, including Germany, Switzerland, and Spain, while some are in Asia. I wasn’t able to find a full list on Secret Escapes’ website so I consulted with other Secret Escapes reviews to obtain that info.
How Does Secret Escapes Work?
At this point in my Secret Escapes review, you may be wondering how the company gets all of these deals since they keep the details under wraps. I’ll tell you what I did find though.
Their team handpicks all of the hotels, lodges, and stays on their website on a basis of looking for quality that comes around once in a lifetime. They negotiate with the owners of these stays because, as Secret Escapes claims, the hotels often have empty rooms, which isn’t good for business.
Secret Escapes acts as a medium between customer, experience, and boarding. They communicate with all three parties to satisfy everyone’s wants and needs.

Due to the high price associated with many of the bookings on Secret Escapes, you should only be checking out their stuff if you have the pocket change to splurge on a luxurious vacation.

The difficulty with talking about Secret Escapes’ legitimacy is that you can either be very charitable or very uncharitable to them. So I’d rather believe that Secret Escapes are legit, but the customer reviews don’t paint such an easy picture to decipher.
