Overview of Seed Heritage

Seed Heritage Review

Seed Heritage was founded in 2000, and began as a children’s wear brand with one storefront in Armadale, Victoria, Australia. Since then, they’ve now expanded to include a baby collection, women’s apparel, and later, a line for teens.

They aim to provide great designs, high-quality products, and exceptional customer service by offering a one-of-a-kind shopping experience. What may be most notable about Seed Heritage, though, is its sustainability practices.

Seed Heritage has developed a strict Code of Conduct in all areas of its supply chain. Any factories or suppliers they work with are required to sign a Code of Conduct ensuring that there is no:

  • Forced labor
  • Child labor
  • Safe working and living conditions (when applicable)
  • Fair pay for workers

A full transparent supplier list is available on its website, breaking down exactly which country produces which garments.

Seed Heritage is also a proud member of the Better Cotton Initiative. By 2025, the brand’s goal is to use cotton that is 100% sustainably sourced, either through the BCI, organic cotton, or recycled cotton.

They now have over 200 stores worldwide, in locations such as New Zealand, Singapore, and Hong Kong. What makes their stores unique is their layout. Its brick-and-mortar locations are composed of pods which are “key product sections inspired by [their] brand name”. This creates an engaging shopping experience for children and adults alike.

So now that we understand the brand a bit better, let’s move on to the highlights section of my Seed Heritage review.

Highlights

  • Clothing and accessories for women, teens, and children
  • Sell home items as well
  • Strict sustainable and ethical practices
  • Wide range of styles from basic to party-goer

  • International shipping

Seed Heritage Ocelot Textured Top Review

Meow! The Seed Heritage Ocelot Textured Top is THE perfect day-to-night transition piece. Pair it with its matching skirt for an effortless elegant summer look, or throw on a leather jacket to give this cat print pattern a bit of edge.

Sweet bow detail and frilled sleeves elevate this 100% cotton simple peplum top, while the off-the-shoulder style and elastic sweetheart neckline will make your collarbones the star of the show.

Available in sizes 6-16, it usually costs $65, but you can buy it now for $45

Seed Kids Review

Our minis may grow out of their clothes quicker than we can blink, but that doesn’t mean we need to sacrifice fashion! Seed Kids has versatile children’s wear for the little one in your life. So whether you’re taking the brood to the grocery store or dressing them in their Sunday best, there’s something for every occasion.

Children’s wear is where it all started for Seed Heritage, so let’s check out the Seed Kids best-sellers.

Seed Heritage Denim Dress Review

Okay, cuteness OVERLOAD. Your little angel will look absolutely divine in this white Seed Heritage Denim Dress. It really is the simple details in this dress that give it such character.

Dotting the front is silver snap fasteners, with a yolk detail cinching the waist. The puff sleeves give a little volume to contrast the structured A-line silhouette and round neckline. It’s also made with 100% cotton so it’s breathable and comfortable for any activity, whether it’s a playground playdate or a sunny family picnic in the park.

The Denim Dress is currently unavailable on the Seed Heritage website, but you can request to be notified when it’s back in stock. It’s listed at $32.

Seed Heritage Tie-Dye Sweater Review

The Seed Heritage Tie-Dye Sweater is to dye for (sorry, I had to) and is a perfect statement for your little boy’s fall weather with its warm amber hues. The slouchy style with ribbed trims makes for a comfy and cozy fit.

Made with 100% cotton, this style is designed to fade, so over time, each sweater will become one-of-a-kind. Sizes are available between 2-10, and as if this style couldn’t get any cuter, there are matching pants!

Make this adorable sweater yours for just $10 as it’s currently on sale!

Seed Baby Review

There’s just something way too adorable about tiny things. Babies are cute. Baby clothes are cute. Baby clothes on babies are cute. I love it all. Seed Baby brings the elegance and simplicity of its other clothing lines so your bundles of joy will have everyone swooning.

We’ll now check out some best-selling Seed Baby pieces in the next part of my Seed Heritage review.

Seed Heritage Linen Floral Dress Review

Your flower girl will brighten even the rainest day with this adorable Seed Heritage Linen Floral Dress. This dress softens with wear so it only gets more comfortable over time.

Like their other pieces, Seed Heritage nailed it with the details; the frill detail straps add a cute feminine flair, and the back horn button closure is delicate and discrete. The linen and cotton blend make this breathable number the perfect summer dress.

Available in sizes 000-2, you can buy this dress now for $19, marked down from $26

Seed Heritage Twill Overalls Review

There is nothing cuter than a tiny pair of overalls. There just isn’t. And not only are these so adorable you just want to eat them, but they’re also incredibly practical too.

With adjustable straps, you can ensure the perfect fit for your little man. The roomy style allows for layering, so it’s the perfect piece to transition from summer to fall. The Seed Heritage Twill Overalls are secured by snap fastenings and adorned with front patch pockets and crafted with 100% cotton twill.

Available in sizes 000-2, buy these babies on sale now for $23.

Seed Heritage Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Seed Heritage Review

To help us get a better understanding of the brand, I wanted to take a look at some Seed Heritage reviews from customers who have shopped with them. Here’s what I found online:

  • Knoji: 4.1/5 stars from 57 ratings
  • Reviews.io: 4.5/5 stars from 2 reviews
  • ProductReview.com.au: 2/5 stars from 205 reviews

It seems that customers are generally pleased when they shop with Seed Heritage. Here is what one customer on Reviews.io loved about their experience: “On-time delivery, and quick to sort gift voucher payment issues.”

Over on ProductReview, one customer had this to say in their Seed Heritage review: “I have ordered from seed a few times. No problems at all and the items have arrived and look like how they do on the website.”

While there were several positive reviews, there were also some complaints. Some customers complained about struggling with a confusing returns policy. However, that doesn’t seem to be shared by all customers, like this one who praised their product quality and delivery speed:

“First time trying this brand as it’s cheap through click frenzy. Found the size doesn’t fit and got a refund easily in-store. I ordered again online and I am very happy with the style/quality. Again, express shipping. I got my order within just 2 days.”

Overall, it seems that customers love this brand. There are a couple of things you might need to watch out for, but it’s always good to exercise caution when ordering from new brands.

Is Seed Heritage Worth It?

Seed Heritage Review

From what I found online, Seed Heritage may have some issues, but overall they produce high-quality clothing that you can rely on being sustainable which isn’t something you can say about a lot of fashion brands today. They are worth it.

What is Seed Heritage’s Shipping Policy?

Seed Heritage’s shipping policies are a little complicated but bear with me.

If you’re located in Australia, standard delivery is temporarily unavailable. Usually, an order $74 or less has a delivery fee of $6 ($99 AUD or less with a delivery fee of $8). For orders $75 or more, delivery is free ($100 AUD or more). Delivery time for standard delivery is between 2-11 business days.

For international delivery, Seed Heritage uses DHL delivery. In New Zealand, orders usually ship within 2-4 business days for $8 ($10 AUD), and in 38 other countries within 4-10 business days for $15 ($20 AUD). For orders over $186 ($250 AUD), shipping is free! Woohoo!

What is Seed Heritage’s Return Policy?

Seed Heritage has extended its 14-day return policy to 30 days for purchases made in-store and online. The product must be returned in its original packaging with tags attached, and you must still have your proof of purchase, whether it be a receipt or online confirmation.

Gift cards, swimwear, underwear/lingerie, hair accessories, cosmetics, and jewelry cannot be returned if you’ve changed your mind or it’s an incorrect size. Fault products require further investigation from a Seed Heritage staff member, but may be eligible for an exchange or a refund.

Sale and outlet purchases can be returned online by mail for a full refund, but sale and outlet purchases cannot be returned for a refund in-store. They can however be exchanged.
