We all have a height potential set out by our DNA, but TruHeight suggests that not all of us reach it because of nutritional deficiencies. Because a lack of nutrients can lead to hair loss and a lack of food to weight loss, it makes sense that in our early years, we might not develop to our full potential if we don’t get enough of the right nutrients.

TruHeight believes that reaching your “True Height” is 60% DNA and 40% nutrition. Since 70% of adolescents lack nutrients that are key to bone growth, by logic, feeding them those nutrients should mean they grow taller. Alongside a healthy, balanced diet, TruHeight fills the nutritional gaps created by your kid’s selective or vitamin-deficient diet.

TruHeight Ingredients

TruHeight has a total of four different products, each one with a different set of ingredients. For example, the Growth Gummies include a proprietary formula of calcium, vitamin D, collagen, 5-HTP, poria cocos mushroom, and Indian ginseng (or ashwagandha). The Growth Capsules have eucommia ulmoides bark and Solomon’s seal powder.

Let’s take a look at some of these star ingredients a little more closely:

• Calcium: using nanometer calcium for greater absorption, TruHeight may be able to increase the rate at which bones grow.
• Vitamin D: helps your body absorb calcium which, in turn, helps bones to grow.
• Collagen: present in our hair, skin, tissues, and bones, consuming more of it may help bones develop and grow.

Ingredients like 5-HTP and ashwagandha/Indian ginseng may help reduce stress and lessen anxiety. Solomon’s seal powder has been rumored to reduce inflammation in tissue and help it stretch. 

Finally, poria cocos mushrooms have antioxidant and anti-inflammatory properties.

Moving on to the Growth Protein Shake, it contains a full range of vitamins and minerals, including calcium, vitamin D, iron, potassium, and L-Taurine. It looks to be a more general nutritional product than the brand’s other growth formulas, providing you or your kids with their daily dose of vitamins and minerals to help them grow.

TruHeight Side Effects

TruHeight does not have any related side effects, nor did I find any while researching the brand. It appears that if you follow the recommended servings suggestions each day, you shouldn’t run into any issues, such as an upset stomach which has been linked to overconsumption of collagen.

Who Is TruHeight For?

TruHeight is for kids and adults under 24 years of age. It’s a supplemental formula that’s packed with vitamins and minerals essential to bone growth.

TruHeight Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

You’ve read about TruHeight and how it works, but I’m sure you’re wondering if it actually works. If so, you’ve come to the right place because this is the part of my TruHeight review where we look into customer feedback.

The first source we’ll check out is the brand’s official website where they have ratings for their products. Below, you’ll see the ratings for the ones I featured.

Even though the Growth Protein Shake was just released, it’s already had some great feedback. Take this TruHeight review for example:

“Now that my kid is using this every single day, he’s finally in the healthier percentile for weight. It’s been really hard to get him to gain weight, being a picky eater and all, but now he’s stronger than before, gained ten pounds, and his doctor isn’t worried.”

Weight gain appears to be one of the most common points of feedback among the reviews here, but some parents reported their kids are simply “less frail.” It certainly seems to make a difference.

To get to know their other formulas, next, I dove into the comments section for the Growth Gummies and found the following TruHeight review: 

“I wanted to try this product with my son to see if it would actually work. He’s been taking it and we have seen him get taller! He has been excited as he plays multiple sports and is shorter than everyone on his teams so we have seen improvements in closing the height gap! I would highly recommend this product.”

Many of the other comments for the Growth Gummies and Growth Capsules are similar. Parents really love that the formulas contain natural ingredients and nutrients like vitamin D and calcium. In addition, it sounds like they really work, and on that high note, let’s check in with customers who reviewed the gummies on Walmart’s wesbite. 

There, the Growth Gummies scored 5/5 stars by the 13 people who bought them. One TruHeight review read:

“My son is in 9th grade and wants to move from JV to varsity by next year. He’s not short for his class but could use a few extra inches in growth. He started taking them about 4 months ago and has grown two inches. I make sure he gets a full night of sleep and eats healthy but he is lactose intolerant so this is a great way to get him calcium.”

It’s a similar story among all the comments for the Growth Gummies on Walmart.com, so I thought it would be valuable if we checked in with a certified nutritionist to get feedback on the brand. 

The TruHeight review on Fit Healthy Mama looks at the brand’s Growth Capsules from a nutritional viewpoint, assessing them in terms of the vitamins and minerals they contain and how they relate to bone growth. In regards to the question of “does TruHeight work?” it reads:

“Yes, in theory, TruHeight should work to increase and optimize height in those that are lacking specific nutrients in their diet… For anyone who is concerned about the height or growth of their child, adding a supplement like TruHeight can help give you peace of mind that they’re getting the nutritional components necessary for growth.” 

While genetics do play a big part in how tall your child will get, TruHeight ensures they are getting the right vitamins and minerals to support them in that growth. After everything I’ve read for this section of my TruHeight review, it appears that their growth formula works. 

Is TruHeight Legit?

TruHeight is a legit brand sold in big-box retailers like Walmart. If you shop online, you’ll be able to benefit from the subscription price (up to 50% savings), but I’ll tell you more about that a little further down in my TruHeight review.

As for the legitimacy of the growth formula itself, TruHeight was developed by a team of nutritionists, chemists, and doctors, and has been evaluated by outside nutritionists as well.
