Now that I’ve gotten introductions and pros and cons out of the way, let’s get into the meat of my WPS 365 Business review. 

Features

The main appeal of WPS 365 Business is its ability to automatically facilitate file transfer across multiple platforms and devices, such as Windows, Andriod, Mac and IOS.

In our current year, most people work on at least two or three different devices and occasionally those devices come from different manufacturers and thus don’t inherently communicate with each other. 

The good news is that WPS 365 Business can connect your files effortlessly, so you should be able to open a file on your Galaxy Tablet, iMessage it on your iPhone, then make edits on your Microsoft Surface Pro laptop. This file synchronization can occur either through a Wi-Fi connection or local synchronization. 

Next up are WPS 365 Business’s collaboration aspects. Much like a Google Doc file, WPS 365 Business allows team members to link up and edit files together, simultaneously. There’s no need for edits to be suggested and await approval. 

For organization’s sake, WPS 365 Business employs CRM document management. It pools all files from all sources into a single database you can sort through and organize to your liking. CRM document management can also help save storage space by decluttering old files. 

Then, there are internal security measures that prevent leaks and remove files from employees who are no longer with the company. It takes a few seconds to take these files off of the WPS 365 Business memory, which can protect delicate information from passing into the wrong hands. 

How Does It Work

In this section of my WPS 365 Business review, I’ll cover the numbers and specs behind the service. 

WPS 365 Business permits users to upload files up to 2GB in size. Each user has a maximum storage space of 100GB, which is much larger than Google Drive’s 15GB. 

Users have the freedom to download up to 2,000 files at once, or up to 10GB in one session. If you delete one of those files after downloading it, you don’t have to worry about it being chewed up by the recycling bin. WPS 365 Business has an unlimited time period on their recycling bin in which you can go back and find old files. 

In terms of security, WPS 365 Business allows up to 50 users to collaborate on a project at once. If over 50 users, it will be in read-only mode. All document sharing and editing is facilitated within WPS 365 Business and your specific enterprise. Users can share the link to files or withdraw it with other enterprise members anytime. 

WPS 365 Business is especially useful for business owners or managers due to the amount of overview it provides them. From the homepage, admins can monitor their team’s overall structure and see how much data their enterprise uses. 

They also have access to information about the following:

• How active members have been
• Who are the team owners and admins
• Where documents from former employees lie
• The ability to set up team management

Cost

There are different tiers of WPS 365 Business, but regardless of the size of your operation, they all cost $5 per month per person. You’ll have to purchase a subscription for at least three people upon signing up, but you can try the service for one month for free. 

It’s unclear whether you need to sign up for a full year on the service for the free month’s trial to count. 

Who Is WPS 365 Business For? 

Since each WPS 365 Business user has 100GB of storage space, there’s no upper limit to how large of a team you can have with the software. Each user’s storage limit is separate so it won’t tax the team as a whole. 

Teams of any size can use WPS 365 Business, demonstrated by large-scale operations performed thanks to the service. 

WPS 365 Business Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Unfortunately, there weren’t enough WPS 365 Business reviews from customers to assemble a cohesive idea, so I turned to reviews about Kingsoft’s other software for information.

There will be a bit of reaching and stretching here, but looking at WPS Office review scores should help us see what customers liked and disliked about Kingsoft’s products. 

As of June 2023, WPS Office holds positive customer review scores across the board. Here’s a collection of aggregate user scores from multiple websites:

• Trust Pilot: 4.8/5 stars based on more than 880 pieces of customer feedback
• Trust Radius: 4.6/5 stars based on more than 20 pieces of customer feedback
• Capterra: 4.5/5 stars based on more than 1,300 pieces of customer feedback
• G2: 4.4/5 stars based on more than 260 pieces of customer feedback

Most customers compared WPS Office to Microsoft Office. Shocking, I know, but that’s because they usually drew positive comparisons, citing WPS Office’s low price point and generous functionality as highlights. 

One customer on Trust Pilot said, “To be honest, this platform is so reliable, accessible, and easy to use. It always keep you working on your project; it does not annoy one by asking for key or something else. In addition, it provides good and latest features, which fulfil every requirement of the client.“

Other WPS Office reviews from customers commented on how user-friendly the program was. They felt it was extremely easy to use to the point that they didn’t have to give it much thought.

Whether it was sharing files between coworkers (a key feature of WPS 365 Business) or editing documents, it worked as smoothly as butter on a hot piece of toast. 

“As I’ve stated numerous times, wps just makes it all easier for me because of the ability to integrate with several different programs and files. We have thousands of members and I haven’t found a file type yet that I haven’t been able to convert!… The integration is the most important part or me. It is easy for me to import a report from a member and be able to change the file type and add it to the file needed,” wrote one shopper on SoftwareAdvice.

Some customers that were interested in WPS 365 Business and WPS Office were worried about the software’s Chinese affiliation. They wondered if the programs were safe for their private information. Thankfully, one shopper on Reddit wrote this WPS Office review that remedied those concerns. 

“It has a great compatiblity with Microsoft’s office suite and is really complete. On the feature ans user-friendliness I highly recommend. IIRC, they never had a real spyware scandal so far, so I always guessed it was pretty safe. Kept a bit of monitoring on my system and never saw anything weird either. Can never be worse than a Google Chrome though.”

Here’s a WPS Office review from a Reddit user that succinctly states how most customers few the software. “IMHO, WPS Office is much clearer for novice users. The interface is intuitive and you are unlikely to have problems using it.”

As I said, these reviews don’t correlate with WPS 365 Business specifically, but you can extend many of their sentiments to the service because the two are often intertwined, which is to say that most folks who use WPS Office also use WPS 365 Business. 

In addition, cloud services are amorphous entities that are difficult to review. Their goal is to share documents between devices, a task that’s decidedly less sexy than most software.

If it works well then it should work in the background. Much like good air quality, good cloud software should empower all your other activities and business ventures rather than standing out on its own. 

Plus, Google searches for “WPS 365 Business reviews” redirect to “WPS Office reviews,” and Google knows best, right? Jokes aside, it’s clear the two services are paired together more often than not, so conflating their customer reception makes sense.

While there was some suspicion surrounding WPS 365 Business and its data protection, all customer reviews point to legitimacy in terms of privacy and security.

It’s great since Google is everywhere, but doesn’t offer the most storage space for free accounts.

It’s the most technical of all the alternatives in my WPS 365 Business review, which is either a pro or a con depending on your proficiency.
