Overview of BKIND

Bkind Review

Marilyne Bouchard’s bachelor’s and master’s in microbiology resulted in her creating personal beauty products. Bouchard’s reactive skin didn’t take well to mainstream skincare, and she decided to utilize natural ingredients to tackle her skin concerns.

The natural approach combined with microbiology knowledge empowered Bouchard and led to BKIND’s creation in 2014. The Montreal-based company operates with a mission to be “respectful and thoughtful of everything around us” by promoting the power of plant-based, natural products.

The company is also Leaping Bunny Certified and recently introduced recyclable and durable packaging and biodegradable materials. In addition, they offer products in bulk at their boutiques and retail locations in Canada.

Now, I’ll steer this BKIND review into some highlights:

BKIND Skincare Review

BKIND’s skincare products range from facial scrubs to peel-off masks, and each product has its own skin-happy benefits. So let’s get into it!

BKIND Floral Face Moisturizer With Honeysuckle Flower Extract Review

The Floral Face Moisturizer With Honeysuckle Flower Extract will brighten and nourish your skin using ingredients like bitter orange flower water, sodium hyaluronate, and rosehip oil. It’s made in Quebec using the company’s cruelty-free ingredients.

The light cream will absorb quickly and leave you with a hydrated and glowy complexion. It can also help with elasticity with antioxidant-rich ingredients like hibiscus seed oil. Apply it after cleansing and on a damp face and neck for the best results.

A 45ml container of the Floral Face Moisturizer With Honeysuckle Flower Extract will run you $68.

BKIND Algae Peel-Off Mask Chlorella Aloe Vera And Ginkgo Biloba Review

The last skincare item in this BKIND review is the Algae Peel-Off Mask Chlorella Aloe Vera and Ginkgo Biloba. This mask is suited for mature, dull, or problematic complexions and takes just 10 minutes to rejuvenate and nourish the skin.

Chlorella is a type of algae typically used in food but has become popular in skincare for its high antioxidant levels. This peel-off mask reduces inflammation and promotes collagen production with B vitamins, zinc, Aloe, and more.

The mask is a powder that mixes with water to get a gel texture. Once dry, you can peel it off, compost the remains, and go about your day. No need to rinse! An 80g pouch (five uses) will cost $32 to add to your cart.

BKIND Nail Polish Review

Up next is the vegan BKIND nail polish. These varnishes are kind to your nails and don’t contain any harmful ingredients that are typically in mainstream polish. Healthy nail beds and guilt-free applications are a swipe away.

BKIND Nail Polish Une Cenne Review

Metallic polishes are perfect for the fall or winter, and the Nail Polish Une Cenne showcases a gorgeous copper shine for all of your holiday parties. It’s also a neutral tone that’ll go well with whatever you choose to wear.

BKIND polishes are 10 free, which means they don’t contain the 10 chemicals commonly found in regular polish. This includes parabens, formaldehyde, and animal by-products. With this polish, you can look and feel fabulous about your choices.

Apply 2-3 coats of the Nail Polish Une Cenne for the best results, and it’ll run you $10 (down from $16).

BKIND Nail Polish En Beau Fusil Review

Last up in my BKIND review is the Nail Polish En Beau Fusil. This rich and mysterious forest green is an excellent alternative to black polish. It’s not too dark and the ultimate color for autumn weather.

Similar to the last polish, the En Beau Fusil is free of harmful chemicals so that you can respect your nails and animals simultaneously. In addition, the color pairs well with gold jewelry and accents, so you can get creative with nail art if that’s your thing.

The Nail Polish En Beau Fusil costs $10 (from $16).

BKIND Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Bkind Review

Now it’s time for the fun part of this BKIND review: the customer testimonials. I searched the web for feedback to help you make an informed decision and came up with ratings on the main website and Facebook.

Here are the average star ratings for our featured products:

  • Floral Face Moisturizer With Honeysuckle Flower Extract: 4.8/5 stars from 36 ratings
  • Algae Peel-Off Mask Chlorella, Aloe Vera, and Ginkgo Biloba: 5/5 stars from 22 ratings
  • Nail Polish Une Cenne: 4.8/5 stars from 11 ratings
  • Nail Polish En Beau Fusil: 4.6/5 stars from 16 ratings

The Floral Face Moisturizer With Honeysuckle Flower Extract is the most reviewed and well-loved. Most comments are in French, but it’s clear that each reviewer loves the cream for its hydrating and friendly ingredients.

One customer writes, “I suffer from Environmental Sensitivities so every personal product is researched and still, that can pose a risk of reaction to something – when I find the right product, I stick with it and pray they don t change the formula! This cream works…I would recommend this cream to anyone mature or youth, without hesitation!”

Another reviewer says, “This cream is rich yet not too heavy. Its delicate fragrance is delightful. My sensitive skin is tolerating this product very well. It will be a staple in my skincare lineup for sure!”

The brand’s Nail Polish En Beau Fusil also garnered positive reviews. One customer writes, “I used this nail polish on my toenails and it started to peel off after about 8 days and only on my big toe. But still looks good after 2 weeks. so it s a good duration for toxic nail polish.”

Searching for BKind reviews on Facebook, I found that the brand rates 4.9/5 stars from 144 ratings. Their hair products get a lot of love along with soaps and other beauty products.

One reviewer says, “I started using BKIND products earlier this year and WOW I have not been disappointed. Love thair their skin line is produced locally with natural ingredients, vegan and all comes in recyclable packaging… Customer service has also been great, well done and keep up the good work! Definately give them a try.”

This natural skincare company is clearly doing something right. Customers continue to rave about each product’s quality and the results they got while using them. Of course, there are a few criticisms regarding results, but that’s common with beauty products.

Is BKIND Legit?

Bkind Review

BKIND is absolutely legit. Customers rave about the products and services they receive, and there is nothing that poses a red flag. There are a few minor criticisms, but they don’t knock the overall shopping experience.

Is BKIND Worth It?

Bkind Review

Reducing your carbon footprint while also caring for your skin is a win-win. BKIND embraces and promotes eco-conscious and vegan ingredients that are safe for even the most sensitive skin types.

Based on this BKIND review, I think the brand is worth buying. Many of their products are made locally in Quebec, and it seems like they yield great results regardless of the product. Plus, their commitment to sustainability contributes to a healthier planet and a guilt-free purchase.
