Overview of WeWoreWhat

WeWoreWhat Review

WeWoreWhat was founded in 2010 by Danielle Bernstein. Bernstein initially started a fashion blog of the same name while in college. The site steadily grew and led to the clothing brand’s creation, suddenly turning Bernstein from blogger to business magnate.

Before launching her brand, Bernstein studied retail at university before quickly transferring to the Fashion Institute of Technology in New York City. But, she dropped out to invest more time in her blog, launching the brand’s HQ in the Big Apple.

As we mentioned, Bernstein was featured in the widely recognized 30 Under 30 Forbes list at 24. She’s collaborated with different brands while developing her own collections and even published a best-selling book.

Following the onset of the pandemic, Bernstein created WeGaveWhat, which helped give platforms to smaller businesses, support charities, and frontline workers.

Now that you have some brand history, I’ll start this WeWoreWhat review off with some highlights:

WeWoreWhat Bikini Top Micro Wildflowers Review

The Micro Wildflowers Bikini Top does well in combining flirty and fun styles. The triangle top features adjustable, balanced straps and a tie-back closure, ridding you of the usually uncomfortable halter strings. It’s meant to flatter you in all the right places and is an adorable twist on the classic bikini.

The multicolor flower print is cute as can be. It takes inspiration from wildflower fields and reminds us of the warmest July days. It’s made from 85% nylon and 15% spandex for some stretch, and there’s even a pair of matching bottoms available. Who can resist a matching bikini set?

This WeWoreWhat bikini top will run you $95 at checkout.

WeWoreWhat Micro Wildflowers Sarong Review

Next in this WeWoreWhat review is the Micro Wildflowers Sarong. This mesh coverup would match perfectly with our previous item and will provide more coverage for your comfort. It’s designed with a waist side tie and offers a flattering silhouette for your next beach vacay.

The blue, orange, and pink wildflowers are bright and eye-catching. You’ll fall in love with the super-lightweight drape and soft nylon material. It also has scalloped edges, adding texture and overall charm.

The Micro Wildflowers Sarong costs $55.

WeWoreWhat Bucket Marble Hat Review

We all know that the summer season means you might become a victim of UV rays. The sun can be unforgiving, and the Bucket Marble Hat will keep your face protected. It has a downward sloping brim, and the black and white colorway is super trendy and funky.

The polyester bucket hat stays true to the classics. It has a topstitched brim alongside the eye-catching marble print. And thanks to the black and white design, there’s nothing you can’t wear it with. A white crop top and some high-waisted denim can be a great start to a hip outfit.

You can get the Bucket Marble Hat for $50

WeWoreWhat Bikini Bottom Scrunchie Gradient Delilah Review

Last up is the Scrunchie Gradient Delilah Bikini Bottom. These ruched swim bottoms feature a flattering high v-cut, elongating your legs while giving you some cheeky coverage. The gradient also reminds us of a sunset. The beach will be calling your name in these bottoms.

The scrunch effect is coming back. It adds dainty and playful energy that’s perfect for summer days. Plus, its design is super flattering and will be comfortable to wear with its nylon and spandex composition. To complete your poolside look, you can pair it with the matching gradient top on the brand’s website.

Say hello to summer evenings with the Scrunchie Gradient Delilah Bikini Bottom, retailing for $95

Who Is WeWoreWhat For?

WeWoreWhat Review

WeWoreWhat is for adult women looking for trendy clothing and accessories. The brand offers a vast collection of contemporary items that its target demographic would love. With that said, they don’t have a wide size range, so it might not be as accessible for plus-sized women. In addition, the pieces are on the expensive side as well.

WeWoreWhat Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

WeWoreWhat Review

This wouldn’t be a complete WeWoreWhat review if I didn’t look at customer feedback. So, I searched the internet for real customer ratings to help you make an informed decision. I found some on the company’s website, Us Reviews, and Trustpilot.

The brand received high praise there but has become a subject of controversy on external ones. But we can talk about that later. It has an overall rating of 4.9/5 stars from 9.87k reviews on its site, with customers loving their available styles and the materials they use.

Unfortunately, there aren’t any ratings available for the featured products. But, other items seem to receive high praise. One customer wrote about the look of one swim bottom: “Never wore a more flattering swim bottom!”

Another reviewer shared her love for their swimsuits: “They are literally the only suits I own now! The best quality and the styles are to die for!

WeWoreWhat Review

The store’s comfy shorts also seem to be a hit with consumers. One customer loves the boxer shorts: “Literally the softest material! I don’t want to sleep in anything else, and I can’t wait until there is another intimates collection – I’m going to buy everything!

Customers on the main site can’t get enough of this brand. But, while doing my research for this WeWoreWhat review I came across some criticism worth noting. I found some customers on Trustpilot that complained about the company’s long response times.

There’s also some controversy surrounding Bernstein. On Us Reviews, the brand has a 5.0/10 score, with one customer claiming that WeWoreWhat designs were stolen from smaller businesses. I should say that these comments are rare compared to positive feedback.

Is WeWoreWhat Legit?

WeWoreWhat Review

WeWoreWhat looks pretty legit. Customers seem happy with their items and praise the brand for quality. But, the criticism I found raised some red flags about their customer service. For example, some people had trouble reaching the customer service team after receiving their order. So that is something to watch out for.

Is WeWoreWhat Worth It?

Based on everything I’ve covered in this WeWoreWhat review, I’d go ahead and recommend shopping with the brand. They have good ratings for many of other items, and they’re super stylish.
