Luckily, Ace Hardware has been making hardware simple for 80 years. They offer great prices on the brands and products that can turn your house into a home.
With over 118k followers on Instagram, locations worldwide, and a decade-long award streak courtesy of J.D. Power, there’s seemingly plenty to admire about them.
In this Ace Hardware review, I will look at all of those aspects and more so that you can decide whether they’re the brand for you.

It’s astounding that Ace Hardware can promote themselves as being their customers’ local hardware store while mentioning that they have over 5,000 locations across the globe.
Both statements are true, of course, and they show that the key to their success has been accessibility and personality.
They’ve catered to the needs of average joes since 1924. They began as a conglomerate of other small hardware stores in the Chicago area, yet it wasn’t until the 1940s that they began seeing rampant success.
That success continued for the next 80 years as Ace Hardware continues to improve. Their latest large development was their 20/20 Vision. This project began in 2013 to use their vast network to fine-tune their customer service capabilities.
Without going into the details, it’s been a rousing success. It’s been such a triumph that J.D. Power has ranked Ace Hardware #1 for Highest in Customer Satisfaction with Home Improvement Retail Stores for a decade.
With a brand this large it’s difficult to gain an accurate picture by adopting a wide vantage point. That’s why I’ll go into detail on some of their products after the upcoming highlights section of this Ace Hardware review.

You can grill, and you can chill, but it’s better if you can do both at once. With that in mind, I’m going to present you with two of the finest barbeques that you can fire up while you stay cool.

The first item in my Ace Hardware review builds upon its predecessors, which may not mean much to those who aren’t privy to the history of grills, but it’s significant nonetheless.

What I mean is that it has unbeatable grilling capacity (it can hold up 13 burgers at once! That’s enough to fill me up for an hour), a cooking grate that allows easy access to the charcoal beneath, and a proprietary thermometer.
It also features a One-Touch cleaning system that can turn tidying up from a pain in your backside into a task that slides off of your back.

As any fan of smoked beef brisket will tell you, it can take a long time. Not everyone has the energy capacity nor the free time to sit around a smoker and ensure everything is perfect.

While a grill is great, it’s only one part of your outdoor decor. You have to take care of your lawn and keep it prim and proper, which is exactly what the lawnmowers I’ve included in my Ace Hardware review can do.

Its personal pacing settings don’t mean that it’ll do the work for you, but it does make it more of a companion rather than a machine you have to tame to get it moving.
That means that once you purchase this mower for $499 then you shouldn’t have to do anything more to make it your ideal lawn-care partner.

The next mower in my Ace Hardware review looks to bully the grass into submission. It’s built to handle the toughest and most stubborn of lawns with a 60-minute cutting time and an imposing battery output.
Additionally, the Ace Hardware EGO Power+ LM2102SP 21 in. 56 V Battery Self-Propelled Lawn Mower Kit (Battery & Charger) has a killer self-propel feature that can work alongside you.
You can adjust the speed at which it mows to match your pace. This is a huge plus because it means that you can get through your mowing routine however quickly you please.
Another thing I admire about this item is its weather-proof status. It should perform in rain or shine so you don’t have to abandon your lawn maintenance if it starts to shower.

This paint also produces little to no odor which is a godsend for those with sensitive noses. Touch-ups shouldn’t bug you for the next day because the Ace Hardware Benjamin Moore Ben Eggshell Base 4 Paint and Primer Interior 1 gal leaves little trace scent-wise.

Ace Hardware Benjamin Moore Regal Select Eggshell Base 1 Acrylic Paint and Primer 1 gal
The aspect that caught my eye about the Ace Hardware Benjamin Moore Regal Select Eggshell Base 1 Acrylic Paint and Primer 1 gal is that, in most cases, it’s a self-primer.
That’s great news if you’re not the biggest fan of paint jobs (I admit, I’m not either). However, this paint’s easy cleaning and gorgeous hide might make you want to start painting more.

As I just said, you can’t ignore some of the less-than-stellar reviews some people gave Ace Hardware. However, you also can’t turn away from all of the good qualities people brought up.
My conclusion is that Ace Hardware is worth it if you’re looking for a retailer that’s accessible, affordable, and offers plenty of opportunities to save money.
