In my GoPuff review, I will examine how the brand earned this attention online and numerous positive reviews by looking at its history, products, delivery process, and more so you can know if they are right for you.

GoPuff may be the most undergraduate student idea I’ve ever heard. That’s probably because it evidently came from university students who were trying to conveniently meet their most pressing needs.
Those students were Rafael Ilishayev and Yakir Gola, two sophomores at Drexel University who, in 2013, realized that they were having to run errands for their entire friend group because it was tough to find a vehicle.
Their solution wasn’t to free themselves of their friendly behaviors to serve other students who were in similar situations: people with needs for essential items but without the means to conveniently acquire them.
So, they created GoPuff as an online delivery service that could get groceries, snacks, alcohol, and other quick products into the hands of customers in half an hour or less. Today, GoPuff locations include most of the United States, Paris, and some cities in England.
I have barely scratched the surface about what makes this service distinct in today’s thriving gig economy. Before getting into my GoPuff review, let’s look at some of the brand’s highlights to see what makes them unique.

Let’s get into some of the most important details regarding this app in this section of my GoPuff review. I’ll discuss how the process works after covering a few essential points like price, time estimate, and what products they stock.
The brand’s low delivery rate is a breath of fresh air in the marketplace of delivery apps. GoPuff charges a flat $3 on all orders without ever surging the price during heavy hours. However, some orders are subject to an additional $3 if they contain products that are regulated by law (i.e. alcohol, CBD, tobacco, etc.).

Instead of going to stores to purchase and deliver the food on your behalf, GoPuff house all the items on their app in their locations. This means that drivers don’t have to go through stores they might not be familiar with or deal with restaurants that are experiencing slowdowns.
As such, GoPuff drivers stop at one of the brand’s locations, grab everything you’ve ordered, then drop it off at your place. This streamlined process eliminates many of the headaches and cuts down on the wasted time that usually comes from working with middleman restaurants.

The last portion of my GoPuff review was all about the shoppers, but let’s not forget about the drivers. Their job is much easier than that of other delivery services because they don’t have to communicate with any third parties.
Instead, their task is to pick up the assigned goods from the nearest GofPuff location and ensure that it reaches the customer on time. That task is made much more consistent because they don’t have to worry about slow-downs at restaurants or combing through store aisles.

While I wasn’t able to locate any GoPuff discount codes while conducting my research, I noticed that similar to other delivery apps, GoPuff does have a rousing list of discounts.
Some of these are for specific categories of products like a 25% discount on all chocolate bars while others are packaged deals like a “2 for $6” sale on Gatorade.
These sales seem to fluctuate depending on market demand and product availability, so I recommend keeping an eye on their app.
