The brand has over 5.6k Instagram followers and a strong global presence as they’re available in more than 100 countries. In my Keter review, I will examine what makes them so popular by looking at their history, products, customer reception, and more.

So, it’s about time I tell you how Keter came to be. The brand established itself in 1948 in Israel. As time went on, they expanded their business across borders and oceans as well as developed new technology like injection molding, core extrusion, and rattan-style surface finishes.
The brand took its name from the Hebrew word for “the Crown.” You can either interpret that as the company patting themselves on the back and proclaiming their royalty or as their way of reminding you that your yard is a royal place that is to be respected. Either way, I dig it.
I also dig how accessible their products are. As I mentioned, Keter sells goods across the world. More specifically, they distribute their furniture to people in over 100 countries and they have factories and manufacturing plants in 18 different nations. This means you’re never too far away from having a Keter item become the crown jewel of your backyard.
Not only have their products garnered plenty of devoted customers, but they’ve also starred on popular shows like The Today Show and HGTV’s Property Brothers Celebs IOU.
Even with all that being said, there are still some highlights I haven’t covered. Let’s talk about those in the next section of my Keter review.

The Keter Denali Deck Box solves a problem that many good parents hopefully recognized upon reading about the necessity of proper storage. That being, storage is only useful if you can easily access what’s inside.
Thankfully, this deck box is easy enough to open that even your toddlers should be able to collect their goodies without requiring your help. It weighs itself down so it can gently close so that children shouldn’t injure their fingers trying to maneuver it.
But let’s forget about the kids for a second and talk about the Keter Denali Deck Box’s construction. It can store up to 200 gallons of materials inside its water-resistant polypropylene exterior. This external coating can protect against weather storms and wear-and-tear from regular usage.

The first shed I’m going to talk about in my Keter review is among the favorites of customers. The Keter Artisan Shed works hard to earn its reputation as an ideal product for its assembly and durability.

If you’re looking for something a little smaller and more traditional looking, of course, Keter has you covered. The Keter Darwin Shed looks like it’s out of an ice-fishing scene, but will look lovely in your backyard.
This 4’x6’ storage shed has minimal upkeep. Thanks to its Evotech composite material, this shed looks and feels like wood but is made to withstand everything Mother Nature could throw at you. You will never have to worry about your shed rotting, rusting, or peeling.
If that wasn’t enough, this shed features a lockable door and a handy ventilation grille. Just like other Keter sheds, the Darwin is super easy to maintain and keep clean.

Looking for a different outdoor storage solution other than the classic storage bin? While some of these Keter storage cabinets aren’t currently available on the brand’s website, you can find them elsewhere. That’s why I’ve decided to include them in my Keter review so you have an idea of this brand’s versatility.
Keter Boston Tall Review
The Keter Boston Tall certainly lives up to its name. It stands at 30.31” wide by 19.69” deep by 70.47” tall, which is a menacing stature. This means that it’s big enough to store all your worldly possessions.
While its size is certainly impressive, the main appeal of this storage cabinet is its toughness. It uses Keter’s polypropylene resin to protect itself and your goods. This material can withstand all forms of harsh weather and remain upright. Meanwhile, the resin coats it in a layer that can prevent chips and scratches from building up.
The inside is equally as protected as it has a rubber seal to repel both dust and humidity. These are both things that could damage the Keter Boston Tall and its contents, but this storage cabinet can prevent that from ever happening.

Keter Magix Tall Cabinet Review
The final item in my Keter review is a team player. The Keter Magix Tall Cabinet is a stackable storage unit that can attach to other copies of itself. You can attach them on top of each other or side by side, meaning that you can find different ways to make storage perfectly fit your living quarters.
Each Keter Magix Tall Cabinet can hold up to 66 lbs of equipment and measures 30” by 18.5” by 35.6”. Its relatively small size makes it perfect to hold smaller tools in one place. And since it’s not too big, you don’t have to think that you’re going overboard by stacking multiple on top of each other.
Speaking of stacking, the Keter Magix Tall Cabinet has metal-reinforced lids and floors for safer and more sturdy stacking. It can also support many copies of itself with its tough legs.

It doesn’t take a mathematician to see that these products are popular and loved by their customers. The main thing that people mentioned in their reviews was that the items were easy to assemble.
Here’s a humorous customer review that shows just how little effort most people had to put in order to assemble their sheds: “I’m a 40-year-old man child with decent hands-on building skills and I was able to build this by myself in less time than it takes to polish off a 6 pack.”
Another common point of praise was how sturdy and reliable Keter’s products are. I read many accounts of people trusting Keter to keep their tools safe during the winter and read very few reviews where Keter’s storage units disappointed.
As one customer said. “It is not anchored down, but the shed is about 250 lbs, with about 300 lbs of stuff in it. Remember, this is a $700 shed…not a $2000 shed…we had a hailstorm and 40-50 mph winds last week, it held up well!”
That review also mentioned something that others did too. These sheds were extremely durable for their price. Buyers were happy with how well the items held up, as one user said on Amazon:
“Good price. Good customer service, too. I was missing a few washers and had to contact the maker of the shed. No trouble; they were very nice on the phone, and mailed them out very fast. Received the package within days. A+.”
Unfortunately, Keter’s customer service did receive some negative reception. People said that employees didn’t do much to help them if they had a broken product or if a piece was missing from their item.
Interestingly, those same buyers wrote in their reviews that Keter’s items were still good and recommended them despite the subpar service. What this tells me is that Keter’s products were strong enough that people still said they were worth the potential difficulties with customer service.
Is Keter Legit?
Despite some customer service issues, this didn’t seem to even deter customers who experienced those issues. It’s worth mentioning for sure, but it doesn’t make me believe that Keter is a bad company. They and their products are legit.
Is Keter Worth It?
Keter has a bunch of things going for them. Their prices are fair, their products are popular, and they have decent levels of customer reception. Additionally, their items seem to be held in high regard by their customers. Given all that information, I think that they’re worth looking into if you want to improve your backyard.
