About Nood

Nood Review

Don’t get me wrong, I’m a solid believer in the ‘body hair is beautiful’ movement, but I can’t deny the confidence I get after a smooth shave. Plus, hairlessness goes well with mini skirts, dresses, and summer shorts. However, I’m not a fan of continuously waxing and shaving, so I’m quite thankful that alternatives like Nood exist.

Nood is an FDA-cleared hair removal device that can easily replace hot wax and razors. Meant to discourage growth, this bad-boy is designed for your legs, arms, pits, and face.

Nood is currently a hot commodity in the beauty industry, as its products have been featured in magazines such as Who What Wear, CBS, and InStyle. They also boast 24.6k Instagram followers.

Looking to end your days of accidental nicks? If so, perhaps this brand can act as a better alternative. In my Nood review, I will take a closer look at the company, its products, customer ratings, and more to help you decide if it’s worth your investment.

Why You Should Trust Us

Our mission is to help you make better, more informed purchase decisions. Our team spends hours researching, consulting with medical experts, gathering insight from expert professionals, reviewing customer feedback, and analyzing products to provide you with the information you need.

Overview Of Nood

Nood Review

Every so often, you’re met with the monthly pricklies. Leg hair is back to its usual forest form, your pits feature a dense growth, and let’s not talk about that peach fuzz.

While most resort to their regular routine of hot wax and shaving, Nood provides a mess-free alternative that ensures baby-smooth skin every time. It’s a permanent solution, which means you can practically say goodbye to buying expensive hair removal products after switching to Nood.

Given its name, you’d think that Nood is quite open when it comes to sharing its company history. Unfortunately, there’s not much to reveal about the brand itself, but here’s what I found.

Nood is headed by CEO Sam Garst and operates out of Austin, Texas. It made its debut in November 2020 to provide safe, simple, and effective products that you can confidently use at home and that are safe for your skin.

They first emerged with their flagship product, The Flasher. After its debut, Nood quickly took off, as their hair removal devices were considered a godsend by dermatologists, beauticians, and of course, regular customers.

Currently, Nood offers two different hair removal devices to choose from: the original Flasher and The Flasher 2.0. They also make beauty products such as The Revealer and Reviver for post-treatment.

In my Nood review, I’ll discuss these best-sellers so you can see if it’s worth getting your hands on. But first, let’s go over some brand highlights.

Highlights:

  • A curated selection of hair removal devices and beauty products to choose from
  • FDA-cleared and pain-free
  • Offers permanent hair removal with results showing in as little as 8 weeks
  • Positive customer reviews
  • Provides ShopPay as an alternative payment program
  • Free shipping on select items

Take this as an opportunity to conduct a tearful sendoff for your razor and pack of hot wax strips. They’ve done you an excellent service, but it’s time for a much-needed upgrade.

This section of my Nood review will feature a few of the brand’s best-sellers to help speed up your hair removal process.

Nood The Flasher™ 2.0 Review

Nood Review
Nood The Flasher™ 2.0

So, you want to wear that daring evening dress. Tonight’s number features a sultry thigh slit, a plunging neckline, and a backless design. It’s only natural to whip out the razor (or pack of hot wax strips) to ensure you have baby-smooth skin.

Instead of grabbing one of your usual go-to’s, The Flasher™ 2.0 is a more convenient alternative. Designed to eliminate pricklies, this device offers permanent hair removal in as little as 6 to 8 weeks!

You can take care knowing that this device is FDA-cleared and pain-free. Plus, it can be used to conduct bikini and Brazilian hair removal treatments, which removes the need to book expensive appointments.

If you’re wondering how this device works, this Nood best-seller is equipped with a high-intensity lamp, which discourages hair growth before it even starts.

Available with a UV-filtered lens to block harmful UVB rays, The Flasher™ 2.0 retails for $189. It’s worth noting that it originally sells for $270

What customers are saying: “So happy to have finally found a hair removal product that works. It isn’t an overnight fix but man it does work. Thank you, Nood :)” – Lauren, nood.com

Nood The Flasher™ Review

Nood The Flasher™

When it comes to beauty products, we typically view some items as worthy investments. This includes indispensables such as makeup brushes, curling wands, and gua sha tools, which are meant to last forever.

Case in point, The Flasher™ by Nood can be another worthwhile addition to your daily routine. This device promises permanent hair removal in 8 weeks or less. Pain-free and convenient to use, you can practically say goodbye to razor nicks and hot wax residue.

Designed to work in as little as 10 minutes, The Flasher™ can easily pass the time if you’re waiting for hair and face masks to fully soak in.

It’s also set with 600k flashes, which should be enough to last you through countless sessions. If not, the brand will supply a handset at no extra cost. Price-wise, this Nood top-seller costs $167 instead of its original $239 price tag.

Nood The Noodist Kit Review

Nood The Noodist Kit

In some cases, self-care requires a bigger splurge. The Noodist Kit includes The Flasher™ 2.0, The Reviver, and The Revealer

It’s quite a pricey investment, but you can take care knowing that you don’t have to buy hot wax strips and replacement razors anymore. Considering that I discussed the hair removal device in full, let’s take a look at the other two products here.

The Reviver is made to protect your skin after the hair removal treatment. Enhanced with aloe vera, azulene, and lavender, it does wonders in calming your complexion.

The Revealer is a daily exfoliant that works to reduce ingrown hairs and irritation. It includes notable ingredients such as papaya enzymes and resveratrol to accomplish this.

If you’re looking to add The Noodist Kit to your cart, expect to pay $229 at checkout. It’s worth noting that it’s valued at a whopping $348

How To Use The Flasher

The Flasher is a device designed for hair removal that uses intense pulsed light (IPL) technology. Here are the steps to use The Flasher:

  1. Prepare your skin: Before using The Flasher, make sure your skin is clean, dry, and free of any lotions or oils. Shave the area you want to treat to ensure that the light can penetrate the hair follicles effectively.
  2. Choose the appropriate setting: The Flasher has five intensity levels. If you are using it for the first time, start with the lowest setting and gradually work your way up to find the level that works best for you.
  3. Place the device on your skin: Place the device on your skin and press the button to activate the light. The device has a skin sensor that ensures the light only flashes when in contact with your skin.
  4. Move the device: Move The Flasher to the next area you want to treat and repeat the process. You can treat most areas of the body, but avoid using the device on the eyes or other sensitive areas.
  5. Use regularly: For best results, use The Flasher once a week for at least eight weeks. After this initial period, you can use the device as needed to maintain your results.

It’s important to read the instructions that come with The Flasher carefully and follow them closely to ensure safe and effective use of the device.

Who Is Nood For?

Nood Review

Hair removal is a tedious regimen. Nobody likes spending time or money on pricey necessities such as replacement razors and hot wax. This is especially true for in-person appointments, which usually cost $100+ per session.

If you prefer peace of mind, you might be in the mood for Nood. This company offers a convenient and cost-effective solution for hair removal through its two key devices. Yes, they are quite expensive, but you should view these handheld gadgets as more of an investment rather than a disposable commodity.

Nood Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Nood Review

According to popular opinion, it appears that many customers are ‘going Nood.’ I uncovered thousands of positive comments on websites such as MomTrends, Reviews.io, and Amazon. To kick things off, I thought it best to go over some of the ratings posted on the brand’s official website.

While the brand doesn’t provide individual Nood reviews for each product, they show an overall score of 4.3/5 stars based on 476 reviews, provided by Reviews.io.

Customers reported that they were satisfied with their results after using Nood, as the brand’s hair removal devices did an adequate job of stagnating growth while leaving baby smooth skin. Others stated that it was easy to use and versatile in eliminating hair in various areas.

One customer wrote: I have been very impressed with Nood! My underarm hair is almost non-existent and my bikini line is def less hairy! I used to have multiple hairs per follicle on my underarm that would frequently get ingrown hairs – not anymore.”

I also found more Nood reviews on other websites. You can buy The Flasher 2.0 on Amazon, where it averages an impressive 4.6/5 stars over 94 ratings. The consensus is relatively the same here, as customers are quick to share their success stories with others.

As one Amazon user said: “It’s very compact and noise level is super low! I was skeptical at first when I read pain-free but after testing it out I was amazed. The user manual answers all your questions and is very detailed. I’m super thrilled to continue the treatments for 8 weeks.”

According to the blog MomTrends, The Flasher was easy to use and helped save time compared to traditional treatments: “Let’s start with the most important point. Nood works. I used The Flasher once a week for a month and noticed a significant difference. After two months, I stopped using it regularly since I had seen such a reduction in hair growth.”

It’s a well-known fact that finding the right beauty products usually comes with a lot of trial and error. Unfortunately, a few customers didn’t receive their ‘aha’ moment when it came to The Flasher and The Flasher 2.0. Some Nood hair removal reviews reported no results, but that varies from person to person.

Some also said the process wasn’t completely pain-free, but those comments were in the minority as well.

Is Nood Legit?

Nood Review

Despite the negative Nood reviews I found online, you can take care knowing that the number of negative ones is quite small compared to the number of positive ones online. Nood is legit.

Is Nood Worth It?

Nood Review

If your bathroom is stacked high with replacement razors and hot wax strips, Nood needs a lot less space in your cabinet. Since it’s designed as a non-disposable alternative, you don’t have to worry about getting backups every month.

Plus, the brand states that the device is completely pain-free when compared to the abrasive nature of traditional hair removal solutions.

Compact, beginner-friendly, and portable for on-the-go use, I highly recommend adding this best-seller to your daily self-care routine.

Nood Promotions & Discounts

Nood Review

Some of Nood’s select products, such as The Noodist Kit, are 30% off at the time of writing my Nood review.

Aside from this, there appear to be no other promotions and discounts offered by the brand. I suggest keeping tabs on the company’s social media for any future updates on special offers.
