About ONDO

ONDO Socks Review 1

If your socks slip off while you’re walking in your shoes, we’ll give your money back.” That’s ONDO’s promise. And having walked, run, and cycled more than a few miles in their socks without a single slip, I’ll definitely be keeping them.

I’m not the only one to jump for joy after pulling on a pair of ONDO’s breathable, no-show socks. The brand has been praised by big-name publications like Men’s Health and Cosmopolitan and has a social community of over 35k

For this ONDO Socks review, I was sent a pair of the Organic Cotton No Show Socks in black and white, along with the Premium Mesh Laundry Bag. I put both to the test, and here, you’ll read all about the process. I’ve included extra feedback, details on promotions, and FAQ as well so you get the full scoop.

Overview Of ONDO

ONDO Socks Review

ONDO means “temperature,” and therefore, ONDO is all about feeling. The brand was founded in 2020 by Daniel Shim who wanted to make apparel to “Elevate Every Movement”, starting with no-show socks. And what’s a more versatile and used piece of apparel than socks?

Yet, socks are one of the most confounding pieces of apparel there can be. I’ve bought no-show socks, athletic socks, dress socks, and casual socks, and let me tell you, very few actually stay up.

Creating socks that do stay up seems to be one of the more difficult tasks for companies to accomplish. Creating comfortable, breathable socks that stay up appears next to impossible. But then there’s ONDO.

The moment I slipped their Organic No Show Socks on, I knew they were different. I won’t give away too many details just yet in this ONDO Socks review, so let’s take a look at the highlights first.

Highlights

ONDO Socks Review

  • Lightweight & breathable

The highlights are a great way to get to know a brand from a distance, but if you came for the details, there are a ton to unpack in this ONDO Socks review. Let’s get into them.

ONDO Socks Review

ONDO offers no-show socks in organic cotton, merino wool, and low-cut styles. They also make yoga/pilates socks without toes. For this ONDO Socks review, I tried out the Organic Cotton No-Show Socks, and I’ll walk you through the details of their fit, feel, and construction below.

ONDO Organic Cotton No Show Socks Review

ONDO Socks Review

I really hate to be a spoiler, but I have a feeling you already know how much I like the Organic Cotton No Show Socks. I became seriously attached to them the moment I put them on.

Why would a grown woman ever have an emotional attachment to socks? Because I have a personal vendetta against pairs that slip off my feet while I walk.

It happened to me again just the other day in -14 degree weather, and I was reminded of just how annoying it truly is.

A first-world problem, I know, but if my socks are going to slip, I’d rather not be wearing them at all. So when I put on the Organic Cotton No Show Socks, I knew they’d be a game changer. You’ll know it too when you feel how secure they are.

My favorite part about them is that, though they are incredibly secure—they passed the shoe removal, walk, pants AND leggings test—they feel spacious like a shoe would, not saggy, but just really well-fitting. In fact, they kind of look like a Toms shoe in sock form.

Made with a touch of tech fabric called aerolite polyester, Lycra, and 62% organic cotton, these socks are incredibly lightweight and they were breathable when I took them for a spin on the treadmill.

Crafted with extra protection in the toe area, they’re designed with panels that lay flat and straight against your foot. I barely felt them on my walk or run. Honestly, I never thought I’d have so much to say about socks, but for me, ONDO is a different breed of socks altogether. You can grab a single pair in one of 9 different colors for $12, or buy them in bundles to save up to 20%

What customers say: “I have spent most of my adult life looking for socks I love. I am a sock enthusiast. Some are great for a day or two or even a few weeks or they work with some shoes but not others. ONDO works with ALL shoes. I FINALLY found the perfect sock!” – Amy J, Ondo.com

ONDO Premium Mesh Laundry Bag Review

ONDO Socks Review

I have a very old washing machine with a reputation for tearing holes in things. Because ONDO socks are thinner than others, I found the Laundry Bag incredibly useful.

I came to treasure my Organic Cotton No Show Socks over the first few days of wearing them and would hate to see any of them ruined.

Using a laundry bag is a good idea when washing any kind of delicate item, and since I tend to do just one load per week, there was plenty of space inside for all four pairs.

Speaking of space, the ONDO Premium Mesh Laundry Bag is the perfect size for traveling and can even fit inside your gym bag to store your sweaty clothes.

While I love the laundry bag for its size and use, more so, I appreciate the fact that it’s made from recycled polyester

Polyester is a super durable material, but it comes from plastic. Choosing recycled polyester means you can get the same durability while reducing plastic waste.

The Premium Mesh Laundry Bag comes in three sizes but you can also get them in a 3-piece set for a bundle discount.

What customers say: “Love the Ondo socks and the laundry bag is good for keeping them together in the washer. Very nice!” – Cynthia H, ONDO.com

What Are ONDO Socks Made Of?

ONDO Socks Review

ONDO offers socks in unique material blends for each of their products.

Their Organic Cotton No Show Socks are made from 62% Organic Cotton, 32% aerolite Polyester, and 6% Lycra.

Their Merino Wool No Show Socks are made from 69% Australian Merino Wool, 27% Nylon, and 4% Spandex. To ensure your socks stay in good shape, be sure to follow the care instructions included a little further down in this ONDO Socks review.

What Sizes Does ONDO Have?

ONDO Socks Review

ONDO has a wider range of sizes than other sock brands do. They don’t categorize them by S-M or M-L, instead, they get more specific.

While these socks do have stretch, they’re crafted differently than regular socks are, and for that reason, fit is very important. I’ll run you through the ONDO Socks Size Chart for both men and women here:

  • XS: Men’s 3-4 | Women’s 4.5-5.5
  • S: Men’s 4.5-6 | Women’s 6-7.5
  • M: Men’s 6.5-9 | Women’s 8-10.5
  • L: Men’s 9.5-12 | Women’s 11-13.5
  • XL: Men’s 12.5-15 | Women’s 14-16.5

How To Care For ONDO Socks

ONDO Socks Review

Like most things in life, the better you take care of ONDO socks, the longer they’ll last. This means following proper instructions on washing and drying, and thankfully, the brand lists them all online and they aren’t complicated. I’ll walk you through their tips below:

  1. Wash in temperatures up to 30C
  2. Hang to dry
  3. Do not dry clean
  4. Do not bleach
  5. Do not iron
  6. Do not tumble dry

Like any delicate piece of apparel, ONDO socks are simple to clean. The main thing to remember is to hang dry them only. While the brand doesn’t specify that you must wash their socks in the Premium Mesh Laundry Bag, doing so may greatly extend their life.

Who Is ONDO For?

ONDO Socks Review

ONDO socks are for anyone tired of no-show socks slipping off their feet. Theirs don’t. Full stop. Whether you need them for work, workouts, or walking, ONDO socks are perfect for all shoes (regular cut & low-cut versions) and all occasions.

ONDO Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

ONDO Socks Review

You’ve read what I think, but don’t just take my word for it. In this section of my ONDO Socks review, I’ll show you what a wide variety of customers think about the brand by rounding up feedback from across the web. Let’s look at some ratings from ONDO.com first.

  • Organic Cotton No Show Socks: 4.8/5 stars, 5,901 reviews
  • Merino Wool No Show Socks: 4.8/5 stars, 318 reviews
  • Low Cut No Show Socks: 4.6/5 stars, 474 reviews
  • Premium Mesh Laundry Bag: 4.9/5 stars, 129 reviews

I know this ONDO Socks review includes just the Organic Cotton Socks and the Laundry Bag, but I thought it would be useful to see the ratings for a few of its other styles as well. As you can see, they’re all rated highly.

I’ve tried several brands including Invisasox, but Ondo is my absolute favorite! I ordered more today. I like that they’re on the thinner side, but not too thin for my shoes. They stay in place without fail and the way they’re sewed it’s like they have a bed just for your foot. VERY comfortable,” one customer wrote in their Organic Cotton ONDO Socks review.

As for the Premium Mesh Laundry Bag, another said, “I love these laundry bags so much I am buying them to give friends and family. They are several steps better than any other laundry bags I’ve come across.

It’s true that ONDO’s materials—for both the Premium Mesh Laundry Bag and Organic Cotton No Show Socks—seem superior to other options on the market. You’ll know what I mean as soon as you hold them in your hands, and truly understand once you experience them in action.

The next ONDO Socks review we’ll check out comes from Reddit. It reads, “I love my ONDO socks, these don’t show at all under my sneakers and I love the way they fit my feet. It def takes some getting used to because they’re not like any other socks I owned, but now I don’t think I’ll ever buy another kind of sock.

The whole fit thing is a serious selling point for ONDO. Their socks truly aren’t like any other I’ve worn, and that has a lot to do with their fit. Because of this, they stay on your feet better and are more comfortable for walking and running

I found a lot of great feedback for this part of my ONDO Socks review, and from what I’ve learned customers truly value the fit and feel of their socks, along with the quality of all of their products.

Is ONDO Legit?

ONDO Socks Review

There are regular no-show socks, and then there are ONDO no-show socks. Using unique technology, they’ve created a one-of-a-kind sock that I think will totally change the way you think about socks.

The brand has been featured in numerous publications and has off-the-charts feedback. Though I appreciate their no-slip guarantee, I highly doubt anyone has ever had to use it.

Is ONDO Worth It?

ONDO Socks Review

Having worn the ONDO Organic Cotton No Show Socks with running shoes and my low-cut casual sneakers, I can attest to the fact that they really are no-show. But it’s their construction that really sold me.

Unlike other no-show, non-slip socks that put pressure on your heels and toes, ONDO’s socks are made almost like a shoe, i.e. with overlapping parts. This means that they won’t rip as easily at the toe, don’t dig into your heel, and give your toes enough room to breathe.

They were thin and breathable and didn’t slide around inside my shoe when I walked or ran, and honestly, I didn’t notice them much at all while walking around the city. So do I think they’re worth it? 100%.
