About Pareto

Pareto Review
@thehautehomemaker

When I first landed on Pareto’s website, it told me that women wear 20% of their closets, 80% of the time.” I’ve never heard a truer fact. As someone who rotates the same leggings and tees daily yet covets polished, put-together styles, right from the start, Pareto had my attention.

With just six items in its collection, you’d think that would be limiting. It’s not, and that’s the point. The pieces Pareto offers are made to be worn frequently. So not only are they versatile for that very reason, but they’re also excellent quality too and made from 100% organic cotton

But mine isn’t the only praise this brand has received. With the popularity of capsule collections on the rise, Pareto has found itself featured in Forbes and BuzzFeed

So what can you expect from this Pareto review? Coming up, you’ll learn everything you need to know about the brand—like info about its bestsellers and customer feedback—and more. Let’s dive in.

Overview Of Pareto

Pareto Review
@kelliehayden

Pareto was named after the Pareto Principle—the fact that we only wear 20% of our wardrobes 80% of the time. Zeroing in on the items we actually wear the most, the brand perfects each treasured piece and reduces our need to constantly buy more.

Pareto was founded in 2020 by Jess Landzberg and Olivia Putterman. These two friends had grown tired of constantly being frustrated when trying to figure out what to wear. Deciding to create a company that focused on quality instead of quantity, their well-made pieces for everyday use are minimal, but boy, do they make a big difference.

Pareto is based in Chicago but manufactures its clothing in California from 100% organic cotton only. Ready to learn more? The highlights are up next in this Pareto review.

Highlights

Pareto Review
  • Capsule collection of interchangeable pieces
  • Releases 6-8 pieces per year
  • Transparent production
  • Sustainable materials and manufacturing
  • Made from organic cotton
  • Made in the US

Pareto makes farm-to-closet fashion. You don’t hear that every day. But in reality, its entire manufacturing process is traceable—from where the brand grows its organic cotton in Texas to where it’s spun in North Carolina, and over to where it’s made in California.

Focused on creating high-quality, sustainable pieces to love and live in, this brand is totally changing the face of fashion as we know it. I’ll tell you all about its current collection up next in this Pareto review.

Pareto Clothing Review

Currently, Pareto has six items in its collection that can be dressed up or down. From an easy-to-wear tank to an ever-trendy field jacket, each piece is made from organic cotton and is designed to be interchangeable.

Pareto is the opposite of fast fashion. It releases 6-8 items per year, one at a time. I’ll tell you about its bestsellers next.

Pareto Your T-Shirt Dress Review

Pareto Review

I love dresses, I own dresses, but rarely do I wear dresses. Why? Because none of them are as versatile and effortless as Your T-Shirt Dress. It’s literally the perfect length—not too short, not too long—and it’s made from 100% organic cotton jersey

Tapered to your body for a flattering look, it’s machine washable and simply an easy-going piece designed for frequent wear. Your T-Shirt Dress comes in classic black, classic navy, hunter green, and cabernet red and costs $68.

What customers say: “I bloody love this dress. Good job, Pareto.” – Amanda, ShopPareto.com

Pareto Your Crewneck Sweater Review

Pareto Review

Crewneck sweaters will always be a closet essential. For WFH days or park walks with Sir Chesterton III (your dog, duh), Your Crewneck Sweater might just become the most-loved piece in your collection year after year.

It’s made from 100% organic cotton french terry. In other words, it’s lightweight but cozy and of fantastic quality. And since it’s preshrunk, you don’t have to worry about it getting teeny tiny in the wash. Just toss it in and go. Pick your fave color(s)—from washed black, ivy green, stone grey, and burgundy red—and purchase this crewneck for $78.

What customers say: “This sweater gets softer and more wonderful with time – it’s definitely a favorite in my closet, and can tell it will be for years to come. And it fits so well and dresses up or down!” – Lea, ShopPareto.com

Pareto Your Field Jacket Review

Pareto Review

When the founders of Pareto decided which jacket to include in their first collection, they chose well. A classic field jacket can be dressed up or down with leggings or a dress, and Your Field Jacket pairs wonderfully with Your Crewneck Sweater and Your T-Shirt Dress.

That’s something I really love about this brand. No matter what you buy from its collection, it works well with literally every other piece.

Your Field Jacket has a hidden drawstring to create an hourglass silhouette, and since it’s made from 100% organic cotton, it’s soft and breathable for everyday use. Add it to your wardrobe for $198.

What customers say: “Wear this jacket more than any other coat in my closet – it’s great for spring, fall, and even warmer winter days. It’s a closet essential and high quality that I know will last.” – Elizabeth, ShopPareto.com

Pareto Your Sweatpants Review

Pareto Review

The perfect pair of sweatpants didn’t exist, until now. Why are Your Sweatpants so perfect, you ask? Because not only can you wear them on the couch, but you can totally pass them off for tailored pants at work.

With a flattering tapered leg, they’re comfy and stretchy but look killer with a tee and blazer for casual Fridays. Made from 100% organic cotton french terry, you can wear these stylish babes all year round. Pick up a pair in classic black, classic navy, hunter green, or cabernet red for $108.

What customers say: “Already a closet staple – Comfortable but also kinda chic. I sized up compared to my other Pareto gear for a more relaxed fit. Please drop more colors soon :)” – Liz, ShopPareto.com

Who Is Pareto For?

Pareto Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Pareto Review

Since you’ve made it this far in my Pareto review, you know how significant this brand is. But still, if you’re anything like me, you’re probably wondering what its clothing is really like. To find out, I found comments and reviews from across the web. The first ones we’ll look at are from ShopPareto.com.

  • Your T-Shirt Dress: 5/5 stars; 18 reviews
  • Your Crewneck Sweater: 5/5 stars; 10 reviews
  • Your Field Jacket: 5/5 stars; 6 reviews
  • Your Sweatpants: 5/5 stars; 4 reviews

Is it a surprise that all of Pareto’s clothing has been awarded 5/5 stars? I don’t think so. I mean, what’s not to love here? Its clothing is thoughtfully created and made to last. Plus, it’s made from premium materials and looks good on just about everyone.

Here’s one Pareto review for Your Field Jacket that explains why so many people love the brand.

I have been so excited about this jacket since I saw it debut on Instagram! It has absolutely lived up to my expectations and beyond. The fabric is amazing (perfect fall/spring weight). I’m in love with the adjustable cinch waist – super flattering and fun to play around with. It’s definitely earned a spot at the front of my closet!

It’s always nice to read that a product lives up to expectations, but let’s head off the brand’s website to see if the same kind of feedback can be found elsewhere. For backup, I turned to Thing Testing where Pareto was awarded 5/5 stars from 15 shoppers. Plus, 100% said they would recommend this brand.

One customer had nothing but great things to say in their Pareto review: “I love Pareto. I have the t-shirt dress and sweater and both have become staples in my everyday wardrobe. I’ve gifted the sweater to a few family members and they’ve since purchased additional colors! Overall amazing brand!”

On Reddit, similar feedback was found. Here’s what one user wrote in a thread about travel essentials: “I love the brand Pareto for travel essentials, especially their t-shirt dress and tank top…Plus, they are really easy to style in a bunch of different ways so that you don’t have to pack much. I usually end up wearing the t-shirt dress at least once per day on a trip.

This comment was super helpful and confirms everything the brand has claimed its clothing does. Truly, I didn’t find a single shred of negative feedback on the web so it makes the conclusion of this Pareto review really easy to write. Read on for more.

Is Pareto Legit?

Pareto Review
@kales.joy

There’s nothing I found while writing this Pareto review that would make me think otherwise. From what I’ve heard it’s a fantastic company to shop with and support.

Is Pareto Worth It?

Pareto Review
@modernconciouslife

Yes, especially if you’re someone that wants to make getting dressed the easiest part of your day. That’s Pareto’s mission, and it’s a noble one considering that deciding what to wear before events, work, or even casual outings can be a major point of frustration.

I also like that Pareto uses organic cotton from Texas, manufactures its clothing in the USA, and is transparent about every step of the manufacturing process. Pareto isn’t just worth it, it’s one of those brands that’s changing the face of fashion as we know it (and for the better!).

Pareto Promotions & Discounts

Pareto Review

Well-made, quality, organic cotton clothing usually doesn’t come cheap, so I was surprised to see that Pareto’s pieces start at $48.

FAQs

Pareto Review

Who owns Pareto?

Jessica Landzberg and Olivia Putterman own Pareto. They created the brand from their Chicago apartment after sharing fashion frustrations with each other.

Does Pareto ship internationally?

Not at this time. See the next section of this Pareto review for more shipping information.

What is Pareto’s shipping policy?

One thing I really like about Pareto is that its website is as straightforward as its clothing line.

It only includes information that needs to be there, and I found everything I needed to know about shipping by adding my faves to my cart and going through the checkout process.

Here’s what you should know about shipping:

  • Pareto only delivers within the USA
  • USPS First Class shipping- arrives in about 5 business days and costs $5
  • USPS Priority Mail shipping- arrives in about 4 business days and costs $8

What is Pareto’s return policy?

Pareto knows that if you don’t truly love what you buy from its collection, you aren’t going to wear it. That defeats the entire mission of the brand, so it encourages returns.

There are some general guidelines around making them though, and I’ll walk you through them next.

  1. You have 30 days from the date of delivery to make a return
  2. The items you’re sending back must be unworkable and unwashed
  3. When Pareto receives the items, they’ll refund you the cost of the items (not the shipping)
  4. To start the return process, email returns@shoppareto with your order number
