Ribble Bikes Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Ribble Bikes Review

A bike company like Ribble looks great on paper—with their custom designs, their 5-star Ribble Bikes reviews, and 30-day trial run policies, it’s hard not to want to invest in their products.

But to get an overall opinion of this company, isn’t it important to investigate what other people are saying, and not just rely on what the brand is boasting through their site?

With a world of feedback and a global reach, it probably doesn’t come as a surprise that Ribble Bikes reviews are available at plenty of other locations, complete with recent customer ratings, feedback, and commentary that shines a light on what this bike company does well, and what they’re lacking on.

Bikes and e-bikes are an expensive and important commitment, and you should have all the stats you need before making an informed decision. So here’s some help, starting with the ratings from some of Ribble’s best sellers:

  • Endurance SL R: 5/5 stars, 5 customer reviews
  • CGR AL e Red: 5/5 stars, 14 customer reviews
  • Endurance SL e Sport: 5/5 stars, 11 customer reviews
  • CGR AL e Step Through Enthusiast: 5/5 stars, 3 customer reviews

Next, we took a peek at what folks at Trustpilot have to say, especially since that reliable platform has a catalog of 29,171 Ribble Bikes reviews, with an average of 4.1/5 stars overall. One happy customer wrote:

“My wife was looking to buy an electric bike but being short of stature wanted to make sure the size was right. Also having never ridden an electric bike she wanted a proper ride to see if it was the right bike for her. Ribble made these things happen for her and Jack patiently went through all the issues and answered a range of questions.”

“We couldn’t fault Jack’s friendly and informative service. We didn’t expect to buy the same day but the bike was great and she couldn’t wait! There was no pushy sales techniques but with a great product backed with an excellent service buying was the right thing to do. Hope there’s a raffle for best review.”

We also had a read about what BikeRadar had to say about Ribble Bikes in the recent feature they did on the expert and custom cycle company. With nothing but good feedback and green lights, the reviewer had this to say: “For commuters, the Ribble Urban comes in both aluminum and steel options, with flat bars and thick tyres that will take on bumps in the road.”

“If you’re an adventurer setting off on a long tour, then Ribble’s Adventure collection should have you covered. The steel-framed Adventure 725 is great value for money, while if your pockets are a bit deeper, the Adventure Ti would make the ultimate long-distance machine”

The last stop we made on our bike tour of Ribble reviews and products was at Cycling Weekly, where they did an in-depth article on what makes this company special, why their products are unique, and whether or not their value was worthy. Well, this Ribble Bikes review didn’t disappoint, and featured some pretty great feedback, as you can see here:

“One of the largest UK bike manufacturers, Ribble Cycles, have gained a strong following, largely thanks to their online bike builder. One of the greatest attractions of buying a bike from Ribble is that customers can select their own spec via the online bike builder. Not only does this allow you to customize your bike as you want it, but it’s incredibly fun.”

With all this said and done, we feel we’ve gotten to know Ribble Bikes. As such a long-standing and precise company, it only seems natural that they’ve become experts in their field, constructing top quality bikes and offering custom build options (a concept that has truly won the hearts of their most loyal customers).

While we admittedly came across a few negative bits of feedback, it was no match for the predominantly awesome ratings that Ribble Bikes reviews have raked in. As a solid and long-term investment, we can safely say that this expert company will have your back in quality and service.

FAQ

Ribble Bikes Review

Who owns Ribble Bikes?

True Capital is the parent company of Ribble Bikes, which was previously owned by the Dove family since the 80s. Ribble is based out of the UK, and has been in business since 1897.

Where are Ribble Bikes made?

The Ribble Bikes production method is rather interesting: the cycles are created and designed in the UK, with the parts manufactured in the far East. Once the parts are complete, they’re shipped back to the UK to be assembled. This allows the bikes to be customized or built to their original design standards.

Does Ribble Bikes ship internationally?

Yes! Ribble Bikes ships to plenty of countries globally, each with their own set of delivery times and costs. For a full list of where Ribble ships, and the details of that process, check out their delivery page.

What is Ribble Bikes’ Shipping Policy?

For the Ribble Bikes US shipping policy, they offer a tracked delivery option that typically takes 6-12 business days to ship from the UK, and costs $162 per bike. Unfortunately, if you had your heart set on an e-bike, they’re unable to ship them to the US.

On the other hand, parts, frames, and accessories are available for the same shipping speed as bikes, and will cost between $10-$69, depending on size of package and part.

What is Ribble Bikes’ Return Policy?

Ribble Bikes offers their customers a 30-day trial run to test out the bike and decide whether or not it’s for them. If you want to return your bike within the 30 days of your bike delivery, you’ll need to contact the customer service team first.

As many of the bikes can be customized, if you end up wanting to alter or exchange the bike, you’ll be charged a $62 workshop fee. If you want to cancel your order entirely, a restocking fee of $100 will be charged.

Alternatively, you have a 90-day window to return your bike as long as it is unused and in its original packaging. There is an easy-to-use returns portal on the Ribble website where you can initiate your return. International returns are responsible for return shipping costs, taxes, and duties.

How to Contact Ribble Bikes
