So, do they live up to the hype? Keep reading as we find out. This ThreadBeast review will take a deep dive into the company, its products, customer reviews, and more, to help you decide if they’re worth subscribing to.

How Does ThreadBeast Work?

ThreadBeast Review

To get started with ThreadBeast, you need to create your style profile, which is an easy-breezy process. First, they ask you what your style is. They give you three choices: Anything Goes, Casual & Relaxed, and Crisp & Clean

If you’re not too picky, Anything Goes is a good selection. Then, they ask what colors you prefer to wear: dark tones, a combination of different shades, or bright and bold colors.

As a third step, they ask how you like your pants to fit. The three choices are: slim, straight, or relaxed straight fit.

After making your choice, the quiz then asks which stores you like to shop at. This includes major retailers such as H&M, PacSun, Macy’s, Zara, and Nordstrom.

You can only pick one retailer from the list, and then steps 5, 6, 7 ask about shirt, pants, and shoe size. They will also ask about your height and weight, but you can opt-out of answering the weight question.

ThreadBeast will ask for some basic information, including your Instagram handle, email, phone number, and birthday. At the end of the quiz, you can add any special requests for your stylist, and then it’s time to select a subscription plan

After choosing your plan and entering a payment method, your stylist gets to work. First, they curate your box based on the profile you gave and ThreadBeast’s ‘styling algorithm’. Then, all you have to do is sit by your front door and wait for your threads.

From this point on, you’ll receive a box every month. The number of items and the value of the package depend on which subscription plan you choose.

This ThreadBeast review found that there are four plans to choose from: Basic, Essential, Premium, and the ThreadBeast Baller Plan. We’ll be going over the first three plans below.

Unfortunately, you’re not able to buy ThreadBeast clothing outside of a subscription.

ThreadBeast The Basic Plan Review

If you’re looking to test out ThreadBeast for the first time, may we suggest the Basic Plan? This box comes with 2–3 items per month. Generally, with the ThreadBeast basic package, you receive tops and accessories.

Packages are made to match your style profile, so it’s hard to say what exactly you’ll receive. But, based on the other ThreadBeast examples, you’re likely to receive items that would pair well together in the basic box.

So, you can receive a whole new outfit for $55, when only two of the items would cost you the same amount! ThreadBeasts stylists do all of the hard work for you and eliminate all the guesswork out of shopping.

ThreadBeast The Essential Plan Review

Next in our ThreadBeast review is the Essential Plan. In this box, you receive 4–5 items per month. This usually includes tops, pants, and different accessories. Based on the examples, you can get socks or even shoes as a special surprise.

This box costs $85, and you’re getting pretty good value from it. As described on the company site, two of these items may have a total retail price of $85, so you’re basically getting five items for the cost of two. That sounds like a steal to me!

The Essential Plan is great if you’re looking to refresh your wardrobe a little bit, or if you’re just in the mood for some new clothes.

ThreadBeast The Premium Plan Review

The final subscription option we’ll be looking at is the Premium Plan. This box comes with 6–7 items monthly, and it includes tops, bottoms, and accessories. Plus, you’ll be getting premium pieces like jeans and jackets.

Based on the examples, it looks like the ThreadBeast premium package has mixing and matching in mind. Depending on your style preferences, you’ll be receiving items that look stylish on their own and also worn together.

The Premium Plan is perfect for refreshing your wardrobe every month, and with a $135 bill? It’s kind of a no-brainer when three of those items could run you the same price. It’s possible to also receive shoes in this box, but it’s not guaranteed.

Do You Get Shoes With ThreadBeast?

ThreadBeast Review

It is possible to receive ThreadBeast shoes with the Essential and Premium plans. But, you are guaranteed to receive a pair of Nike, Adidas, or Jordans in every box you get when you pay for the Baller Plan

Who Is ThreadBeast For?

ThreadBeast Review

ThreadBeast’s marketing is geared towards young, fashionable men. It seems that their boxes are more affordable than buying individual streetwear items.

Additionally, if you’re into more casual wear instead of upscale, preppy clothes, this brand is for you. They’ve launched more female-friendly options as well, so ThreadBeast for women is definitely possible.

Comparison: ThreadBeast vs. Stitch Fix

ThreadBeast Review

The business model for clothing subscription boxes is growing due to convenience and reasonable prices. So, how does ThreadBeast compare to different companies? We took a look at Stitch Fix to see how the two brands match up.

First, we’re going to over a few of their similarities:

  • They’re both clothing subscriptions that are personally styled for you
  • Shipping fees are covered by the company
  • They’re both based in California

So, on the surface, the brands seem pretty much the same. But, there are some significant differences when you dig a little deeper:

  1. Stitch Fix is a Try Before You Buy subscription. Members are sent clothing based on the style quiz. You can buy what you like, and then send back what you don’t
  2. You pay a $20 styling fee at Stitch Fix, which is credited towards the clothes you keep
  3. They have clothes for men, women, and children of all sizes
  4. Stitch Fix has an option to buy clothes outside of a subscription
  5. Stitch Fix allows refunds and returns within 30 days

So, which brand has caught your eye? If Stitch Fix sounds interesting to you, you can check them out on in our full Stitch Fix Review.

ThreadBeast Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

ThreadBeast Review

Now, onto the pressing question: what do customers think of the brand? This ThreadBeast review scoured the internet for feedback and found some comments on their main website, Trustpilot, and the Better Business Bureau.

On their main site, ThreadBeast has an average rating of 4.5/5 stars based on 667 reviews. These buyers talk about how the company exceeded their expectations and how they appreciate the deals. There are even some return customers as well.

One customer writes, “The second box in, not at all disappointed. Quality tees and other clothing. Not that cheap thin fabric. Boxes packed as if in presentation, not just tossed in and bunched up. I really believe that those who work at ThreadBeast really have fun and enjoy picking out boxes. 10 giant thumbs up.”

10 thumbs up? That’s some really high praise. Another reviewer says, “ThreadBeast is amazing. Each box is an awesome surprise with a vast and diverse selection of clothing. They have completely changed my style and my confidence! I will and do recommend ThreadBeast to anybody I can!”

Confidence is a major key. Additionally, on the Better Business Bureau, the company has an average customer rating of 4.66/5 stars from 552 customer reviews.

On the BBB page, one customer writes, “Great company that delivers high-quality clothing. Easy to set up your style, and if there’s something you don’t like, it’s quick to notify them and change what they send next time I’ve received multiple packages and had only one item I didn’t like. Other than that one item, everything else has been excellent.”

Another BBB reviewer says, “The absolute best! Something I look forward to every month! Dope shoes and top of the line clothes EVERY SINGLE TIME. You won’t regret choosing ThreadBeast.”

Is ThreadBeast Worth It?

ThreadBeast Review

Clothing subscriptions are incredibly convenient when you don’t want to spend hours shopping. They’re especially suitable during lockdowns, as some of your favorite stores might close with restrictions. ThreadBeast is easy to sign up for, and they also partner with trendy brands.

Because each box is a surprise, you could receive items you absolutely fall in love with and have the best customer service experience. Ultimately, subscribing to this company is worth it if you are okay with this type of plan.

If you’re not willing to roll the dice on this one, other companies fall within the same price range and adopt the ‘try before you buy’ model. So this Threadbeast review would definitely recommend taking all of these factors into consideration before making any commitments.
