Overview of What Waist

What Waist Review

Founded in 2014 just outside Atlanta, Georgia, What Waist has been committed to creating products that are inclusive and promoting self-love, body positivity, and self-improvement.

That’s what makes What Waist different from other waist trainers. They don’t advertise their products as tools for body modification.

The brand is also focused on giving back to the environment; $1 from every purchase is donated to clean water initiatives, particularly ones that serve communities of color.

At first glance, it seems like What Waist has the best of intentions, so let’s dive in deeper to our What Waist review and see what else we can learn about the brand, starting with some highlights.

Highlights

  • Covers a wide range of sizes
  • Many different styles designed to target different parts of the body

What Waist Black Define Waist Band Review

Want a bit of help working up a sweat and looking cute while doing it? What Waist’s Define Waist Band may just be your new perfect workout partner.

The define band is made with cotton, latex, and a SweatTech technology that traps heat and increases sweat output. It closes with a zipper and has a velcro strap to provide back support and compression.

Available in sizes x-small to 9x-large, the Define Waist Band retails for $80

What Waist Vapor Define Band Black Review

The Vapor Define Band is basically the Define Waist Band 2.0. Still sleek, still stylish, but it takes sweat-inducing technology to the next level. That sounds kind of gross, but it’s a good thing, I swear.

Made with ThermaTech, it’s built with a silver lining that not only promotes sweat but reduces water weight during workouts as well. It includes a zipper fastener, and not just one, but TWO velcro straps for support and to cinch that waist, baby!

Available in sizes x-small to 8x-large (though check the website for availability as not all sizes are in stock right now), buy the Vapor Define Band for $115

What Waist Miracle Wrap Band Review

Worried about finding the right size? What Waist’s sizing quiz is 98% accurate, but you can always opt for their Miracle Wrap Band as well, which is one size fits all.

The versatility of this wrap band allows you to compress any area you’d like. Covering your upper and lower torso, it has a seamless six levels of velcro fastening. Not only is it great for workouts, it’s perfect for daily use under clothes, post surgery, and postpartum.

Buy it now on sale for $60, regularly $70

What Waist Review

What Waist isn’t just about waist trainers as the name might suggest. They’ve got some great loungewear and shapewear options as well! Our What Waist review has pulled a few of their bestsellers for you to check out for some everyday comfort and style.

What Waist Unicorn Lounge Shirt Review

This Unicorn Lounge Shirt reminds me of ‘space alien chic’ in the absolute best way. It’s perfect for lounging or for working out, because the material is light and non-constrictive, but is still moisture-wicking.

It’s a blend of 73% polyester and 27% spandex, and is only made better by pairing it with the matching bike shorts. This cute piece is available now on the What Waist website for $25

What Waist ErgoSculpt Extra Compression Fupa Concealer Review

That lower abdomen can be a real tough cookie to crack, but don’t worry, What Waist has the perfect compression concealer to slim and enhance all the right places.

This shaper reduces your waistline by up to 2 dress sizes, flattens your stomach, and pops that booty to give you the perfect peach. With adjustable and detachable straps, and front mesh on the legs, you’ll feel secure and smoothed from shoulder to thigh.

Made with 30% spandex and 70% nylon, the Fupa Concealer is available in sizes small to 10x-large (though some sizes are sold out currently), and costs $98

What Waist ThermaTech Body Sculpt Leggings Leopard Print Review

Get ready to cause an uproar in these cheetahlicious ThermaTech Body Sculpt Leggings. Well, they’re leopard print, but leopardlicious doesn’t sound as good.

These leggings have it all. They’re sweatproof, squat proof, waterproof, and antimicrobial. Plus, an elasticated waistband increases sweat production and targets water weight around the waist.

Grab the matching bra to complete the look. The leggings are available in size small to 5x-large, and are priced at $88

Who Is What Waist For?

What Waist Review

Although What Waist is targeted towards women, it can be used by anyone who’s interested in getting that tight waist or juicy booty. Anyone of any size can order the brand’s products because of their aim to promote body positivity and inclusivity. That being said, it’s mostly recommended for those 18 years or older.

What Waist Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

What Waist Review

Despite their enormous social media following, there are very few What Waist reviews online. This might be attributed to the fact that they’re still a smaller brand. Luckily, we’ve got enough feedback to give you an idea of whether previous buyers have enjoyed their products.

Our What Waist review found a page on Sitejabber for a brand called What A Waist, and some reviews seemed to be for What Waist. But as we can’t guarantee the accuracy of those reviews, we won’t be including them in this article.

Comboreviews.com gave quite an extensive review of the company, digging deep into a few of their products and the brand as a whole. They found the quality of the products to be on point, the sizing to be inclusive, and their shapewear perfect for targeting different parts of the body.

Their final consensus: “…It’s safe to say that What Waist is worth the money. The company’s shapewear can boast of exceptional quality and effective performance.”

The brand’s feature in Forbes highlighted their philanthropy work and notoriety with celebrities like Lizzo. It also mentioned that even after a decade of social media stardom, What Waist has been able to outlive the trends with their sleek, quality designs and their passion for supporting women’s physical and mental health.

A product we’re all familiar with by now thanks to our What Waist review, the Define Waist Band has an average of 5 out of 5 stars based on 194 reviews. One customer says, “My overall experience with this new What Waist is the bomb. I wear it everyday all day, especially when I am working from home. I definitely recommend what waist.”

There have been a few comments about the size chart not being completely accurate and customers often getting their What Waist product in too small of a size.

In this case, our What Waist review recommends reading the complete description of the individual product you’re looking to buy to see if someone of similar size has written about their experience. This may help you gauge which size to order.

Is What Waist Worth It?

What Waist Review

If you can figure out the size charts, it seems like the What Waist products are worth the buy. My only reservation is the fact that if you do in fact order a size that doesn’t fit, you need to pay for return shipping.

That said, you can exchange or return for store credit to order another style, so as long as you do your research prior (and hopefully our What Waist review has helped with that), there’s a good chance you’ll love your new waist trainer or shapewear! All things considered, we give this company two thumbs up.

What Waist Promotions & Discounts

What Waist Review

At this time, our What Waist review wasn’t able to find active promotions or discounts on their website. That said, there is the option to sort products based on their percentage off.

There’s also no harm in signing up for their newsletter, as they often include promos or exclusive items.
