Better Bathrooms Review

The bathroom is said to be one of the most creative spaces in the home. That’s not just because some of your best ideas come to you while washing your hair, but because it provides ample opportunities for unique designs. Consider Better Bathrooms your one-stop shop for creating your new favorite room.

More than a supply store selling fixtures and faucets, Better Bathrooms stocks everything from wallpaper and lighting to toilets and shower heads. An incredibly popular UK-based brand, it’s been the winner of multiple trophies, including the Digital Entrepreneur Award and National Business Award.

With 7.6k Instagram followers, their social presence is still budding, but in the meantime, this digital brand has bloomed into a multi-million dollar company with ease.

So you know they have a great rep, but are they right for your next project? I aim to help you find that out with my Better Bathrooms review. From details on the brand to some of their best-sellers and no shortage of feedback, by the end, you’ll be able to decide if they’re the right fit for you.

Overview of Better Bathrooms

Better Bathrooms Review

Better Bathrooms was founded in 2001 by Colin Stephens. By 2014, it was worth $69.3 million. How did he do it? Take a look at his inventory and you’ll know. Using trends to lead the way, finding a chic, rustic, or classic look for your bathroom is as easy as pie with this brand. And I haven’t even mentioned his business concept.

You rarely see stores that focus on just one thing, but by doing so, he created a niche concept that attracted thousands of customers. In fact, his company grew to be so successful that it was acquired by But It Direct in 2018.

Today, Better Bathrooms remains a curated collection of top-quality products and well-known brands. Based in the UK, they have showrooms in Huddersfield, Elland, and the East Midlands and deliver most of their orders using two-man delivery teams and a fleet of 50 vans.

You have the scoop on who’s behind the name, so what’s next for my Better Bathrooms review? Whether your bathroom really is on the smaller side or resembles something out of a film, you’ll find all that you need right here.

From cabinets and toilets to baths and basins, Better Bathrooms even carries accessories, tile, and lighting to complete the look. First, I’ll tackle the highlights and then move on to the details of its most popular products.

Better Bathrooms Green Toilet and Sink Unit with Marble Worktop and Brushed Brass Fittings Review

Better Bathrooms Review
Better Bathrooms Green Toilet and Sink Unit with Marble Worktop and Brushed Brass Fittings

Finished in a forest green hue, the Green Toilet and Sink Unit with Marble Worktop and Brushed Brass Fittings is a serious attention grabber in the bathroom. On the top sits a marble effect sink, giving it an elegance you thought only designers could provide.

This all-in-one unit features inner storage with multiple doors and drawers made with a filler panel to ensure it sits flush against the wall. Here’s all that comes with the unit:

  • 600mm Vanity Unit
  • 600mm Toilet Unit
  • Square basin
  • Concealed cistern
  • Worktop

Equipped with a 300mm base storage unit, door handles, and 12 adjustable legs, it’s the ideal piece for any guest or master bath, providing enough space on top to store perfume, bouquets, or shaving sets. Depending on your bathroom, you’ll pick from 1200mm, 1500mm, and 1800mm sizes for $693-$924.

Better Bathrooms Blue Freestanding Single Ended Roll Top Slipper Bath with White Feet Review

Better Bathrooms Review
Better Bathrooms Blue Freestanding Single Ended Roll Top Slipper Bath with White Feet

The Blue Freestanding Single Ended Roll Top Slipper Bath with White Feet has a retro design but a modern matte blue finish that gives you the freedom to decorate at will.

Since it’s a single-ended tub with an extended back, you’ll have more space to stretch out and more support on days where a long bath is non-negotiable.

Taking a bath can have several beneficial effects on the body[1]. It can help to relax the muscles and reduce stress, as the warm water can have a soothing and calming effect. A bath can also help to improve circulation and increase blood flow, as the heat can dilate blood vessels and improve circulation.

Made from 10mm of cast acrylic, the tub comes with Victorian-style matte white feet and a 5-year warranty. I like to picture it in a bathroom with white tiles, a large picture window, and a view of the ocean.

Ready to make the dream a reality? The tub measures 690mmx730mmx615mm and costs $503.

Better Bathrooms Triton Aspirante 9.5kw Matte Black Electric Shower Review

Better Bathrooms Review
Better Bathrooms Triton Aspirante 9.5kw Matte Black Electric Shower

The Triton Aspirante 9.6kW Matte Black Electric Shower belongs in any modern home. Sleek and futuristic, it goes well with architectural and minimalistic decor and is loved by those who enjoy a little tech throughout their home.

Using thermostatic temperature control to prevent the shock of a too hot or too cold stream, it’s a great pick for those who like consistency, convenience, or have children.

Taking a cold shower can have several potential benefits for the body[2]. Cold water can help to improve circulation and increase blood flow, as the shock of the cold water can constrict blood vessels and increase blood flow to the skin and muscles. Cold water can also help to reduce inflammation and soreness in the muscles, as it can constrict blood vessels and reduce swelling.

And since it’s energy efficient as well, you’ll save water and have a super slick-looking bathroom setup. Get it for $208 along with a one-year warranty.

Better Bathrooms Close Coupled Toilet with Soft Close Seat Review

Better Bathrooms Review
Better Bathrooms Close Coupled Toilet with Soft Close Seat

Until you hit 30, you never really think about the comfort of a toilet seat. But when you start to pay attention to it, your world changes. The Close Coupled Toilet with Soft Close Seat has all of the features one who prioritizes functionality might look for in a toilet.

Made from quality ceramic, it has 3L and 6L dual-flush options to help you save water, as well as a seat that won’t close with a life-shattering bang. And not only is it made well, it comes with a 10-year warranty to assure it stays that way.

With a squarish look, there’s almost something beautiful about this innovative seat that makes it become more of a throne. Elevate your bathroom (and your life) with the Close Coupled Toilet for $162.

Better Bathrooms Round Small Countertop Basin Alaska Review

Better Bathrooms Review
Better Bathrooms Round Small Countertop Basin Alaska

Just because you have a small bathroom doesn’t mean you can’t design it well. The 120mm-tall Round Small Countertop Basin Alaska is living proof with its chic circular design. Made from ceramic with a gloss coat, it doesn’t just look pretty, it’s made incredibly well.

Keep in mind that the basin doesn’t come with the tap and fixtures, but that just means you’ll have the freedom to choose your favorite or hook it up to one that’s already in your bathroom. Guaranteed for 10 years, get it for $58.

Better Bathrooms White Vertical Single Panel Radiator Review

Better Bathrooms Review
Better Bathrooms White Vertical Single Panel Radiator

Don’t get me wrong, I love vintage design just as much as the next girl, but if you have a modern bathroom, old-school radiators just don’t blend in well. The White Vertical Single Panel Radiator is long and lovely, measuring 1600x240x55mm or 1600x360x55mm and connecting from your floor to, quite possibly, your ceiling.

With an output of 1634 BTU, it gives off enough warmth for a small or medium room. As for its quality, enameled steel was the choice for durability. It also means it’s resistant to scratches, stains, chemicals, impact, and UV light.

How’s that for long-lasting? And if something does go wrong, it’s protected by a 10-year warranty. Add it to your project plan for $81, or $231 for its larger size.

Who Is Better Bathrooms For?

Better Bathrooms Review

The name Better Bathrooms is quite telling. At its base, it’s a place to shop for bathroom supplies, but I’ve come to know the brand as so much more than just another supply store. More so, it’s about designing a quality bathroom that you’ll love, offering 3D modeling and a wide selection of what you’ll, not just need, but want for your next project.

Better Bathrooms Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Better Bathrooms Review

Better Bathrooms no doubt has some really great products, but the real test of a company is the feedback it gets from customers. That’s what I’ll look into in this part of my Better Bathrooms review, starting with ratings from their website. Just below, you’ll find the scores for some of its best-sellers, before I dive into the comments:

  • White Vertical Single Panel Radiator: 9.7/10 stars, 3 reviews
  • Round Small Countertop Basin: 9/10 stars, 6 reviews
  • Close Coupled Toilet with Soft Close Seat: 9.1/10 stars, 51 reviews
  • Triton Aspirante 9.5kw Matte Black Electric Shower: 8.2/10 stars, 10 reviews

One of the favorite things about this brand is that it encourages negative feedback. There’s a place for it in every comment spot which shows incredible transparency and confidence in their products and services.

In general, the comments were short. Here’s an example from the Close Coupled Toilet with Soft Close Seat: “Amazing. All fab, no improvement required!!” Another shopper wrote: “Very good price and quality.”

See what I mean? Very short and to the point but helpful nonetheless. Let’s take a look at a source outside of the brand’s site, Trustpilot. There, Better Bathrooms has a 4.1/5 star average from over 42k shoppers. That’s a pretty big number and hints at just how popular the store really is.

One Better Bathrooms reviewer here said this about how the business operates in general: “Excellent little sink, fits perfectly into my motorhome, great price, fast delivery, customer service is very friendly and helpful thank you.”

On-time shipping is important, especially when you’re redesigning your bathroom. That’s one room you certainly want to be done and dusted in a timely manner.  So we’ve got a good idea of what shoppers think about the brand and its products so far, but let’s take a look at just one more review for good measure. This one comes from a review site called Reevoo.

Overall, on Reevoo, Better Bathrooms has an 88% approval rating from over 2.9k shoppers. One of them wrote: “We’ve ordered multiple items recently & the items have been delivered on time & we have been impressed with the quality of the items.”

On-time and quality items, can you really argue with that? This final comment can do you one better. In it, a shopper said they “received excellent service, communication, and professionalism.” Other Better Bathrooms reviews speak of prompt replacements when broken items have arrived, and the brand does an excellent job of resolving issues quickly.

No matter what kind of business you buy from, service is never guaranteed to be flawless, especially when shopping online. More so, what’s important is how a company handles issues and it looks like Better Bathrooms excels in that department.

Each place I checked for feedback for my Better Bathrooms review, I saw very impressive scores. And not just in one category but across the board, performing well in customer service, shipping, and product quality.

Is Better Bathrooms Legit?

Better Bathrooms Review

The feedback for Better Bathrooms is stellar. No matter where I looked, customers have the nicest things to say about this brand.

While no business ever gets away scot-free and I read the occasional complaint, nothing alarming popped up in my search. In other words, Better Bathrooms gets the green light from me.

Is Better Bathrooms Worth It?

Better Bathrooms Review

The bathroom is a special room in every home. In modern design, it’s a place for possibilities and provides many chances for unique decor. Better Bathrooms elegantly piles everything you need into one place to create a bathroom worthy of a Homes & Gardens spread.

I love the concept that the brand is 100% dedicated to bathrooms, which means they stock everything you need and have a ton of options.

On top of great products, Better Bathrooms delivers excellent customer service and fast shipping. Those three things form the gold standard of online shopping, and knowing that, I can’t help but recommend the brand.

Better Bathrooms Promotions & Discounts

Better Bathrooms Review

No Better Bathrooms review would be complete without the details on deals, and while perusing the brand’s website, I saw that they offer an outlet store and a sale section. Major score.

And while this upcoming point isn’t necessarily a discount, I was thrilled to see a 3D bathroom designer available online as well. It’s an added freebie that makes putting together your dream bathroom that much easier. In addition, if you’d like to split up your payment or sign up for financing, you can with 0% APR.
