Cult Furniture Malmros Dining Chair, Black Fabric Review

Cult Furniture Review
Cult Furniture Malmros Dining Chair, Black Fabric

The wrong chairs can ruin a room. Seriously. They can be the difference between a put-together table and a sloppy-looking set, and since meals bring people together, you should feel good about the very thing you share those memories on.

The Malmros Dining Chair, Black Fabric is one of the brand’s most popular designs. It’s the kind of chair that’s easy to pick from a lineup of more complicated designs, with a mid-century modern flair that goes well with simple decor.

With a curved backrest, tapered legs, and a comfy fabric seat, it arrives assembled and ready for use. It measures 73cm H x 53cm W x 49cm D and is available for $272 each.

This particular style features a drawer and two paper slots for organization. Its stained black finish is accented by gold chrome for a seriously chic look and measures H75cm x L110cm x W60cm. Pair with a mid-century modern writing chair and you’re good to go. If you’re a fan, the Holbrook Desk is on sale right now for $378 (normally $454).

Cult Furniture Review
Cult Furniture Dorney 6-8 Seat Extending Dining Table, Oak

Simple and sleek, the Dorney 6-8 Seat Extending Dining Table, Oak is approachable and warm. I love that it’s extendable so it won’t take up unnecessary space if you don’t always need to seat 8 people. Accompanied with two extension panels, you can store these out of sight until you need the extra room.

The Dorney is made from engineered wood with an oak veneer, measuring 77cm H x 160cm W x 95cm D without the extension. It extends to 260cm. Fitting in nicely with any kind of decor, it rings up at $1,364.

Cult Furniture Factory Glass Triple Shade Pendant Light, Brass With Clear Glass

The Factory Glass Triple Shade Pendant Light, Brass With Clear Glass is a fantastic peek into the brand’s industrial side. Featuring three glass pendants that hang from a circular holder, I love that each one is a different length to create an intriguing look.

Hang them above your dining room table, foyer, or in your study, and enjoy the contrast of brass, black, and clear glass.

The ceiling rose measures 28cm across while the cable hangs 90cm long. Add it to your cart for $135.

A sofa after my own heart. The Lennox 3 Seater Sofa, Forest Green With Natural Legs is my dream couch. It’s actually part of the brand’s made-to-order collection, so you’ll actually have tons of choices if this particular hue isn’t your thing.

The one I’m featuring is a beautiful jewel-toned green velvet with oak wood legs. It has clean lines and a timeless silhouette that could be vintage or modern. A gorgeous color that works well with other rich tones and neutrals, consider this piece your starting point, then add texture and color through rugs, mirrors, and other accents.

Cult Furniture Freya Wavy Wall Mirror, Champagne Brass Review

Cult Furniture Review
Cult Furniture Freya Wavy Wall Mirror, Champagne Brass

Mirrors bring life and light to spaces, helping to open up rooms and make them feel less stuffy. They’re also a great chance to get creative since nowadays mirrors are just as design-oriented as rugs and art are.

The Freya Wavy Wall Mirror, Champagne Brass is a great example of that, with a thin, wiggly circumference made in a brassy hue. It’s both industrial and contemporary, adding some movement to your living room, bathroom, or entryway. Measuring 102cm H x 102cm W x 2cm D, add it to your space for $454.

Cult Furniture Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Cult Furniture Review

It’s one thing to look at gorgeous furniture and another to order, receive, and use it. To understand the brand from an insider’s point of view, I scoped out the web for helpful customer feedback. Naturally, the first place I checked is always the brand’s website.

While doesn’t show reviews for individual products, they do have a page where they group them all together. After clicking through several pages, I learned that all of them rated their experience with the brand 5/5 stars. Let’s take a look at one to see what customers liked so much:

“Definitely 5/5. Turned up before the anticipated date, well-packaged, and good quality. We absolutely love the color [and] the style of the chair, and very comfortable. They look beautiful in our dining room very very happy.”

Many of the other comments there also mention speedy delivery and great packaging, two of the things I definitely want to verify with other sources. To make sure this kind of feedback was true, I weighed it against the comments on Trustpilot.

Overall, 3.5k shoppers awarded Cult Furniture 4.7/5 stars. I’ll show you the snapshot first then we’ll check out the comments.

  • Excellent: 84%
  • Great: 9%
  • Average: 2%
  • Poor: 2%
  • Bad: 3%

One Cult Furniture review read: “Amazing amazing experience! I wanted two ottomans but ordered one since it was my first time trying them out, and I absolutely fell in love! So light, so nicely designed, and very good quality! I ordered the other one after and just as great, and oh I should not forget, they have extremely fast delivery!”

On top of the fantastic feedback, Cult Furniture has responded to all of their negative comments, which total just 5% of shoppers. That’s a great sign.

But still, I wanted just one more source, so I hit up There were just 6 comments there, which isn’t really enough to give us an accurate depiction of the brand. What I found there was still helpful in understanding what their delivery and packaging are like.

Here’s what one customer had to say in their Cult Furniture review: “I just took delivery of 6 Hackney Dining chairs. They arrived promptly and at the exact hour I was promised – beautifully packed and mummified in protective wrapping. Simple to put them together, even for an idiot like me. But the main thing to say is these chairs are gorgeous.”

There you have it. Every source I checked verifies that Cult Furniture has great products, fast shipping, and thorough packaging. While not every comment I read was positive, the majority of them were and it appears that the brand does well at responding to and resolving issues.

Is Cult Furniture Legit?

Cult Furniture Review

While reading through feedback for my Cult Furniture review, I made sure to keep tabs on any issues that arose with online shopping. To be honest, it would be more alarming if no issues popped up, so the fact that I found a few for this brand wasn’t too concerning. With that said, I still think they’re worth mentioning.

The most common issue customers faced was with shipping and packaging. It seems that DPD often schedules deliveries for one day but doesn’t deliver until the next day. Not a huge problem, but could be for those who make time to be home for their delivery.

Others mentioned receiving orders that weren’t properly packaged resulting in damage. What I did notice about complaints was that the bulk of them was made over a year ago. The majority of more recent reviews awarded the brand 5/5 stars

So is the brand legit? It certainly is, and since Cult Furniture responds to 100% of negative comments on Trustpilot, I’m confident that they will do their best to resolve any issue.

Is Cult Furniture Worth It?

Cult Furniture Review

I’ve reached the point in my life where I’m a furniture fanatic. I’d rather buy home decor than personal accessories, so when I come across a furniture shop with great-looking designs, I’m immediately intrigued.

As I got to know this brand while writing my Cult Furniture review, that intrigue turned into love. But not just because the brand offers gorgeous designs. It has helpful customer service and some really fantastic discounts as well. As someone who’s not a big planner, I also appreciate that most of its products ship within 48 hours.
