Corro Review

Do you own a horse and find you have trouble finding the right products for riding and taking care of them? If you’re looking for a one-stop horse shop with the best the industry has to offer, check out this Corro review.

Corro is an e-commerce site that sells curated products for your equine needs at competitive prices. They carry many manufacturers, like Weatherbeeta, Professional’s Choice, and even some Corro original products, and makes them available to everyone across the US.

The company has gained over 15.2k followers on Instagram and over 23.5k on Facebook. They’ve also been featured in news outlets, including EquiSearch, Business Insider, Medium, Sidelines Magazine, and many others.

But, does Corro really have everything you need to maintain and ride horses? My Corro review will find out by looking over the company’s history, best-selling products, policies, promotions, and customer feedback.

Overview of Corro

Corro Review

According to an article from Medium, the pet industry often focuses on smaller pets, while horses are considered more “niche.” As a result, products for horses aren’t as accessible – even though it’s estimated that there are more than 2 million horse owners in the US

Unlike a cat or dog owner who can order from PetSmart to find the right brand that works for their pets, most horse owners have to rely on local manufacturers and specialty brick and mortar shops, with a limited product selection sold through easily accessible retailers.

Avid horse riders Sophie Stenbeck and Monica McCourt recognized the problem, and wanted to make products from these smaller stores and manufacturers available to more customers using the same direct-to-consumer model employed by many other pet care brands.

So, with Steinbeck’s background in media, politics, and experience as a Max Venture partner, and McCourt’s experience with design and a good working knowledge of riding culture, they founded Corro in 2019, with a headquarters in New York City.

Since then, Corro has been expanding their selection of products and brands from US manufacturers and beyond. Selling a wide range of products that serve both casual riders and established horse care professionals, everything is curated into multiple categories to make searching for products and comparing prices fast and easy.

Corro takes pride in selling vetted brands with a great reputation. They even bring a panel of equine experts together to compare and judge similar products each month, to decide which should be top rated. Afterward, the judges get to donate a portion of sales to a charity of their choice.

Corro Review

Your horse deserves the best care possible. For this Corro review, I’ll be looking at the Epona Shed Flower, the Absorbine Veterinary Liniment Gel, and the eZall All-Natural Fly Spray, some of the most popular products customers rely on to maintain the health of their horses.

Corro Epona Shed Flower Review

Corro Epona Shed Flower

If you need an easy way to clean your horse’s hide, the Epona Shed Flower is an excellent tool for the job.

Made by Epona LTD, this grooming implement acts as both a curry and shedding blade. Whether you’re removing loose hair or dirt, the Shed Flower will remove it all while still being comfortable on your horse’s skin.

Whoever is doing the grooming can expect an equally comfortable experience themselves, thanks to a thoughtful design that caters to all hand sizes.

One of Corro’s top-rated products by industry experts, this convenient brush is also built to last, durable, and rust-resistant, making it ideal for taking care of multiple horses.

Make grooming easy with the Epona Shed Flower for just $5.65.

Corro Absorbine Veterinary Liniment Gel Review

Corro Review
Corro Absorbine Veterinary Liniment Gel

Is your horse dealing with minor injuries or ongoing arthritis symptoms? Whatever their aches and pains, they’ll feel better after you apply some Absorbine Veterinary Liniment Gel made by W.F. Young.

This gel is easy to apply by hand or with a cloth and helps to heal scrapes, bruises, sore muscles, or help your horse cope with chronic pain.

It has a multitude of herbs that have antiseptic and anti-inflammatory effects, such as:

  • Calendula
  • Echinacea
  • Wormwood
  • Witch hazel
  • Menthol

The menthol also leaves behind a spearmint scent to help your horse relax. And, if you’re expecting a workout that might take a toll on your animal after the fact, you can also apply it beforehand to reduce the strain.

Absorbine Veterinary Liniment Gel was ranked as the best All Natural Horse Liniment by Corro’s panel of experts, who include pro trainers and equine rehab specialists. The judges describe it as a classic-style horse liniment and praise how effectively and quickly it works.

If you just want to try a bottle, you can buy a 3 oz for $6 or a 12 oz for $14. You can also subscribe for regular deliveries of Absorbine Veterinary Liniment Gel in intervals ranging from every 2 to 12 weeks.

Corro eZall All-Natural Fly Spray Review

Corro Review
Corro eZall All-Natural Fly Spray

A coating of dirt and swats of the tail can only do so much to stave off flies and other insects hungry to take a bite out of your horse’s flank. If you’re facing a battle of the bugs and want the best protection, try the eZall All-Natural Fly Spray.

Made by Weaver Leather LLC, this spray will keep pests away while also being totally safe to apply to your horse’s skin, thanks to its natural ingredients. They include:

  • Citronella oil
  • Cedarwood oil
  • Cinnamon oil
  • Rosemary oil
  • Red thyme oil
  • Lemongrass oil

Another top-rated product, Corro’s experts love the way this product works well to deter insects while leaving behind a healthy coat and a great scent.

And don’t worry about not having enough spray. You can get a 32 oz bottle for $14 or a 1-gallon bottle for $33. If you want to subscribe for regular deliveries, you can get the 32oz for $14 per delivery or the 1 gallon for $32

At the time of writing this Corro review, the popular eZall All-Natural Fly Spray was temporarily out of stock, with more coming soon. Just click “Notify Me When Available” to get an email when it’s back on sale.

Who Is Corro For?

Corro Review

Corro has the tools for every type of horse owner: Farmers, equestrian athletes, mounted police officers, petty zoo pony owners, the list goes on. Whether you own a single horse or are a professional in charge of caring for a full stable, Corro has products at a range of price points and quantities to take care of your needs.

Some products, like their grooming tools, can also be used for other animals. The description for the eZall All-Natural Fly Spray mentions it’s formulated for use on any kind of livestock. Cows, goats, and other farmyard animals could easily benefit from this and many other products sold by the brand.

Zookeepers and animal rescue staff may also find Corro’s wellness and horse care useful for other equines, like zebras. And they’ll certainly find their extensive range of stable supplies useful and accessible.

Corro Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Corro Review

At the time of writing this Corro review, I didn’t find many sources of customer feedback – not necessarily surprising or concerning given that horse care is still a specialty market. What I did find, however, was very positive.

The convenience and quick delivery time offered by Corro is certainly a big draw for many shoppers.

The writer at decidedlyequestrian.com – an expert in re-homing Thoroughbreds – concludes her Corro review by saying, “…my shopping experience with them was excellent. It was fast, convenient, easy to get what I want, everything arrived in great shape […] I will be shopping at Corro going forward for most of my barn needs…

Corro’s customer service is also stellar, according to many of the 43 Corro reviews on Facebook, where customers have rated the brand as 4.9/5 stars

One Facebook user’s Corro review says, “One of my blanket straps ripped within 4 days of my horse having it on.. I sent an email with photos & they are already sending out a new one! Super happy with this company.

Finally, our Corro review’s look into what customers are saying about the brand also revealed that the products themselves have certainly earned their top-rated status

A reviewer of the eZall All-Natural Fly Spray on the brand’s site writes, “I have found this all natural fly spray to be effective in keeping flies away from my horse Miller who is always in an outdoor paddock. I keep this on hand and orders arrive promptly and are well packaged.”

Corro’s official site had plenty of similarly positive reviews, praising the brand’s product quality, selection, and their user-friendly ordering process

I also found that the best-sellers in this Corro review were as highly rated by customers as they are by the brand’s panel of experts.

Here are their star ratings:

  • Epona Shed Flower – 5/5 stars based on 12 reviews
  • Absorbine Veterinary Liniment Gel – 4.7/5 stars based on 6 reviews
  • eZall All-Natural Fly Spray – 5/5 stars based on 12 reviews

Is Corro Worth It?

Corro Review

Corro sports a large selection of brands from every area of horse riding and care that are regularly being curated and reviewed by experts. Corro’s site is easy to browse, will match prices, and succeeds in making it simpler to find products, compare options, and get exactly what you need, regardless of where you’re located.

While writing this Corro review I also found that, based on customer feedback, their products seem to effectively meet the needs of both individual horse owners and the overall equine industry.

Buyers also have largely great things to say about the brand. Their products are high-quality and their customer service is considered exceptional. Shipping is quick and orders arrive carefully packaged and in excellent condition.

That’s why for the purpose of this Corro review my opinion is that shopping with this one-stop horse care company is definitely worth it
