Why You Should Trust Us

Our mission is to help you make better, more informed purchase decisions.

Our team spends hours researching, consulting with medical experts, gathering insight from expert professionals, reviewing customer feedback, and analyzing products to provide you with the information you need.

How Does FoodMarble Work?

Sometimes it’s the most simple process that delivers the most life-changing results. Using the FoodMarble AIRE or AIRE 2 detects hydrogen or hydrogen and methane (respectively) in your breath.

These gasses are produced when our bodies cannot properly break down food and signal that digestive upset (ie. gas, bloating, constipation, etc.) will occur. The process of implementing FoodMarble goes like this:

  1. Meal Time. Food will travel through your stomach and then to your small intestine. Whatever isn’t digested will continue down into your large intensive for fermentation.
  2. Fermentation. Hydrogen and methane gasses are produced. When these gasses build up, they cause IBS-like symptoms and enter your bloodstream.
  3. Breath Test. When in the lungs (via your bloodstream), hydrogen and methane are exhaled in your breath. The AIRE and AIRE 2 measure these gasses.

Before using your device, you will log your food in the FoodMarble app. Then you will perform your breath test. Your results are automatically loaded into the app and all you need to do is track them over time.

FoodMarble recommends that you don’t take more than 10 breath tests in 24 hours. The sweet spot is around 8 times per day. Be sure to keep your device away from cigarettes and cooking. Don’t smoke before using the device. Searching ‘FoodMarble alcohol’ will also tell you to stay away from the substance before use. It will totally mess with your results.

Details on the brand’s two signature digestive breath testing devices are up next in this FoodMarble review.

FoodMarble AIRE Review

FoodMarble Review

Many of us walk through life grinning and bearing the digestive pain. The FoodMarble AIRE was created to help reduce that discomfort, alerting you of sensitivities so you can eliminate certain foods accordingly.

The AIRE detects hydrogen in your breath, and when you blow into the device, it will measure your hydrogen output. Hydrogen is produced by the body when it cannot break down certain foods. When it is present in your breath, it means your body isn’t functioning properly. This produces gas, bloating, and intestinal discomfort. By simply keeping track of your hydrogen output with AIRE, you can avoid these things.

When you buy the AIRE, you will receive a carry case, USB-C charging cable, and access to the FoodMarble app. The app is where you’ll input your meals and track your results. Get yours with a 1-year warranty for $179.

What customers say: Then I discovered FoodMarble. This device has helped me so much with figuring out what actually triggers my symptoms and what doesn’t.”- Sanja, FoodMarble.com

FoodMarble AIRE 2 Review

FoodMarble Review

While the AIRE detects hydrogen alone, the AIRE 2 detects hydrogen and methane gas. Why choose one over the other? If you frequently experience constipation or have already been diagnosed with SIBO, the AIRE 2 is an essential tool that tracks fermentation in your gut.

The AIRE 2 has a slightly more techy design than the AIRE, but you’ll use both devices exactly the same way. Take it with you anywhere. It’s pocket-sized and discreet, making it easy to track your digestion no matter where you eat.

Your AIRE 2 comes with a protective carry case, a USB-C charging cable, access to the FoodMarble app, and a 1-year warranty. Enjoy immediate feedback and start learning about your digestion for $249.

What customers say: This has been a life-changing device for me. In two weeks I have figured out what so many of my trigger foods are that I feel like a NORMAL HUMAN again. I am so very happy. I have my life back. – Adriane, FoodMarble.com

Does FoodMarble Work?

FoodMarble Review

FoodMarble has excellent feedback and the device does work. As long as you enter your data correctly and frequently, it will tell you which foods are triggers.

Who would I recommend FoodMarble to?

FoodMarble is a fantastic option for anyone who wants to take control of a digestive disorder like IBS. It allows you to track what foods trigger digestive upset so you can live comfortably.

Who I wouldn’t recommend FoodMarble to?

FoodMarble cannot be used to diagnose, prevent, or treat SIBO. If you think you may have SIBO, contact your doctor. Those looking for general wellness products or weight loss products should consider the alternatives below in this FoodMarble review.

Alternatives To FoodMarble

FoodMarble Review

FoodMarble is a unique device, but it isn’t the only of its kind. In the case that you’re looking for something else, consider these alternatives:

  • Lumen is a metabolic tracking device that produces detailed, customized meal suggestions for weight loss and energy gain. Unlike FoodMarble, it doesn’t help with digestive issues, but it can keep you away from foods that won’t benefit you. There are a few FoodMarble vs Lumen reviews on the web, but really, these devices do different things.
  • Notch Health will help you determine what your digestive issues are through a convenient at-home test. Screening for food allergies, sensitivities, and vitamin deficiencies, won’t diagnose you on the spot like FoodMarble will, but it will help you feel better through knowledge.
  • Seed probiotics will help you reach optimal gut health. This may deter digestive upset to some degree and calm IBS symptoms, but it’s a totally different concept than FoodMarble.

What Do Experts Think?

FoodMarble Review

In a FoodMarble review on Healthline that was medically reviewed by Cynthia Taylor Chavoustie, MPAS, PA-C, the AIRE device was said to truly work. Here’s what their team had to say:

The FoodMarble AIRE accurately measures hydrogen levels in the breath. When coupled with the app, this data can provide accurate information. You can use that information to determine which foods cause you indigestion or gastrointestinal distress. However, you’ll do the bulk of the work. If you don’t consistently and accurately input your data, you may not get tangible results.”

In other words, the AIRE won’t work unless you do, so you will need to be sure to input your data correctly and learn which foods to steer clear of. Since you now know what an expert thinks, let’s see what customers have to say next in this FoodMarble review.

FoodMarble Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

FoodMarble Review

There are numerous user success stories on FoodMarble.com. “My life changed completely. AIRE taught me so much. One of the biggest eye openers is the fact that it detects digestive problems, even before the pain starts. For example, broccoli (I try to eat healthy) was one of my favourite vegetables, and is a no go for me. I had no idea,” read one.

From this FoodMarble review, we can see how beneficial the AIRE can be in detecting issues before they start.

On Trustpilot, FoodMarble has a 4.3/5 star score among 180 reviews. Here’s a look at the snapshot:

  • 5 stars: 73%
  • 4 stars: 13%
  • 3 stars: 4%
  • 2 stars: 2%
  • 1 star: 8%

As you can tell from the numbers, there is a ton of excellent feedback about the brand on Trustpilot. One of the FoodMarble AIRE 2 reviews that mentions their device’s benefits reads:

I periodically have to test for SIBO and my doctor recently told me about the AIRE II device. What I love about this device: (1) The device costs the same as the other test that I used to take – but I can take the test on the device unlimited times (2) My doctor gets the results immediately and because my doctor is amazing, she lets me know almost immediately too and we can start treatment sooner.

Though the AIRE and AIRE 2 are not designed to detect or treat SIBO, many doctors recommend them to their patients to help track symptoms.

The AIRE is sold by Best Buy and has a 5/5 star score and 3 reviews on their online store. One FoodMarble review read:

“After years (and countless doctor visits) I was finally able to find the cause of discomfort and bloating. After meals. The app guides you through logging meals and then you test to see which ones contain foods that were causing symptoms. Feel like I got my life back. I can eat out with friends without worry. Excellent product.

Eating is supposed to be a stress-free activity, but with digestive disorders, it’s a point of constant anxiety. FoodMarble helps take some of it away, giving you more comfort and freedom in your life.

Is FoodMarble Legit?

FoodMarble Review

Nothing I found during this FoodMarble review would make me think otherwise. The brand has replied to 100% of their negative reviews on Trustpilot (which is a total of six, by the way). This shows that if you do run into an issue with their devices, they will make it right.

Is FoodMarble Worth It?
