About Eucalypso

Eucalypso Review

Even with the fan on and heat off in the dead of winter, I still wake up sweaty. This is no thanks to my cotton sheets, which contributes to my night sweats. Once I switched over to Eucalypso sheets, I now sleep cool all night long. Using 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell throughout their line of supremely soft bedding, Eucalypso sheets are 3x more breathable and 70% more moisture-wicking than cotton.

Did that catch your attention? You’re not the only one. Eucalypso has been featured on HGTV, Vogue, and Architectural Digest and has a social community of 38k.

If you’re a hot sleeper, you’re definitely going to want to check out my Eucalypso review. I’ve packed everything you need to know about the brand and its bedding into this bite-size review to help you decide if they’re the right choice. Let’s pull back the covers and dive in.

Overview Of Eucalypso

Eucalypso Review

Before I get into more details, what’s up with the name? Well, you know the TENCEL™ Lyocell the brand uses? It comes from eucalyptus wood pulp which just happens to be one of the most sustainable materials on the planet.

On top of that, their products are made in an “OEKO-TEX® certified and sustainably made in a closed loop process,” recycling 99% of all water and solvents used in production. Eucalypso didn’t stop there. Their line is also certified by the FSC® and PEFC and meets Responsible Care and ISO standards.

Making USDA Certified Biobased products, Eucalypso is one of the most sustainable and safe options in bedding available. It’s also one of the softest.

Designed for hot sleepers and people with sensitive or acne prone skin, Eucalypso was created to be cooling and pampering on the skin. The sheets are most well known for their cooling properties, being 3x more breathable and 70% more moisture wicking than cotton. They’re also naturally hypoallergenic and antibacterial, making them perfect on the skin.

The line is created in New York City where the brand’s headquarters are launched in 2018 by Elle Liu, it’s relatively new to the bedding scene. Now that you know a little more about its foundation, let’s dig into the next part of my Eucalypso review. The highlights are first:

Eucalypso Bedding Review

Eucalypso’s line of bedding is simple, but you’ll have a choice of 8 swoon-worthy colors. Using 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell throughout the line, this collection is ideal for anyone who wants to make their sleep truly beautiful. You’ll meet a handful of their bestsellers next.

Eucalypso Classic Sheet Set Review

Sheets are arguably more important than comforters, so it makes sense that the Classic Sheet Set is Eucalypso’s most popular product. Extremely soft and silky on your skin, it’s a cruelty-free and more sustainable option than choosing silk, and certainly more breathable than cotton.

The Classic Sheet Set comes with a flat sheet, fitted sheet, and one or two pillowcases depending on the size you choose. I am absolutely IN LOVE with these sheets in the light blue and terracotta colors, but any shade will give your bed a luxe look. Grab the set in sizes from Twin to California King for $159-$219.

Notable for its cooling properties, Eucalypso’s sheets are made of 100% TENCEL™ lyocell, making them 70x more moisture-wicking than cotton sheets – temperature-regulating, durable, antibacterial, and eco-friendly. These sheets are 3x more breathable than cotton, the perfect solution for hot sleepers prone to night sweats. So at night when your body heat rises, it will no longer get trapped underneath your bedding. Instead, the heat will be released through the breathable, cooling TENCEL sheet, and you won’t feel like you’re baking in the middle of the night. These sheets are perfect for hot sleepers, our couples who sleep hot and cold.

What customers say: “Love these…they should come with a Warning: only dress your bed if you are able to sleep in tomorrow. They are so comfy I didn’t want to wake up and get out of bed. Helped with the temperature in my bed!” – Ryan Paulaitis, EucalypsoHome.com

Eucalypso Pillowcase Set Review

Eucalypso says that if you’re on the fence about their products, order a Pillowcase Set. Because the brand’s bedding is made from the same material, you’ll be able to tell if you love it before committing to something larger.

Spoiler alert: I haven’t read a single Eucalypso review from someone who didn’t love it, but I understand that starting small is a great way to try before you buy big. The Pillowcase Set comes with two Standard or King size envelope closure-style pillowcases for $50-$55.

These Eucalypso pillowcases are perfect for people looking to wake up with clear, radiant skin. Eucalypso products are hypoallergenic and antibacterial, helping banish acne-causing bacteria while you sleep. Tencel is cooling, moisture-wicking, and perfectly temperature regulating. All these qualities combined make it the best for bedding to actually help prevent acne, bacne, skin sensitivities, and eczema. Beyond the skin, tencel is just as great for your hair, as tencel pillowcases help smooth frizz, retain moisture, and reduce breakage-making sure your hair is perfectly smooth and shiny the next morning.

What customers say: “I bought the set for my husband and I and we love them. They stay cool to the touch at night and are so soft.” – Missy Owens, EucalypsoHome.com

Eucalypso Heavenly Duvet Cover Review

Keep your Dream Comforter protected and give it some dreamy color with the Heavenly Duvet Cover. Made from the same 100% TENCEL™ Lyocell that the rest of the brand’s line is, you’ll feel snug as a bug in a rug as you cozy up without overheating.

Because the cover is made from sustainable wood sources, including eucalyptus wood pulp, it’ll keep you cool throughout the night while feeling supremely soft against your skin.

The Heavenly Duvet Cover is incredibly breathable and cool to the touch, so they are perfect for hot sleepers who experience night sweats. Instead of trapping bacteria and sweat, TENCEL sheets are moisture wicking and temperature regulating, making them your skin’s best friend given that the most common cause of skin allergies is by microscopic dust mites that get trapped in the weave of cotton sheets, and incubated by sweat.

You can get the Heavenly Duvet Cover in sizes Full/Queen and King/Cali King for $150-$170. Or if you know you’ll love it, pick up the Deluxe Sleep Bundle instead to get the cover along with the Classic Sheets Set and Pillowcase Set for $282

What customers say: “I love this duvet cover, it is so cool to the touch and breathable. It washes well and the quality is top-notch.” – Sarah Loucks, EucalypsoHome.com

Eucalypso Dream Comforter Review

I’m super picky about my bedding. My comforter needs to be the right weight, have the right plushness, and be warm. But not too warm. Since you’re here reading this Eucalypso review, I’ll take a guess and say you probably are too.

The Eucalypso Dream Comforter is the perfect finishing touch to your dream bed set, enveloping you in sustainable softness. The brand uses words like “marshmallow” and “cloud” to describe this comforter, which is perfect because while it’s nice and puffy, it’s also lightweight and breathable. They’re naturally temperature regulating, making them ideal for someone looking for a lightweight comforter for all seasons.

You can buy the Dream Comforter in sizes Full/Queen and King/Cali King for $200-$215 (originally $250-$270).

What customers say: “It’s super soft, not too hot, and feels really nice on my skin!” – Shaun Miller, EucalypsoHome.com

Eucalypso Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Eucalypso Review

I’ve been there. You buy sheets that are supposed to be soft and luxurious and they’re hot and scratchy. The literal worst. If that sounds familiar, then this is the part of my Eucalypso review you’ll really want to pay attention to.

To help you understand what Eucalypso sheets are really like, I’ve rounded up feedback from across the web. The first we’ll look at comes from the brand’s website. Below, you’ll see the ratings for a few of their bestsellers:

  • Classic Sheet Set: 4.9/5 stars, 1,738 reviews
  • Pillowcase Set: 4.8/5 stars, 364 reviews
  • Heavenly Duvet Cover: 4.8/5 stars, 282 reviews
  • Dream Comforter: 4.7/5 stars, 97 reviews

Looking into the comments for the Classic Sheet Set, one Eucalypso review read: “These sheets are both beautiful and comfortable. So soft and almost liquid as they touch the skin. They are the most comfortable sheets I have ever slept in you can bet that I am culling my old linens and saving up to buy another set of these!!”

This comment makes it clear that it’s worth replacing all of the sheets in your home with the Classic Sheet Set, and others say that they are indeed the most comfortable sheets they’ve ever owned.

While there was a ton of feedback on the brand’s website, let’s see if we can find some elsewhere. The next Eucalypso review we’ll check out is from a site called Non Biased Reviews. Their team awarded the Classic Sheet Set a 5/5 score and said:

“We loved everything about the Eucalypso Sheets, and are impressed with their softness, silkiness, thin yet luxurious feel, and the beauty of its craftsmanship.”

Snippets like this are super common for Eucalypso. It’s becoming clear to me that their bedding is truly some of the softest and most luxurious available. Let’s check in with one more source to be sure.

This time, I turned to a Eucalypso review on HGTV from a very satisfied tester. After washing and air drying the sheets for the first time, they said:

“That night, I felt like I was floating on a crisp, silky cloud, swimming in a sea of smooth, gentle waves. With my cheek lightly pressed against my new dreamy pillowcase, I fell asleep without a hitch. I slept through the night, cool as the pillow I lay my head on, and when I woke up, I was in love.”

Great imagery. I feel like I’m really there experiencing these sheets and pillowcases with them which is how I hope you feel too. All of the Eucalypso reviews I read said the same thing: that the brand’s bedding is some of the softest there is.

Is Eucalypso Legit?

Eucalypso Review

Eucalypso is legit in every way. Their sheets are super soft and silky and truly are made from some of the most sustainable materials on the planet.

I didn’t bump into many negatives for the brand while writing my Eucalypso review, and while there isn’t an abundance of feedback, there’s enough to tell me it’s a legit brand that’s loved by customers.

Is Eucalypso Worth It?

Eucalypso Review

Eucalypso bedding is, perhaps, the most sustainable kind you will ever own. It may also be the most breathable. Made from USDA-certified biobased material, their sheets, pillowcases, and duvets are biodegradable and compostable, not to mention OEKO-Tex certified safe from harmful chemicals.

They make the highest thread count TENCEL Lyocell sheets on the market, and use certified TENCEL on all their products, which is known for its high quality and longevity. If you have high standards for your clothing, food, and skincare, this is the brand you’ll want in your bedroom.
