About Everytable

Everytable delivers delicious, affordable, individually-packaged meals right to your doorstep. Offering weekly or twice weekly deliveries, Everytable meals are chef-prepared and include nutritious options for every meal of the day.

Meal subscription services that send you pre-portioned ingredients to make your own meals at home have grown in popularity[1] over the past few years. This is partly due to not having enough time[2] to cook fresh, healthy meals. But if you’re really busy, you might not even have 30 minutes to spare for cooking. If that’s the case, Everytable is here to help.

Everytable has been featured in Bloomberg, US News, Forbes, Fast Company, and Medium, among many other news sources. Also, you may have seen the Shark Tank episode where they scored a deal with Rohan Oza for $1M with the Everytable valuation at $10M.

The Everytable Instagram page has 43k followers. This Everytable subscription review will take a close look at the brand, how their subscription service works, customer ratings, shipping, and more, to help you decide if their meals are the right choice for you.

Overview of Everytable

Everytable Subscription Review

Everytable provides a healthy alternative to fast food that is just as affordable. Its made-from-scratch meals are sold through grabandgo storefronts and priced according to the neighborhood.

Sam Polk, the Everytable founder, left his high-profile Wall Street job to start a nonprofit organization called Feast that aims to provide low-income families with healthy, affordable food. He took the same principle and foundation and applied it to the creation of Everytable in 2015.

Serving multiple LA neighborhoods, the company provides a healthier option for those unable to spend large amounts of money on healthy food. Healthy, convenient food can be expensive, so some often opt for fast and cheap alternatives instead—especially if they’re busy.

Everytable’s meals are, on average, $5 cheaper than other healthy options available on the market. And this brand provides balanced meals that are very appealing to customers.

Everytable is currently delivering Everytable senior meals in partnership with the LA Mayor’s office. There are also grabandgo shops in Los Angeles, Compton, and Watts, among other cities across Southern California.

Many of its physical locations have smart vending machines with swipe-and-go services, making it easy for people to purchase a convenient and affordable lunch.

Along with its vending machines, Everytable also offers catering for any occasion and food service for businesses and their employees.

Everytable Subscription Review

On top of its grab-and-go locations across LA, Everytable offers one-time online purchases and weekly or twice-weekly subscriptions to help make eating healthy easier.

Everytable makes choosing healthy meals easy with its meal delivery service. Whether you want a week’s worth of breakfast wraps or a more affordable option for your green juice, Everytable delivers on its promise to make healthy food more accessible.

Next up, this Everytable subscription review will break down the subscription service and explain what you can expect when you order from the company.

How Does Everytable Work?

Everytable Subscription Review

The Everytable subscription allows customers to pick a range of items from the rotating menu each week. Meals are professionally cooked and delivered to your door. All you need to do is heat and eat. Keep in mind that there is a $15 order minimum for delivery orders which equates to two to three items.

When it’s time to choose your meals for the week, Everytable will send you an email to remind you to update your order if necessary. There’s also an option to skip an order if you feel inclined to switch up your meals for the week. Plus, Everytable allows you to pause or cancel your subscription at any time by emailing its customer support team.

Although this is a subscription service, you have the option to place an order online and pick it up from an Everytable location. There is no minimum order fee for pick-up orders.

Everytable Subscription Review

If you subscribe to the delivery service, your plan will autorenew each week. And you’ll receive the same meals on the same day and time every week. If you’re ordering meals for a full week ahead, you can opt for delivery two days per week.

This Everytable subscription review reminds you that meals are best consumed within four days. If you need to freeze your meals, transfer them to a freezersafe container and microwave them when ready to eat.

Next, I’ll share details on what to expect from the Everytable meal service. Offering a range of dishes to suit different diets, your Everytable subscription can be customized weekly. Everytable provides delicious and exciting options to satisfy your palate.

Everytable Subscription

Everytable Subscription Review

Your Everytable Subscription is super flexible. You can adjust your plan or leave it the same every week as long as you’re hitting the $15 order minimum. Pick from their menu of over 28 meals that cater to low-carb, vegan, or simply balanced diets. You can also add healthy smoothies and better-for-you desserts for a more satisfying, complete meal.

Some examples of meals you’ll find on Everytable include the Buffalo Chicken Wrap, Salmon Superfood Salad, and Spaghetti Squash and Meatballs. Aside from full meals, you can order sides or proteins to add to a meal you’re already making at home.

For example, if you’re making a vegan Caesar salad but are having meat-eating guests over, ordering four servings of Lemon Pepper Chicken is an easy and affordable way to make your guests happy without having to cook the chicken yourself.

Let’s take a closer look at one of the brand’s most popular meals: the turkey taco bowl. It features nutritious ingredients like ground turkey, brown rice, and black beans.

Turkey is lower in calories and fats and higher in protein than chicken, which is great if you’re trying to lose weight. Similarly, brown rice is higher in nutrients[3] than white rice, and the consumption of beans[4] has the potential to improve obesity-related diseases.

The sides offered by Everytable can be wellrounded dinner additions for families on busy weeknights. For example, if you’re a BBQ master and have the steaks under control but would like a side to complement the protein, cue the Cauliflower Mac and Cheese that serves six.

Made with roasted cauliflower and cheese sauce instead of pasta, this side dish is a healthy and equally satisfying alternative to a popular comfort food. Plus, cauliflower is high in antioxidants[5], which can help reduce your risk of disease.

In addition, Everytable provides options for healthy and affordable beverages and desserts, regardless of your diet. Plus, the company sells nutritious smoothies at half the price you’d pay for them in-store. Check out their Mango Turmeric Smoothie, which features ingredients with medicinal properties.

If you’re a sweets lover, try out their healthier dessert options—such as the vegan peanut butter cookie bars and the chocolate chip cookies packed with flaxseed. Flaxseed is rich in omega-3 and omega-6, which are known to help prevent[6] certain diseases, like diabetes and heart disease.

The Everytable subscription service offers breakfast, lunch, dinner, and dessert options to keep you satiated, happy, and healthy throughout the day.

How Much is Everytable?

Everytable Subscription Review

Everytable prices start at just $5. If you choose the delivery option, there is an order minimum of $15, however, if you choose to pick up your orders, there is no order minimum.

This Everytable subscription review chose five meals for lunch for one week and the cost before delivery was $36. That’s an average of just over $7 per meal.

Your total cost will vary depending on the items you choose and how much food you require per meal. There is no subscription cost, but you will be charged the same amount weekly unless you change your order status.

Everytable Subscription Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Everytable Subscription Review

This Everytable subscription review checked Trustpilot, Yelp, and Spoon University, for more information on how customers view the brand. Customer reviews tend to include feedback about these topics: quality for price, taste, packaging, the subscription service, and the brand as a whole.

Everytable has a 4.5/5 stars rating based on 931 customer reviews on Trustpilot. This Everytable subscription review notes that the brand only has Excellent and Great ratings on this website (and less than one percent ‘Average’ ratings).

One customer left this positive review: “Everytable has been a gamechanger for my health. They’re actually affordable, convenient, and their customer service is on point.”

On the other hand, some customers were displeased by the excessive packaging. Here’s what one reviewer had to say about that:

[I] feel really bad with the amount of waste created from all of the boxes and ice packs and food containers.”

Others mentioned that the company couldn’t approve substitutions before their delivery came.

On Yelp, Everytable has a 4.5/5 stars rating based on 330 customer reviews.

This customer had nothing but great things to say about the subscription service: “Genuinely floored at the quality you get for the price…The shipment comes well-packaged in a tidy compostable/ recyclable box with ice packs…The food is diverse, vibrant, and fresh.”

A limited number of reviewers on Yelp were unhappy with the taste, like this customer: “The food though just isn’t good. High in sugar, far, and bland rubbery chicken breast.  Not enough vegetables and what is it is overcooked and under-seasoned.”

It’s important to note that this kind of feedback is rare, so it might have to do with personal preference.

An individual left a detailed review listing the things they love about the Everytable subscription service: “My favorite points of using Everytable for a week were: 1) I didn’t have to cook but my meals were still cheap and nutritious 2) the delivery came at the assigned time and very well packaged 3) I get to support a company that is doing incredible things for our local community.

Is Everytable Worth It?

Everytable Subscription Review

Everytable has very high ratings on multiple review sites. This may be due in part to its mission to help lower-income neighborhoods gain access to nutritious meals. But it’s also because customers love their food

The photos of meals taken by customers look fresh and delicious, and I love that they periodically switch up their menu and offer meal options for various diets and lifestyles.

The major issue that customers seem to have with the brand is the packaging. However, Everytable has stated that it’s working on a solution for more sustainable packaging, so customers may see a change soon.

In terms of quality for the price, customers seem pleased with their meals. This Everytable subscription review placed a sample order for a week’s worth of lunches and was impressed with the cost as well. Their meals are affordable compared to typical healthy takeout businesses—some of which charge customers double the price.

To conclude, this Everytable subscription review appreciates the brand and its mission and believes its products are worth buying. The only downside is that the service is only offered in select locations. I hope that as the brand begins to franchise, we’ll see them popping up in more places across the country.
