About Horne

Horne Review

Have you ever fantasized about owning a dream home? Everyone has, but not many people pay as much attention to what’s inside the home as they do the location, the size, and the exterior.

Yes, a 12-acre mansion would be sublime, but it’d be a bit of waste if you went inside and it looked like a camper van with plastic furniture.

The point is that you can make your living space a lot prettier – and therefore more pleasant to be in – with some simple modifications to your furniture. Rather than jumping to IKEA when you need a new table, why not consider Horne? The American brand has been a unique entity in the furniture distribution sphere for nearly 15 years.

The company excels in supplying customers with contemporary, sleek, and alluring pieces. They aren’t lifeless and flimsy but are crafted with care.

In this Horne review, I will look at the underlying ideas that form this brand and how they present themselves in their practices. You’ll also learn about a few of Horne’s best-selling items, what customers think about the brand and the answers to a couple of often-asked questions.

If you look at the about page on Horne’s website you’ll find a cute love story about the brand’s founders Ryan Walker and Alissa Parker-Walker. It’s a personal touch that implies the emotional core at Horne’s center. The duo dreamed of sharing their affection for each other and furniture with the world, so they did it.

In a sea of lifeless furniture companies or kitschy-but-clunky structures, Horne’s curation stands out from the pack

The company has direct lines with modern furniture development companies that often create pieces that are effortless and thoughtful. I mean that in regards to both the visual and functional designs.

They select furniture that captures the sensibilities of modern living. Many of their items are about shape, size, and authenticity – three aspects that you can’t find with fast furniture.

Maybe that’s why Horne’s fans and colleagues are, more often than not, creators rather than consumers. Architects, artists, interior designers, and more come to Horne for the brightest and best products available.

Or, it could be because Horne can secure exclusive products and deals with some of the world’s most forward-thinking furniture brands.

The products on Horne’s website are usually what many people envision when building their dream home but are usually only found in boutique and inaccessible locations.

Now that you’ve got an idea of what they’re about, let’s move on to the highlights section of this Horne review.

Highlights

  • Offers furniture and house decorations
  • Exclusive partnerships with rare furniture designers
  • Free shipping on all US orders over $75
  • 15-day free returns policy
  • Price match guarantee
  • Financing payment plans available

The Horne furniture catalog is stacked with pieces that you’d want to display all over your house. They have beds for the bedroom, dining tables for the dining room, and couches for, well, everywhere. Their product categories include:

  1. Lighting fixtures
  2. Outdoor ornaments
  3. Kitchen & Dining
  4. Bed & bath
  5. Accessories

You can also search through their assortment of brands, which include internationally-renowned companies like Zwilling, Umbra, and Tisch New York. their list of available brands nearly outweighs the total number of products they sell.

6 Horne Furniture Bestsellers

The best way for me to show off the quality of products in this Horne review is by giving their best-sellers a run in the spotlight. These items display the traits and quality that Horne’s curation abilities are known for.

Horne Stump Stool Review

Horne Stump Stool Review
Horne Stump Stool

This first product comes courtesy of Kalon Studios, a New England brand that specializes in wooden furniture. The Horne Stump Stool is a summary of their expertise because it’s quite literally a good-looking chunk of wood.

Much like the trees it comes from, this stool is sturdy. it‘s made with all-natural maple or domestic ash and its production process ensures that every copy has its own identity.

The wood will split (though only on a cosmetic level) in a different way for everybody so that it can tell its own story.

You can grab the Horne Stump Stool for $168.

Horne Gridy Fungi Shelf Review

Horne Gridy Fungi Shelf Review
Horne Gridy Fungi Shelf

Some shelves are made to be attention-grabbers when, truth be told, they’d be fine just as they are.

The Horne Gridy Fungi Shelf Review shows that a shelf can be humble and functional without being boring. Yes, its minimal design is a bit plain, but there’s a charm in its simplicity.

This shelf comes from Menu, a Denmark-based company with a knockout team of designers at the head.

Their philosophy shines through the Horne Gridy Fungi Shelf. They aim to inject life into the furniture we take for granted without upending its usability. Thus, this shelf shows how they reach that goal – with effortless designs and clear intentions.

One last note: this shelf is the first product in my Horne review that’s currently available for a discount. It normally costs $161, but you can grab it for 20% off, meaning it only costs $129.

Horne Astro Trays Review

Horne Astro Trays Review
Horne Astro Trays

I am obsessed with the story behind the creator of the Horne Astro Trays. They’re a product of Normann Copenhagen and specifically, designer Nestor Campos, who intelligently realized that, as much as we may try, we can never get our living spaces as orderly as we’d like.

Rather than reject that, he designed the Horne Astro Trays to visualize the balance of order and chaos that’s apparent in our universe.

That may sound a tad haughty for a solid oak tray but it adds intentionality to them. You can use them to remind yourself that organization cannot exist without disorganized and to welcome that balance into your life.

The tray itself has a comforting shape. Rounded edges and a smooth finish provide a layer of coziness that you don’t often get with ornaments like this. Plus, every purchase will be slightly different because of the wood used and how it’s cut.

You can buy the Horne Astro Trays for $47.

Horne French Bistro Folding Chair Set of 2 Review

Horne French Bistro Folding Chair Set of 2 Review
Horne French Bistro Folding Chair Set of 2

I know the pro wrestling fans reading this Horne review are already excited by seeing the words “folding chair,” but this is not the item you’d want to slam into someone’s back.

Instead, the Horne French Bistro Folding Chair Set of 2 is built for quiet nights on patios with friends.

These chairs come in a multitude of colors, including:

  • Black cherry
  • Cactus
  • Capucine
  • Ice mint
  • Licorice

And that’s just the tip of the iceberg. The chairs have been coated with rust-proofing agents and two paint layers to protect the chair and the color.

Oh, and that paint is ecological, so it’s safer for both you and the environment. Speaking of, the Horne French Bistro Folding Chair Set of 2 is recyclable as well, so you can rest assured knowing that you’re sitting on a sustainable product.

The Horne French Bistro Folding Chair Set of 2 can be yours for $380.

Horne Offset Stool Review

Horne Offset Stool

If you’re looking for ingenuity and individuality then look no further than the Horne Offset Stool. Crafted in New Zealand, it has an off-center design and that’s different with every copy.

Due to the nature of sourcing the wood and piecing it together, Horne asserts that not every Horne Offset Stool will look the same, which is a plus in my book.

Philippe Malouin of Resident created this stool as a way to inject personality into everyday furniture. We all have irregularities and imbalances, but they make us who we are. The Horne Offset Stool reflects that because it can still hold your goods despite its imperfections.

Maybe imperfections is the wrong word because they’re what make this stool as close to perfect as a stool can be. You can buy it in natural, black, or umber colorways for $803.

Horne Mini Library Review

Horne Mini Library Review
Horne Mini Library

The item that’ll close out this section of my Horne review comes from Oeuf. Oeuf means egg in French, and it represents the toddler-focused products of the brand.

While your 3-year-old may not need a full library, it helps to get them into reading at a young age, so you may as well store those books on the Horne Mini Library.

This shelf was made with little ones in mind. It’s low to the ground and sturdy so that your child can keep all their books within their reach.

There shouldn’t be any threat of the Horne Mini Library losing balance because it has a rigid birch frame. If you are feeling a little cautious then you can attach it to the wall.

The Horne Mini Library is also an eco-friendly model. The finishes that adorn its surfaces are non-toxic and water-based. Plus, the entire construct was made according to European environmental regulations to ensure proper safety.

If you want a better way to store the books you hope your toddler will one day read then you should pick up the Horne Mini Library for $1,044.

The items I’ve featured in this Horne review are for people who are considerate about their furniture. Those who shop with Horne should be the type that want to supply their living space with its own personality.

Horne Reviews: What Do Customers Think?

Horne Review

It’s not always easy to know whether a brand is worth your while at first glance, which I why I’ve looked at several Horne reviews from across the internet to draw a firm conclusion. Here’s a list of some of the brand’s average scores:

  • Knoji: 4/5 stars based on more than 50 pieces of customer feedback
  • Collected-Reviews: 8.5/10 based on 1 piece of customer feedback
  • Us-Reviews: 7.8/10 based on 4 pieces of customer feedback

There are two conclusions we can draw from those findings. The first is that Horne aren’t the biggest brand on the planet, which is fine considering the second point: nearly all of their customers were pleased with them.

I was happy to read so many Horne reviews that specifically mentioned the brand’s customer service. People were elated with how well Horne treated them and catered to their problems.

Here’s what one customer said about the experience: “Just got off the phone with you. Thanks for sending out a new light. We love them and appreciate the quick reply and your excellent customer service.

That wasn’t the only Horne review that mentioned the brand’s communication skills. Here’s another testimonial that praises the company’s customer service: “Seriously, you people amaze me. You get right back with the perfect answers to all questions. How do you do this? You know how rare you are?

I was actually surprised with how many Horne reviews spoke mostly about customer service. This may be because the brand’s products aren’t always in stock or are only available in limited quantities and – as such – it’s more difficult to find them and give them reviews.

That could be considered one negative about the company, but it’s hard to complain about that when Horne carries so many other great products. Plus, I’m theorizing with that statement because the majority of Horne reviews were more like this one I found on the brand’s website:

HORNE team, you have become my one and only absolutely best customer service people of all time!! Your response was so so quick, considering I imagine time zone differences, but you actually provided me with an unbiased answer to my question rather than squirming around the issue. I nominate you as NUMBER ONE. Thank you!”

The reviews that did speak about Horne’s items focused on a few points. They mentioned that delivery was smooth, that the instructions were clear, and that the products looked fabulous. I’ve included one last buyer testimonial in order to illustrate that point.

I thought the materials used were high quality and durable, it looks good in my kid’s room. It took me about 1 hour and 45 minutes to install this product from beginning to end, taking my time along the way. I had no problems with the customer service as well as delivery… Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase and highly recommend HORNE. Five stars all the way!

Is Horne Legit?

Horne Review

Given the detail that Horne’s customers put into their reviews, it’s safe to say that this company is legit.

Is Horne Worth It?

Horne Review

I believe that Horne is worth it if you want furniture that you won’t find anywhere else. If you are happy with bog-standard furniture then you may not appreciate what Horne offers, but if you see yourself as a curator of sorts then I absolutely recommend this brand.

Alternatives

If Horne isn’t for you, there are plenty of furniture brands out there. Explore some of these options:

  • Albany Park: Albany Park makes premium handmade, easy-to-assemble sofas. With 3 sophisticated core designs, its selection ranges from classy mid-century to cozy contemporary, offering sectionals, loveseats, armchairs, ottomans, and more.
  • Frontgate: Using artisanal materials like wicker and Egyptian cotton, Frontgate’s furniture is made with craftsmanship and quality in mind. The Ohio-based company has been operating since 1991, specializing in certain types of furniture. However, its actual catalog is surprisingly deep.
  • Bobby Berk Furniture: You might know Bobby Berk as the interior decorator on the hit Netflix series Queer Eye. Bobby Berk also has his own furniture collection that features a range of stylish and functional furniture pieces for any home.

Horne Promotions & Discounts

Horne Review

As I stated earlier in this Horne review, some of the products I spoke about are on sale right now. They’re not the only ones you can get for less as there’s an entire “for sale” section on Horne’s website.

Some of these items are only available at modest discounts of less than 20%, but there are a couple that you can get for up to 60% off.

Where to Buy Horne

Horne Review

The only place where you can buy from Horne is through their website, shophorne.com.
